Please do not take your vehicle here. These people have horrible business dealings. They charge you for things that they did not do to your vehicle and will not release your vehicle until you pay them. The charges they want. Had to call the police to try to get my vehicle back. Going to charge them civilly in court for my money. I don’t mind paying for services done to my vehicle, but I don’t like to be robbed either. I

I would never take my car anywhere else. They are courteous, professional and always honest about what needs to be done & what’s optional. I never feel pressured to spend more than I’m comfortable with.

Fellow women, don’t waste your time here. They will severely overcharge and will attempt to rip you off. I was quoted $2000 to replace my spark plugs, ignition coils, & a handful other things they tried to add on that I never asked for. (Ex- headlight restoration for $200, my car is 19 years old, give me a break.) $1,653 was what they quoted to replace my spark plugs and ignition coils. In my opinion, that’s an INSANE price. Adding unnecessary repairs of things I never asked for just to raise the total of the bill. Instead I bought the spark plugs and ignition coils on my own for $300 and replaced them myself. Although after Nealey did their inspection, I discovered my spark plugs were seized and my engine cover was stuck due to the mechanics at Nealey severely over tightening everything. I assume they thought if I was not going to pay them to fix it, they would make sure the bolts were so stuck in my car that no one could fix it. I may be a women but clearly I’m stronger and smarter than the people working at Nealey assumed me to be. Even if you do not receive services here they will still blow up your phone/email asking for reviews, so here ya go Nealey ???
Update - Beware leaving reviews as well. The manager (Hi Colin!) will call AND text you, only to argue & call you a liar. I’ve never experienced something like this at ANY other business.

Normally a well run shop, they had a major screw up resulting in stranding us far away with a transaxle & transmission reduced to small pieces of hot metal. Although they have promised to make good on this, the massive hassle & inconvenience should have been avoided with just a little quality control.

Very sad to see what is happening to Nealey. Maybe they're adding too many shops too quickly? To quote a woman $1800 for replacing front struts on a Civic, followed with a $1600 quote for tierod replacement, is absolute theft! They attempted to make 350% profit on the front struts alone ($1k for just the parts). When I asked where and why these parts are more than triple the price anywhere else on the internet, the service writer was all too quick to take $200 off, as if that was the issue. Not only is that an insult, but straight up sexist.
Have since taken the car to other nearby shops for evaluations and quotes, to no one's surprise, both places didn't see the "issues" that the Nealey techs did.
Getting the work done by an honest shop (total is <$1k) and will not be giving these thieves anymore business. Ever since AJ moved away from his Edgewater location, this place has gotten worse by the day.

I will only ever bring my vehicles to Nealy. As a woman I’m always worried about getting ripped off at these kinds of places, however they continue to give me the best prices. I have never had to come back after the problem I have is fixed. They do phenomenal work. My personal preference is to go to Mario, because he is very lighthearted and understood i had no idea what I was talking about. He was able to explain my cars issue to me in simpler terms and it made me feel more comfortable! I love Nealy and I highly recommend!

So I had my first and only experience NEALEY Tire and AUTO service For recent repair on my 2016 GMC Canyon. The service that I received was like none other the service agent Mario was absolutely professional, engaging, knowledgeable, and very friendly.
I Also had An experience with Colin and he was very professional, engaging, and very Helpful and potentially resolving a separate issue.
I will continue to go to NEALEY for any and all auto service needs.

We have taken all our cars to Nealey since they opened and we trust AJ and the staff. They never use the dealer line “oh this must be done or else”. They tell us what is needed now and what is coming due. And their real time updates are great. Their pricing is excellent and when they say your car is ready, it is. Wish I could give 10 stars

I took my car in for a free inspection as I knew I needed new brakes and tires. Service was great, friendly, efficient. The quote I was given for breaks was higher than what the dealership was asking. It’s nice that they provide this free inspection service though.
