We are remodeling our kitchen so my mom bought some tile here. She had scheduled an in home measurement and placed an order. We waited..& waited. When she went there to check on the order they told us they lost the measurements & would need to do it again. We did that and she picked a new tile which they had a few sheets in stock. Then they said the Delaware Store had the rest in stock so we went there and they only had two sheets. She had to go back another time to get the rest. I went to get the blinds and there were 2 on the shelf so I had to find someone to ask about the rest. I was told by the first two people I asked that I would have to find someone in that dept to ask. I couldn’t find anyone so I went to customer service. It appeared that they had a bunch more so I needed someone to check the top shelves. The customer service girl called someone to ask if they could check for me and I heard them say, no he was busy. At that time a tall man with brown hair appeared and volunteered to check for me. While he checked I tried making a little small talk with the young girl & she just responded with “yea, it’s whatever” & walked away to continue her work. I decided to go check on the man’s progress instead and found him. He couldn’t seem to locate the blinds as some of the boxes were turned the wrong way so he couldn’t see the item #. He ended up finding 4 more blinds in the very last box he pulled down (even though their system said they had 19 more.) I told him how grateful I was for his help. He was very kind and friendly and I told him that he deserved a raise for being the only one willing to “go the extra mile.”
Like many places, I believe they are always short staffed & the employees are overworked & underpaid so they’re frustrated and unhappy. In my opinion, Lowe’s needs to pay better in order to get more employees so their store can actually run efficiently. Because at this rate, they won’t be able to remain in business. Shout out to the tall man that took the time to help me so we didn’t have to make a fifth trip to the store (40+ mins away) to get the tile and blinds we needed.

Don't buy equipment from Lowes. After my previous Toro lasted 7 years, I bought a Toro push mower. 3 uses before the drive motor stripped out. Lowes wouldn't accept a return with a receipt after 2 months. The manager told me my only option was to contact Toro for help. While on hold with Toro I read the lowes website and it clearly states that lowes is supposed to return it to Toro for me. Thanks Terry the manager for letting me load the mower back up and waste time trying to get help from Toro. Then I find out it's not even made by Toro. Terry told me they have them built to lesser specs. How Shady is that? They just slap name brands on lesser quality equipment. Buy from actual Toro dealers and not this mega retailer who sells cheap knock offs under the guise of solid name brand equipment.
UPDATE: I received a reply from Lowes saying this had been "escalated internally" and that I should call the 1-800 number so they could help me. After wait time, talking with a person and waiting while they spoke to their manager, she finally came back and said no, there is nothing Lowes will do to help me. There was no offer to assist with the return, like is outlined on their website. No help. You are on your own if you buy from this big, faceless corporation. They don't care about you. Buy from mom and pop stores and dealers who are actually accountable.

We went in today get a few things and we saw the promo on the batteries for craftsman and figured we get some, how it came with a free tool. We go up to the register and the items weren’t auto populating on the promo, so the nice lady at the self check out called for Jen to assist us. Jen comes up and looks at the product then leaves for about 5 mins or so. My husband moved out of the way into the other side of the lane how the kids were being fussy. I stayed at the register talking to the lady there. Jen comes back and the first thing she says is where are the things, did he leave because that’s stealing? 1st of all ma’am you walked right by him and 2nd of all I have never been accused of stealing items. The audacity of this woman is unbelievable. It is not my fault that you lack situational awareness. Next time before accusing someone of stealing, pay attention to your surroundings. Not only that she came back with another person with her (didn’t get his name) as he was in plain clothes (no blue vest) and no name tag. As someone with LE experience don’t stand behind a customer if you are “trying to help” with the matter. If you were there to help with any questions that a customer may have you should stand in front of them so you may address them properly.

Trying to locate some parts for a shelving unit. Was put through to 3 different departments over a 40 minute time period. The last one was for power equipment and they could not forward me on to anyone else. You really have to work at to provide this level of poor customer service. It's no wonder that Ace Hardware is going to eat their lunch.

One of the best Low’s that I’ve shopped at. The people at Easton Low’s are helpful and freindly. They know where things are located and communicate effectively. I have never had any issues at any of there departments and there Customer Service is easygoing and efficiant.

Absolutely horrible customer service! We placed an online order for a pallet on mulch with the Easton, MD store on April 23rd. Delivery was setup for today, May 1st. Received a text confirmation last evening at 530 confirming the delivery window today between 9am-1pm. The delivery never happened. Went online and saw that somehow it was changed to May 4th. We never were notified. I called Easton and after being put on hold and hung up on for over an hour finally got hold of someone who stated that they were out of mulch and the order had been transferred to the Seaford DE store. Got nothing but excuses and was told to call Seaford, which I did. The young man there was very apologetic and confirmed that the delivery was scheduled on the 4th. I paid delivery fees for what? Took off to be here for delivery for what? Lowes doesn't seem to care. Be very careful about placing online orders or frankly go to Home Depot or Builders Supply...
Lowes doesn't seem to care about how they treat their Pro Customers...
