I have had several appointments in the past couple of years with Sophia, and she is absolutely amazing and a true master of her work. My first appointment with her was for a haircut (layered cut), which she did a great job and at the same time, I had a good chat with her about the possibility of trying some subtle highlights on my hair. I was completely new to the world of hair colors, and she gave a really good primer on things that I could try. I got partial highlights in my next appointment with her and I was totally blown away with her work. I have been a regular customer here and would highly recommend this place. Also, I love the fact that the stylists do not change frequently at the hair station. All staff working here are very professional and friendly.

This place is outstanding!!!!!!!!!!! First, the atmosphere. It made me feel so welcomed & comfortable I could sit there all day if they let me lol. And the people!!!! So so so welcoming. Every single stylist is absolutely gorgeous & so are their personalities & attitudes! Now let’s get into Madelyn. This girl is the shizz. Literally the wizard of blonding…I came in with box dyed black on top of brown on top of bleached blonde. In just the first visit, she was already able to lighten my hair so much while still being safe & looking out for what’s best in my hair. By the second visit, even lighter. Just came back from my third visit today with a cut and more highlights and when I tell you she is a God send with her work! She gives the best advice & looks out for the safety & importance of health in your hair while still somehow perfectly prioritizing getting you blonde too. If you’re looking to go lighter, or possibly any other service PLEASE BOOK WITH MADELYN!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Tamara today for a consult. She spent time looking at/touching my hair and listening to me/asking questions. She shared her ideas with me and then began to ‘fix’ my short hair. I love it! My next appointment is already scheduled.

Extremely Overpriced ($52) for a simple shampoo and blow dry. I felt like only the front of my head what shampooed - the nape of my neck wasn't touched. For a straightforward 30 minute service I will go elsewhere.

The Hair Station is a hidden gem in Elkridge. I have been going here for a while and I am always happy with the haircut and hair color services I receive.
