It's almost impressive how bad this place is. Their waiting area is super small, they only have 5 chairs so good luck if you can't stand for long periods of time, the front staff refuse to check you in, you have to use the check-in machine, the wait can be ridiculously long, some people I asked have waited several hours, and they can be downright rude at times. Save yourself the trip. Go literally anywhere else.

In and out in 15 minutes and was able to book an appointment online just last night. The lady at the front desk is always nice. I didn’t catch the phlebotomist’s name, but he was wearing a hat and did a great job. People always have a hard time finding my veins, but he got it the first try and was super easy and pleasant to talk to.

If I could leave NO STARS, I would. Guy wearing bucket hat that took my son's blood ripped the needle from my son's arm on first attempt. He poked him, but the guy reached for a tube and when he did the excess of the butterfly needle got caught on the arm rest and it ripped from my son's arm. I was holding his arm still so it wasn't due to the fact he was moving. I had that arm locked down. The guy probably didn't fully see what would of happened since his hat could of blocked his view. Also before we even got to the room, I heard him complaining to the receptionist about " everybody wants to come in last minute, I don't get it." Well sir that's your job and we got there 20 to 30 minutes before closing so maybe stop huffing and puffing by the exit and actually finish your shift. If anyone had a nervous child don't go there. Regardless if closing time is approaching they should still be professional while on the clock.

I have been calling all day and they WILL NOT ANSWER the phone!! How the heck can you get help if they don’t answer the phone. It’s not like it would had taken more than a couple minutes to handle the issue! Need to be more professional…..hire more people if you are truly that busy or quit taking so many patients in a day!

We always go to the LabCorp Elkton, MD location as it is closer to home. Yesterday, we came back for my 10 year old son's routine lab work. It was Ms. Shy again! She is the sweetest person in that office. She is so kind and knows what she's doing. My son remembers her and also likes her as a person. She was so polite and knew how to make her patient not to get nervous. She deserves an award or perhaps, a raise? :)

I’ve called 2 times in a week (Monday and Wednesday) and never got a call back; my Appointment is Friday . I’ve left a message with my name and number As Requested on automated voice message .
I made an appointment To save time incase it’s Busy ; honestly it’s better to do than just be a walk-in but I still have Questions.
Highly disappointed .
NEW UPDATE- ladies who draw blood WONDERFUL , kind ! But I didn’t like the fact that I was told oh no we don’t answer the calls were too busy from the front desk. That’s not professional

I copied below from another review. This literally happened to me today. I checked in my husband. I had to scan in a new insurance card. It accepted it, but said to see staff after check in. When I went up to the window after she was finished with another person. She ignored me and called another person. I got out of the way for them. Then went to the window again. I told her what the kiosk said and she said she would call us up if any problems. Sat for 2 seconds then she called my husband's name.
"The front staff is rude. I was standing at the counter and she didn't even make eye contact with me and started calling other people up. I had to move out of the way. When I asked an approximate wait time, she said "there are people ahead of you". I explained that i understood i was a walk in and was asking for a guesstimate. All of the patients waiting with me stated that she was rude to them as well."
Also the waiting room is very small.

Last time I came, I waited in the car as they said I could for a text notification that they were ready for me. It was 4.5 hours and during that time I came in multiple times to which I was told that I would receive a notification when ready. Then they finally relayed that I had missed my turn.
The time before that, my son had STAT bloodwork to get done. I waited for days and called his doctor multiple times. This labcorp lost his bloodwork and stated "we never came in". I had a photo of him sitting in the chair.
Only good thing, was the Phlebotomist Kenya.
If you have an option, go ANYWHERE else.

I have been trying to get a hold of this lab corp for two days. I have left message called several times. Trying to see if they have my lab orders. On Saturday I had to contact a lab corp in Aberdeen MD to contact the one in elkton. They finally did get a hold of them and they didn’t have it that’s fine. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Since it was a weekend and I know they are busy, but now it is Monday I have been call every 15 minutes for 5 hours trying to get a hold of them. Plus leaving messages hoping they will call me back.

Rude everytime we come. Told my autistic 3 year old to stop jumping in the waiting room? As if any 3 year old is going to sit still waiting.

This place is absolutely awesome. The people are nice, they do a GREAT job, it's a nice facility, it's super convenient to make an online appointment and check-in easily either online or once you get there....I highly recommend this place.

If you're Tricare East beware! Yes, Lab Corp takes insurance but Tricare will not fully pay. Better $ to go to Christiana Care Lab as Tricare usually pays in full

Unlike some of the comments that may deter you from coming in, the service was just fine. The nurse who drew my blood was very pleasant, and the whole process apart from waiting was quick and simple. There was about a half hour wait for someone with no appointment (I've had worse waits) and the nurse took the time to make sure everything in the system was correct. My only complaints are limited parking or attempting to park off the sidewalk and that the waiting room is quite small with limited seating. Otherwise, the over experience was just fine.
