We order Fridge, washer and dryer on June 26 with delivery on Friday July 11. On July 9, receive a text message to confirm the address and the date for delivery.
I took off from work as the window was 8 am- 8 pm (which shouldn’t be the case). On delivery day no, message came and I went online to check the status of delivery. To my surprise the delivery date showed as Monday July 21, with no communication.
Went to this store and talk to Assistant Manager Renee, who was Rude and told me she can’t give any compensation, whereas I didn’t asked for it, she told me contact Warehouse as she had to do nothing about delayed orders. I told her that I ordered the items from your store, not from the warehouse. She just listened and walked away from the counter. What a pathetic and ridiculous service by an assistant manager. Later on, I called the warehouse number, and they said they have no idea when the items will be delivered from the manufacturer. She said that manufacturers may be delivered on 12 of July or later and the July 21 delivery date is just to hold my items. So in the end, I still have no idea when the item will be delivered. Very unfriendly and poor customer services communication from Lowe’s.
If items (worth more than $3500) is not delivered by Monday, I will cancel my order and will go to Home Depot.
The items were finally delivered on July 21 after an unacceptable delay. The customer service experience was extremely disappointing—Supervisor Nora offered only a $50 compensation for the inconvenience, which hardly reflects the frustration and disruption caused. It’s unfortunate to witness such poor service and lack of accountability from Lowe’s. Given this experience, we’ve decided to take our future home improvement projects to Home Depot instead. Truly one of the WORST service experiences we’ve had with any retailer.

Very poor experience, don't shop at this store . Staff was very lazy and not competent., could not even order an appliance properly. Delivery experience was a total nightmare, stay away from this place

Had a great experience with Tess who works in appliance department at the Columbia, MD. She was very knowledgeable about the product of interest. She walked us through all the costs/options associated with a dryer we were interested in buying. She worked to get us a much lower price, compared to other merchants, and was able to get us free installation and appliance disposal in accordance with the current sale. She's a top notch employee with excellent customer service skills.

I want to give a big shout-out to Del at the Lowe’s in Columbia, Maryland for his outstanding customer service! He recently helped me with the purchase of my Stainmaster PetProtect carpet, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I had lots of questions, and Del took the time to answer every one of them thoroughly and patiently. It honestly seemed like he was always at the store—whenever I stopped by, he was there and ready to help with a professional and friendly attitude. His knowledge and availability made the entire process so much smoother. Thanks again, Del—you truly went above and beyond. Kudos to you!

Lazy lumber cutting staff
I was there on July 13 2025 between 7:15 and 7:45 African American guy first declined to cut my plywood by saying machine is not working but when I check for out of order sign there was non so I took pictures for proof and he saw me doing it so he came and cut 1 plywood and machine out of time he act like try to start just hit couple of random switches and told us machine is not working.
Do not go in last 1 of closing time because staff is just waiting to finish their time and go home as quickly as possible. He just waste 1 $45 dollars white plywood. Sorry for your loss Lowe’s!!

My wife and I had to buy two carloads of tile this afternoon in the Columbia Maryland location. We received excellent help from Kenny! Kenny efficiently found all of the pallets, helped us load the boxes into our cars and was just generally very pleasant.

they lost my pickup order then i called three times and was told the manager would contact me and they never did.. i had to call customer service and all they did was cancel the item

They delivered 6x6 fencing that wasn't mine to my house. Wouldn't come pick it up for a few days even though it's going to kill my grass. Customer service guy could care less. Then he proceeds to put me into someone at coporate who laughs at the issue. I will never buy from Lowes again. Go to Home Depot

Just wasted 30 mins of my time in the glass aisle waiting for the person who works that section. He was informed by one staff member and paged by another. No response. I asked someone else for the store manager and was told that he was "busy" in the lumber section. Ridiculous!!

Customer service at this location has continued to go downhill. When I try to find someone to answer even basic questions, I'm confronted with a long search only to find 3-4 employees milling around in a conveniently low traffic area, talking and laughing with each other, adjusting products on shelves and "looking busy" (everyone knows what that looks like). Once I find them and have an even basic question, they seem incapable of providing even minimal assistance. I don't know what your criteria are when hiring associates, but at least you could emphasize hiring people who actually work.

Customer service was lacking in the garden center today. She was all smiles and conversational with the fella in front of us but when it came our turn it felt like we did something to offend her. Just handed our receipt without a word. I regret not taking my business to our local Lowes with Habib.
