As a military family, we’ve moved a number of times - this move was for my single daughter. U-Pack made it seamless and worry free. The staff at drop off was nice, accurate and most importantly on time. Upon arriving at the drop off location the company arranged with the city to block off two metered spaces in front of the apartment complex. They did all the leg work and were professional and nice about it. The driver who dropped the unit was friendly and respectful. And the unit was picked up promptly after being emptied. This was a cross county move: Vermont to Colorado. While we packed it meticulously, nothing was broken or damaged. I don’t recall a move having gone so smoothly in my life! I usually only believe reviews that are positive that also acknowledge a weakness but honestly there is nothing negative to say about our experience with U-Pack.

Moved back to NYC from Denver and had a seamless experience. Would use again and recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly move!

This process was excellent. Seamless. Customer service from the company to the movers was outstanding. Communication for pick-up and delivery was timely. The move was from MD to FL and it took less than a week. I would highly recommend.

Moved from Washington D.C. to California. My pod arrived before I did ! Within 7 days for sure. Even so, they held onto the pod until I arrived. Rather than having it delivered to my house I opted to load my pod at the local shipping center(s). This saved me a couple hundred -a good alternative if you have transportation! Tracking was provided. Would use them again regardless of the moving distance.

Really disappointing. I paid extra for “guaranteed delivery”. What they don’t make clear at the time of payment is that the date you pick can be well into the night beyond when movers will be available to help you unload. The booking should prompt you to pick the day before you actually need your items for unloading. They should also be more clear that you should be prepared to keep their trailers for a minimum of 2-3 days. If you are moving to a city area, like Baltimore, this service is extremely unreliable and your delivery will be prioritized below any other deliveries in the area. This service is better for rural areas where you have a lot of flexibility and they can just show up whenever it suits them. Clear communication and expectations would have helped make my logistics much better. Promising one thing online but delivering something else is why I am giving them 1 star.

I used 3 U-Pack Relocubes to move across the country. The whole process was clear, efficient, and a big help. Both their customer service team and the 2 delivery/pick-up drivers I encountered were professional and friendly. The good experience (combined with not having to drive my own moving truck) made the cost well worth it.

Moved from San Diego to Baltimore area. Upack gave us cheaper quotes than PODS or U-Haul, and the shipping time was quicker than the U-Haul pod system. Communication was great and the process of dropping off the pod and having it picked up was easy. We had it delivered to a local pick up site instead of a driveway drop off which lowered the price and it was very easy to schedule a time to unload the pod into a truck.

This company goes above and beyond! I moved from Minneapolis to Washington DC. While other companies were quoting me nearly 3x as much and worse service, U-Pack came thru with a much better quote and unbelievable customization for what I needed. I hired movers in Minneapolis and loaded up the truck. Four days later, u-pack arrived with my stuff ready for my Washington DC movers to unload it.
If I had one complaint (I don’t, but /if/ I did,), it would be that u-pack won’t help you on the other end of the transaction. If you’re moving to a suburb or a place with a loading dock, you’re 100% fine. I was moving into the city and needed to have parking for this semi, which proved very difficult since I didn’t yet live in the city. Even so, U-Pack worked with me to find a visible solution and ended up storing my items on the truck for a few extra days until my parking permits could take effect.
Final comment on this: on what was already a very challenging and stressful move, their dispatchers and drivers were a 6/5 stars. They were so nice and patient. I told one dispatcher the problem with parking and she said “you sound so stressed, sweetie. Don’t worry, we’ll find you a solution. Welcome to DC.” I seriously would have hugged her through the phone if I could have.

I've used U-Pack twice for cross-country moves, most recently from Baltimore to Seattle. My experience has been great! The truck and forklift drivers have been super courteous and professional, and the customer service is great with ABF in general. The ease of scheduling delivery/pickup through their website and the reasonable industry rates are both huge positives.

This is our 2nd move with UPack. We had no issues in GA or FL for pick up or drop off. Where we did have the issues is in Maryland. The driver got the cab and trailer stuck in our paved driveway after trying to go up the hill, after being asked if he could make it. The cab and trailer were stuck for over 10.5 hours. It took 2 tow trucks working over 8 hours to get him out. Our yard is destroyed. It took another week to pick up the empty trailer. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m just being told “someone will call you” in regards to our destruction. Trucks were ran over, bushes, I have multiple 50+ long ruts that are 2-4 ft deep. My driveway is cracked in multiple places. The driver never apologized just said “here’s your weight tickets.” I just want my yard fixed. We have so many items that we’re broke in the move from the slamming down from the crane and trying to get the truck and trailer out. It was emotional. Definitely not something we expected. We just want this made right.

I was overwhelmed with the options when it came to my cross-country move, but I went with U-Pack as the quote was the most reasonable and the reviews were stellar. From the start, everyone I spoke to from the company was incredibly professional and kind. Everything went as planned, and my cube arrived at the facility faster than the estimated time. I would recommend putting an air pod in the cube, as being able to track its progress gave me a lot of peace of mind! Can't recommend U-Pack enough.

This is my second time using U-Pack to the Baltimore area and once again, it was flawless. My cubes got here on the first day of the delivery window and they were able to drop off less than 24 hours after contacting me. The driver was exceptionally skilled. He was struggling with one of the cubes because it was so heavy and my driveway is tight, but he was a pro. Again, they picked up less than 24 hours after I contacted them for removal. Nothing in either cube was damaged. Would happily use them again.

I used a U-Pack Relocube to move a 1 bedroom apartment in Fort Lauderdale to Sparks, MD. The associate on the phone helped me figure out what size I would need and it was a perfect fit. It took 6 days for the transit which was perfectly fine because we didn't have a time constraint. The cost was 60% less than the moving quotes I received. Highly recommend.
