I absolutely adore this location! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! They all treat you like your besties. Lovely. Knocking a star off only for their prices. They're a little on the steep side, but they also carry high end products. Just something to keep in mind.

Today I visited this location with two friends and my little sister. The manager was extremely rude and raised her voice at my friend who accidentally opened a blush that was sitting in the “tester” area even when she apologized and explained the mix-up (my friend had never been to an Ulta before and did not realize that the blush had been put in the wrong place). Each of us were carrying products that we were ready to buy at this time but were so upset with her unprofessional behavior that we decided to put everything back and go to Tj Maxx instead to look at makeup there. She then accused us of stealing to her coworkers after we had left the store (a friend who was still in the store informed us of this) and may have even called the police, as we saw a cop car outside this location a few minutes later. From the moment we arrived in the store, it seemed like the manager had been making sure to keep an eye on us likely just because we were a group of younger people (the three of us are adults though). One of my friends did voice these concerns to the staff while we were there. I’ve never been treated like this at other Ulta locations so I hope changes can be made to avoid a similar situation in the future.

I made a small purchase the other day. The girl asked for my phone number I said I'm not sharing my phone number. Another girl behind the counter yells over and says why don't you just give us your phone number now? I said I'm not paying with my phone number and I'm not sharing my number. She asked for it again and I stated no. In a very rude voice she walks from behind the counter and says just so you know if you have to return any of this you will have to give your phone number. I should have just left the products and left the store. She was very rude. If a customer does not want to give out their personal information they don't have to. Will not be shopping this store anymore.

I normally have a very pleasant experience while shopping here. Many of the workers will greet me and ask if I have any questions on products. While checking out today, I asked the cashier a question regarding the skincare product I was purchasing. She flat out told me “Just Google it”. I was very frustrated with her reply. If you cannot answer a customers question on a product at a beauty store, then why are you working there? I understand they might not be able to answer every question on every product, but she simply did not care. So to the lady that checked me out and said this nasty reply, educate yourself on the products your store sells babe :)

I came in yesterday 7/5/23 with my little sister we sampling stuff and having fun. Out of nowhere a manager person appears and yells at us for trying a texture spray. There was no reason to be rude and embarrass us like that. We had intentions of buying it but not after being treated so rudely. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at ulta over the years and certainly do not deserve to be embarrassed and reprimanded in such manner. I didn’t realize that spray wasn’t for sampling. All that person had to do was say so instead of making a big deal over nothing.

I love how they let you bring the item back no fuss. It’s the best policy with cosmetics because you never know if you’ll break out, or if you like the way the perfume blends with you’re body chemistry. I’ve never had an issue with them except one time the manager didn’t give me a promo gift for opening up a card. But to be fair I had done it at another location the previous day. But I felt she could have had a nicer demeanor, as well as kindness. corporate said it’s a store to store policy. Westminiser tried telling me it was wrong when I asked them about a promo gift for opening a card. No one is one the same page in that respect. And it got really messy and unpleasant at the end. Weird to me

I just had the pleasure of getting my hair done at this salon this afternoon. It was my first visit. I haven’t been to a hair salon in years because my hair has thinned out so much and I am very self conscious about it. Robin was so kind and expertly cut, dried and gave me tips on how to add volume. He made me completely comfortable and I will be returning for sure!

Usually this location is great but today I was disappointed. Upon entering I was greeted but wasn’t asked if I needed help with anything, which normally I wouldn’t have minded because I usually don’t require help, but today I could have used a bit. Three employees instead stood within feet of me at the brow bar complaint about customers and the return policy. This went on for the entire 15 minutes I was in there. I’ve worked in retail, I get customers are a pain- but at least wait to complain when customers aren’t around. The young lady, Jurnee, who rang up my items was absolutely wonderful though! So kudos to her.

I visited the 1205 location yet again…yes, I’m a frequent flyer. Every time I’m in the store I’m always greeted with a warm welcome. There is one individual, I think she’s a manager?? Emily! She goes above and beyond helping to find the products you need! She always has a great attitude and clearly enjoys her job!

Give up your personal info or NO RETURNS FOR YOU!The store was clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and very helpful.My review is not a reflection on them, but on their corporate policy that I learned about during my visit. Their score would’ve been a 1 if not for the staff.While checking out I was told that I wouldn’t be able to make a return on anything purchased (even with a receipt), unless I opened an account with them and gave them my name, address, phone, email, etc.I was shocked to hear this and asked “Is that even legal?”. The cashier had no idea and honestly neither do I. Seems like there should be a consumer protection law regarding offering returns though.Unlike other shops that entice you to give up your personal info with discounts and specials for members, Ulta policy is to instead withhold basic services to extort your private information.This is an aggressively anti-consumer policy and it ensures that I won’t be shopping here a second time.

I had a makeup appointment scheduled for my daughter's Homecoming. We drove to this location because of scheduling. We have used another Ulta for event makeup in the past and have been pleased. Not so much this time. My daughter asked for smoky eyes and to cover up her acne scars. She showed the tech a photo. My daughter left Ulta in tears because the makeup looked so poorly. She looked like a drag queen. My daughter also told me that the tech used dirty brushes on her face. After paying, tipping and being charged extra for product my daughter came home and re-did her own makeup. We were both very disappointed in the experience. I do not recommend this location for makeup. The tech was very nice but sadly not very good.
