Always friendly and prompt. I don’t normally leave reviews but when I saw all of these complaints here I wanted to share another perspective.

They've gone the direction of many other shady CVS stores, where they lock up competitor items so you're forced to either buy CVS brand or wait 5+ minutes for staff assistance. They will lie and say this is due to theft - it isn't. If so, the thieves would just as soon steal the CVS generic brand of the same products, which so happen to be left unlocked. They want you to become so impatient waiting for assistance that you settle for the CVS brand, so they make extra money on each product.

Nice store that offers medical screening, you can deposit cash into certain bank accounts. The pharmacy is good but slow. They offer a variety of household items.

Have to use them because of the insurance and both pharmacists have no idea how to use their system. Same prescription for two years and their app literally says the prescription is to fill on a certain day but they constantly get it wrong. When you let them know they are wrong they get embarrassed and yell at the customer. INCOMPOTENCE is all you need to know about this place!

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. I’ve used them for years because my insurance requires it and have had nothing but problems. Today was the final straw and I will just have to pay more for my prescriptions elsewhere. Yesterday, my son was very sick and the pediatrician told us we had to start steroids and nebulizers ASAP. Went to the pharmacy that evening and picked up prescriptions. No one from CVS mentioned any issues. Got home and pulled out the meds… no steroids. Called CVS and was told that they needed to confirm the dose with the doctor and sent an email but hadn’t heard back. Well now it’s after hours on a Friday night. I called the on call MD who contacted CVS to confirm the dose. Today, I called CVS to confirm that everything was straightened out before heading up to pick it up and was told that all was good. I got to the pharmacy an hour later- prescription not ready, come back in 20 minutes. Then I leave and get a phone call- they have no prednisolone in stock. So now I have to call around and find somewhere that has it and ask them to contact CVS to have it transferred. This is the 3rd time this situation has happened. One would think, especially when it’s a medication for something acute, that they could let you know they have none of the medication instead of causing a 24 hour delay. Ridiculous. We will be happily transferring to Walmart pharmacy as they are always helpful and fix CVS’ mistakes.

On two separate occasions, I attempted to use a 25% off coupon I received in the mail for a Cadbury egg purchase. Unfortunately, both times the coupon was rejected by the self-checkout kiosk.
During my first visit, despite the presence of a cashier, I had to rely on the kiosk, which is a common scenario. After the coupon was declined, a staff member kindly assisted me, but to no avail. I decided not to make the purchase and left the store. On my second visit, I encountered the same issue and ultimately let the kiosk keep the coupon, leaving the store once again without my Cadbury egg.
I understand that technical issues can happen, but these incidents were quite inconvenient. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that the coupon acceptance process at the kiosks are functioning correctly. This would greatly enhance the shopping experience for myself and other customers.

This is the worse pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Never have my meds, always on order. Call to speak to someone and you either get someone that has a major attitude or has no clue what they are doing. If I could I would give this place zero stars!

I have never had an issue with CVS in Dunkirk. Everyone there is always so helpful even though they are always so busy. Sara is awesome. Helped my wife today with a dog medication we needed and a medication for my mother.

What a disgusting pharmacy, the staff are constantly rude and very disorganized. last time I went into the pharmacy for something there was what looked like 1000s of pills that had fallen all over the floor and the staff just kept walking over them and grinding them into the carpet. How is this place allowed to operate like this??

I have been coming to the CVS for the last five years and they are always super quick and efficient and I’m never in the line for more than five minutes
