I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible service I received from Carl during my visit today. From the moment I asked for help, he went above and beyond, not only did he help me find every item I was looking for, but he did it with genuine warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm.
He didn’t just point me in the right direction he walked with me, made sure I found exactly what I needed. What truly stood out, though, was the way he engaged in such friendly and thoughtful conversation. It felt less like a chore and more like catching up with a friend who genuinely cared.
Carl showed initiative, heart, and a level of customer service that’s rare to come by these days. His attitude completely brightened my day, and I left the store feeling not only satisfied with my shopping but also uplifted by the interaction.
Please pass along my thanks to this incredible team member. Harris Teeter is lucky to have someone like him representing the store. People like this are the reason customers like me keep coming back.

In a small town area it can be a challenge to find a nice grocery store with freshly prepared foods. This store has a wide variety of prepared foods and might be one of the only ones in the area. The produce selection was pretty good and the service was excellent.

Store gets 5/5, but checkout gets 0/5. Hard to understand why you have not 1 checkout lane open and only self checkout when there are employees just standing around. I asked to do regular checkout since self checkout is nearly impossible by myself with 2 kids and I was told no.

Great selection of produce — quick in and out.
I was never greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Several employees were present but focused on their own tasks. Jasmine and Gabby, who appeared to be managers or shift leads, were standing at the register engaged in a personal conversation. The only time I received excellent customer service was from the young lady at the check register.
