Made a reservation for a truck(at the Glen Burnie location)and paid the deposit 2 days in advance, for one they said they had available. Got a call the next day saying they didn't have a truck at all(only a van) so they checked their inventory at another location and said they had one, so transfered the deposit and info to that location.

My experience was better than the other reviewers, not too bad came in late notice with reservation rented truck for local moving .

Went to pick up a reservation at 6pm, office was locked, closed, and lights were off AT 6. Absolutely inexcusable.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! GO WITH U-HAUL This was an absolutely terrible situation. We were to pick up a 16 foot moving truck from your Washington Blvd Elkridge md location. We called to verify truck was there 15 min prior to pick up time at 9 am. They stated they didn't have the truck and it would be over an hour before they would have one. We had all of our moving help there and ready to go. They asked about taking a 12 foot truck and we agreed to take that one. At 10:30 we went to the Elkridge site picked up smaller truck - only offered us a 10% discount which is laughable. My husband got into truck proceeded to leave parking lot and realized check engine light was on. He went back in told them about check engine light and the manager said it was probably just needing an oil change and it would be ok to drive the truck 750 miles to Michigan. My husband declined and we went with U haul in Columbia md. They told us they get customers from this same site frequently. Ridiculous to think when you are ready to pack a truck and move that the truck isn't even there and they obviously didn't even turn the key on this truck or they would have Noticed check engine light on.

Reservation was cancelled less than 24 hours before pick up for a reservation made 2 weeks in advance. No resolution to fit my needs, lack of effort to make it right. Waste of time! I'm not sure how Budget is even in business with this lack of organization and customer service. Don't waste your time!
