Had me rented a defective truck.. Broke down on me after we loaded up my furnitures and belongings.. waited for several hours for roadside assistance.. Lost $200 for movers service even though the job was not complete, did not get compensated from u-haul and was told from customer service that they would put it in their note and would only give me an hour and a half extra from the time i was supposed to return the truck.. I end up asking a favor from a family friend to help me unload my stuff out of the truck.. With my Luck.. The truck broke down again had to call the road assist that had helped me, told me that i had to put another ticket for service to be provided, did not want to wait again for hours especially it was getting late and dark.. Was instructed to fix the problem myself (had to go under the truck and fix the problem while obstructing traffic from where i was stranded).. Barely made it to the u-haul store to return the truck after hours.. Me and my family really had one of the worst experience from this move.

I have rented from other U-Haul locations before and had great experiences. This location is awful. They incorrectly charged me over $100 for a missing dolly when there was no dolly in the truck when we picked it up. They also incorrectly charged me for an extra day rental and insurance even though we dropped the truck off using their self serve app which automatically enters the date and time. Not to mention, I'm sure the lot has cameras. And, when we picked up the truck, the lot was very dark. It was difficult to see. They could use some light. It was very hard to see lock and enter the code to get the key. Also, the pictures in their self-serve app directing you where you can find and drop off the keys we're all wrong. We felt like we were on some scavenger hunt in the dark. The self-serve app doesn't allow you to go back when you're in the app before you leave the lot and make changes. So we were charged fuel charges because we accidentally entered the tank was full when it was only 3/4 full. The app asks you to enter the fuel reading, odometer, etc....but doesn't tell you to start the truck first. So, it looked full, and did not go down until we started the truck to leave. Before we left the lot, we went on the U-Haul app Chat option and sent a message about the fuel error so we would not be charged. They charged us anyway. When I disputed the charges, I was told they would look into it and get back to me. Over a week went by and no one called me. And, none of the incorrect charges were refunded. I just called again and was told that they could refund the extra day charges and extra day insurance, but they would have to call the POV (the rep had no idea what that stands for). Now, I'm told I will hear back from someone by Friday. That's a long time to wait for your money back when it's very easy to verify the charges were incorrect! Avoid this location for truck rental. ****Update**** No call to me on Friday from Uhaul regarding my dispute as promised. So I called U-Haul. The first try I was disconnected when transferred, and the second time I was told someone by the name of Jonathon would call me. Never heard from anyone. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I would not use this location or any Uhaul location. They clearly don't care about their customers.

The absolute worst uhaul rental ever. This place is as crooked as it comes. Ordered a hand truck on after hours rental, they never included it then charged my credit card for a missing Handtruck. Avoid this place at all cost. They are running some scam outta this joint. Never again!!!!! If I could give themm -5 Stars I would.

I should have checked how many stars this location had before I decided to reserve a U-Haul Truck. Needless to say I am more than disappointed in how my experience went so let me tell you so this S*** doesn't happen to you. So I used U-Haul's app and I was supposed to be able to show up at 7am get an unlock code for a lock box and grab my keys and go on about my day. So when when I show up and enter my code it turns out no on left a key for a truck. Adding to already my stressful day even more stressful. So I decided to call Customer Service (not really) and let them know , all they say is "We can cancel your reservation and go to another location". Well guess what another location is about 15 away which means I have to pay for the mileage for someone else's mistake, but it's just money so who cares about $1.09 a mile. I never got a call from the location apologizing or even to ask why I didn't pick up the truck which kinda pissed me even more. Anyways this place is TRASH and you should probably go visit another location, and guess what these guys like to sleep in they don't even open to till 10am smh. I hope someone there cares enough to read this and fixes your issues

Do not rent from here ! We came in to rent a dolly and on their door it states they are TIL 5pm but on the site it says 4:15 -- anyways we came to drop off by 3:50 and the sign says closed and there's no one inside. We called customer service and they said there is someone there replying via instant message. We went back to check and NO ONE is there.

We rented a trailer from "Ron". So helpful! The trailer was in perfect condition and completely ready to go when we arrived. Ron made sure lights and connections were perfect. Couldn't imagine a better experience! Thanks!!!

Don't bother even making a reservation for a truck. We made a reservation a week in advance only to find out the day before our move that they don't actually have any available trucks. Customer service was not helpful at all. Save yourself the time and trouble and don't use u-haul.

This place made moving so insanely stressful! We reserved a truck for Sunday morning for our move to help alleviate the stress of moving and U-Haul definitely failed us. The day before our move we get a call from U-Haul telling us that they don't have a truck available for us anywhere is Santa Clarita. They took our credit card info and didn't even reserve a truck? They then told us that there was a truck available in Palmdale. Palmdale? Really? 45 miles away? What is that like an hour each way plus all the gas in the truck and my car? They were not even going to accommodate us with a discount for the inconvenience. I am so mad that they would set up a scenario like this where you give them your credit card and they charge your card a deposit for a reservation and then don't even have a truck reserved.... terrible business.

Their customer service is very bad. I would never ever come back here again. The price and mileage I had online and with customer service was different here I had to wait 45 minutes to pick up a truck. An order which already placed online. That should not have taken me more than 15 minutes.

Don't waste your time with this U-Haul dealer. As I arrived a young man left the building and ran past me to his car. When I got to the door I found it was locked and the guy had driven off. This was at 1:25pm. They were supposed to be open until 2pm which is why I rushed to get there before they closed. Before I drove off another potential customer found the door locked and left cursing like I did. The first clue that this was a place to be avoided was that it looked more like a scrap yard with all the junk cars all over the place. I ended up going to Home Depot where I rented a trailer and bought all the boxes I needed. I would give this place a big ZERO.

Rented a 4X8 covered low-boy trailer. Staff was friendly, quick, and experienced. I was encouraged to purchase the insurance which was a good call (but I had no mishaps). Trailer was clean with excellent tires and new safety chains. Staff installed trailer for me and and checked out lights. The facility is a bit rough out in back, but no worries. Very easy location for me to Edgewater/Mayo. Drove trailer from Edgewater to Grand Rapids Michigan in one day. Great experience all around.
