I cannot say enough good things about Beltway Office Solutions! After spending money on TWO different repair companies that couldn't figure out what was wrong with our office printer, I did some more research and found Beltway Office Solutions. I am so glad I did!
From my very first conversation with Dan, I knew this was a different kind of company. I explained what I thought might be going on with our printer, and he was wonderful to talk to. Sometimes, when you are explaining a technical issue to someone who works in IT or technical services, you can feel a little intimidated or talked down to because you don't know all the technical terminology. That was absolutely NOT my experience with Dan. He listened, took me seriously, and made me feel comfortable explaining the problem in my own words. That alone made a great first impression!
Dan sent Patrick, a repair technician, to assess the printer, and he was just as great to work with. Once Dan realized that repairing our printer would be a little more complicated, he didn't want us to be stuck without one while the repairs were being completed. So, they actually loaned us a really nice printer to use in the meantime! Once our printer was repaired, they brought it back and picked up their loaner.
But here is what REALLY blew me away: We were only charged for the initial service visit, even though they came out a total of four times! Let that sink in. After dealing with two other companies that couldn't even diagnose the problem, Beltway Office Solutions stepped in, got the job done, made sure we could continue working while our printer was being repaired, and didn't charge us for the additional visits.
That level of honesty, consideration, and customer service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized!
I also had the pleasure of speaking with Elizabeth, who is incredibly polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. She even has a joke or two to share, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. It's clear that great customer service isn't limited to just one person at this company.

“My experience started a bit slow because the showroom was crowded and I had to wait before getting assistance. Once a salesperson helped me, things improved a lot. He explained the differences between engineered wood and solid wood in simple terms, which helped me choose a study desk. The price was fair compared to other stores nearby. Delivery arrived on time, but one screw kit was missing. I called them and they sent it the next morning. The desk itself is stable and works well for daily use.”

“Whatever you're looking for whatever your need is UMBC Bookstore has it! The bookstore is a large, 2-story store within the UMBC Commons. The bookstore has a very nice selection of school materials, appeal and other odd-end items for your school needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is both outdoor and garage parking options (that cost so make sure to bring cash or credit). Holiday hours are a bit tricky.”
