The park itself seemed nice and tidy. The trails were well-maintained and while we didn't get much bird action, we could see how there could be a lot at the right time. But we were pretty disappointed with the labelling. I took a photo of the map by the parking area as I always do, but still got "lost" twice in the first 10 minutes (very unusual for me). A number of the trail junctions either weren't marked or would only have one trail mentioned, despite it actually leading to 3, 4, or 5. There was also a new trail that wasn't on the map at all that threw us off. It's great they've got a new trail! And maybe it's very new, but it's gotta match the map... And the junctions need to be labelled better for navigating, especially in those first parts where you hit a bunch of intersections very quickly.Overall a bit disappointed since I'm not from the area and didn't get to enjoy the parts of the park that I intended to.

Good walking trail. It has a small building, with one room called a welcome center. No bathrooms or running water. Outhouse.

A hidden gem! So many tree swallows, Carolina wrens, orchard orioles, kingbirds, and blue birds! Many of the trees are low enough that you can almost see the birds at eye level.

We went on a guided group hike for K-4th graders and the kids had a great time! They got to meet a box turtle and a corn snake, learn about tracks and tracks left by wildlife, explore the woods, search for insects, learn about different ecosystems and catch and release creatures at the pond. We also spent a good amount of time just playing around the herb and settlers gardens. It was a great day.

Really well maintained trail. It's short enough to be long, and long enough to be short. We loved the diversity of plants, flowers and wildlife. Lots of butterflies, birds and frogs. We took our 2 year old, and he enjoyed walking the trail, exploring the plants and having the dragon flies whizz by his head.Make your way out to the Meadowland Overlook. I imagine in the fall it's breath taking.Carry water. Maybe a squirt of bug spray, and head out!

Never got past the first hundred yards before getting attacked by gigantic horse flies. May be better to not go in mid summer, but I can't speak to that yet.

The trails we wanted to take were roped off but showed family the wild berries.

Beautiful location for bird viewing and hiking. There's also a small garden, a poet's house and bee keeping. Other than that it is not landscaped, it is a natural habitat with trails. Very tranquil. The proximity to Easton, Oxford and St. Michael's makes it a great day trip. The photo was taken on one of the Wetlands trail observation decks in May 2021.
