I visited the store on 9/16/25 at 6pm with a big package to drop off. The man at the store looked at me and said to me to scan it. Didn’t know where the scanner was and how for I had a big package . He said to me while mimicking,,” I told you three times”. He should have shown me how to use the scanner and where to leave the package. He seemed I should know everything,,, I was so disappointed.

This guy called Rico?? was disrespectful and have really bad attitude toward customers who comes in. Very unwilling to help and complains that I am not making it easy for him to do the job. I'm surprised this UPS location allows a guy like this that has 0 professionalism and only a complaint to keep his job that he hates so much

I came in to ship a package internationally. The last time I shipped an international package the person waiting on me was very helpful in attaching the label and customs documents. It was at this same Elkridge location. Today the person working asked twice if anyone in there was returning Amazon packages and asked that they use the kiosk. He then muttered that not everyone could possibly be mailing packages. He then saw my label and told me to scan the label and leave it. I told him it was international and he repeated himself. I walked out. Never going back to this location again!! This review probably means nothing but customer service should be better than this!

I stopped by this location today and the young man on duty was alone but was doing an outstanding job even with a small line of customers. He treated every customer the same despite the fact that it was starting to get busy.

When the store closing time is 7pm, that means 7pm. Not 6.55, not 6.52. Stop freaking showing attitude to customers for them coming in close to end of day just because you don’t want to serve customers at the end of the day. If you’re that miserable, get another job.

I would strongly avoid coming to this UPS location whenever possible. I typically visit every few weeks to return items, but my experiences here have been consistently negative, mainly due to one employee. He is often rude and unhelpful, giving confusing or dismissive answers to simple questions. For example, I once came in when the store was empty, intending to get assistance with scanning an Amazon package for a return, and he simply told me to use the kiosk while staying on his phone. On multiple occasions, I’ve also overheard him speaking poorly about other customers while they are present and asking for help, which is completely unprofessional.
The overall atmosphere is unwelcoming, and it seems customer service is not a priority. I’ve had several experiences where it took much longer than necessary to complete simple tasks, likely due to this lack of attention and courtesy. For context, this particular employee has some tattoos on his face, which makes him very recognizable. Based on my visits, I cannot recommend this location, and I would suggest going elsewhere if you want a smooth and respectful experience.

This 5 star review is for one SPECIFIC employee at this location. I came in 2 hours before closing and only one employee was working. Tai was extremely helpful working in between customers to get everyone out in a reasonable amount of time. No employee should ever have to run a store ALONE unless theyre are management. Good job Tai!

Some people come to the store to take care of their business after work. It’s not their fault if they show up 10–15 minutes before closing time—that’s part of the job. Business hours exist for a reason.
The fact that an employee speaks negatively about customers who arrive “right before the store closes at 7,” as if they’re doing it on purpose, especially while the customers are still inside the store, is just unbelievable. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard employees complain and speak badly about customers while they’re still in the store.

The worker was really rude. I had about 10 heavy boxes that were already prepared, and he insisted that I carry them, scan them at the top, and hand them to him. Then why he is getting paid?..

If there is a zero rate, I would put it zero. The worst experience ever in my life. The package was delayed and the package is no use anymore. I tried to cancel the delivery, they didn't do it. In the end it was returned, they charged us the additional $120. Do not recommend anyone use UPS anymore. The worst server every.
