My experience here was horrible. Lexi at the front desk is very racist. I will start with the fact that she told me that they accept my insurance but she said my insurance has a history of not paying them so could I pay out of pocket. I have Medicaid. I explained to Lexi that I have never had a issue in the past so I asked is there anyone else that could assist me. She then told me that she will be right back she went to the front desk then came back and said that everything is fine. Next my son asked her if he could make a appointment she said could you have a seat and as soon as she finishes up with me she will assist him well 30 minutes went by and she never called my son up to the front desk. I went up to the desk and reminded her that he was still waiting. She said that it looked like we were having a good conversation and she did not want to disturb which makes absolutely no since. I seen her assist several Caucasian people while my son was still waiting. Last but definitely not least when I paid the balance on my bill she charged my card double and when I called and informed her of this she charged it one more time and then said that I have to wait 3 to 4 business days for a refund so please if you are Black make sure you mentally prepare yourself for encountering these type of people in life. I will definitely be reaching out to Mark Hasting who is the Chief Officer of this company.On Oct 31 I responded to the link sent to me from my eye doctor under patient relations.

I love coming here. all the employees here are so sweet and very helpful. I was helped by Hannah who is such a sweet young lady. She helped me pick my very first pair of glasses. I was not happy at all having to wear glasses. But she made me feel awesome and I am so glad I came here.

I was almost going to cancel my appointment after I read the reviews. I'm glad I didn't. I had the best experience. There was a woman there covering the desk from Seaford, DE. She was amazing. She helped me pick the perfect glasses. I'm so thankful for her as I can never find the perfect glasses for my face shape. My glasses were done a week before I expected which was another plus. Overall great experience.

LOVE MyEyeDr! They're always so quick and efficient! I utilized the virtual eye exam option (still in-office) and it was quick, easy and thorough!

This place of business is so hard to get ahold of anyone. If you’re lucky to get through you’re put on hold for more than 5 minutes, today was 9, hung up and called back and was finally answered, but was told they were “busy”, but it’s the same thing each time I call in, they either don’t answer or they answer and put you right on hold. I had an appointment July 10th, one of the ladies that work there advised me it would take a week for the contacts to come in, I called in July 31st and was given a delivery date of august 1. Called back again on the 2nd because I didn’t receive a call about them coming in, they told me on the 2nd, they’d be there on the 4th, it is now august 14th, but call, no email, but there’s a “delay”. I’m being told it’s not guaranteed, well then I shouldn’t have been told it’ll take a week because that’s not the case here. I’ve said in the past I’d be looking for another eye doctor, definitely making that move now.

Had an exam and new prescription glasses back in March visit was wonderful the new glasses are great. However a common theme like other reviews, nobody will answer a phone for a simple question.

No one Answers The Phone. Like come on…. You have to do better it’s happened every time I call bad for business. Why have establishment if you’re not going to answer when I need to make appointment or reschedule & I will not be returning to this eye dr. I tried to reschedule online and over the phone. Called multiple times in a hour no response but so quick to call me about my appointment & insurance but don’t answer the phone when called different days. I’m Done & I Know I better Not Be Bill for a No Call Or Show fee about appointment be I tried to reschedule over the multiple times in one hour before my appointment No Answer. It Just ridiculous.

I only gave one star because I had to. The ladies behind the counter were very disrespectful and unprofessional. At one point I’m waiting at the counter where 3 of them are I was totally ignored. Once I decided to walk out l I heard one of them say “I’ll be right with you”. I went to Pensel & Walker instead. I wish I had gone there first. Very professional. I highly recommend them.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. McDonald, he's a great guy! However, when I called a year later to get a copy of my prescription, it had expired. Maryland law requires contact lenses prescriptions to be valid for two years unless you are given a medical reason for a shorter time period. I was not!When I called, the receptionist referred me to a woman who seemed very hostile. She falsely informed me that the law has been changed (which I later confirmed with the Office of the Attorney General). I would have been a repeat customer. Oh well, now to continue my search for an honest eye doctor....Update - After I originally left this review, I was contacted by MyEyeDr over voicemail and email. I immediately responded to the email and have never received a response. The onus should not be on me to make this right, I have filed a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General. We'll see if anything comes of it...

This location is very unorganized and lacks giving proper information in a timely manner. I would recommend choosing a different business. This experience has been one inconvenience after the next.

I have tried to contact both offices in Easton several times. They NEVER answer the phone or return the calls. Whenever I have been in the office, the girls at the front are on their cell phones. I have a question that cannot be answered on their website.

I was scheduled for an appointment in December. The day before I was called and told that they were closing the office for Christmas (this was the 22nd). The next available was in late February. I advised them that I would also need an exam for the Hydrocloriqine I take. I show up in February and after the regular exam they inform me that they can't do the separate exam. That needs to be scheduled separately (wish they would of told me when the other appointment was rescheduled). So I show up for my 10am appointment and was told the technician did not show and we have to reschedule again. Today I show up and after sitting there for 20 minutes I inquire that if I'm the first appointment of the day why am I still sitting here (this test is only given on Tuesdays and the office doesn't open till 10am). They told me that it takes 10 minutes to warm up the machine. I gave them another 10 minutes and after waiting 30 minutes reschedule again. Funny they wanted me to come in at 10am again. I asked why I would want to come in at 10am and wait for the machine to warm up. They moved the next appointment to 11am. Hopefully the third time works. Not a happy customer.

I personally had a fantastic experience at My Eye Dr! All staff was so incredibly kind, from the receptionists, to the woman taking the photos of my eyes and such, to the actual virtual eye doctor Saadi Darvish, to the woman who checked me out at the end. Was in and out within about 25 minutes, such a pleasant experience, just waiting for my glasses to come in the mail now! :)
