I shopped on Saturday and had the pleasure of meeting Vernon. He did the work of three people while running the store on his own. Despite the rush shoppers, he found time to consult with me on clothes I was buying for an upcoming trip. I planned to spend only $200, but I ended up buy over $500 worth of items thanks to some pointers from him.

**Five-Star Review for Vernon at DXL Men’s Store**
I had an outstanding experience at the DXL Men’s Store thanks to Vernon, who went above and beyond to take care of me during my visit. Despite being the only associate in the store at the time, Vernon handled everything with professionalism, calm, and incredible customer service.
On top of assisting customers, he was managing a leaking ceiling due to the rain and also resetting parts of the store — a tall order for just one person. And yet, none of that stopped him from giving me his full attention, helping me find exactly what I needed, and making sure I felt taken care of from start to finish.
Vernon was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind — a true professional who clearly takes pride in what he does. In today’s world, it’s rare to come across service like this, and he deserves recognition for handling a tough situation with such grace and dedication. Thank you, Vernon!

From the moment I walked into the store, Stephanie demonstrated a level of professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care that is increasingly rare. Good selection of merchandise. Great customer service. The lady there was very nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. Great parking! The prices though. 👀Whew! We big men have to pay for our size! All in all, will return!

A great experience and highly recommended shopping with DXL with Vernon! Wonderful experience walking me through different options, listening to my preferences and personal style, and finding a great outfit to leave me feeling confident. It’s hard to find clothes that I feel good in and Vernon absolutely got me set up!

Saw a shirt I liked online. Said was at the store in Forestville Mall. Got there and they didn’t have it. The problem was I’m telling the manager what size I’m looking for and he’s insisting I try it on anyway as if I don’t know my size or I don’t know how to dress myself… I’ve dealt with this every time I go in the store. Frankly I’d just rather be left alone unless I ask a question. It’s too intrusive to me
