The lot is terrible to drive on and the gate is in an awkward Space to where you have to get out of your car to type in your passcode. The area in front of my spot is always wet and muddy so it makes it difficult to park there and unload It’s a little more expensive than some of the other ones, but the location is where I want it today

The manager Shannon was always polite and helpful whenever I needed help. I changed my original unit twice and she made it smooth and simple. She does an amazing job managing multiple locations at once.

My husband and I have been with CubeSmart since May 2024. Our unit is off track and we had a rate increase within the first 6 months. So, I decided to call regarding my concerns, unit being off track and to find out why the rate went up. I spoke to Shannon, the store manager (store 4468). She initially told me she couldn't speak to me because I didn't have access to the account. I insisted that I did. She placed me on hold and then returned stating that I did in fact have access. She explained that our unit price had increased because it had been 6 months and it's for grounds keeping, the gate, etc. However, there is always cobwebs all over my unit and the lock when I arrive. I'm confident to say there is no sign of grounds keeping, not even a trash can in sight (no one to empty them) and I have never seen a staff member on the unit grounds as I have at other storage companies. I expressed that we were not made aware of a rate increase. She alleged we were notified 30 days before. I began to ask if the unit is going to increase every 6 months. Shannon stated that she didn't know. I also asked was it an individual increase or an increase for all customers. Shannon answered me, as if she was irritated that I was asking questions, and stated that once again she didn't know but with a more firm tone. I explained to Shannon that her tone was unprofessional and I expressed that I had a right to ask questions as a consumer. She began to mock me on the phone, never apologizing for her tone. I asked for her manager, at that point, and she refused to put me in contact with her manager (said they would contact me), told me she couldn't give me the information to the manager or corporate (email or phone), and then proceeded to hang up on me without my concerns being addressed or resolved. I contacted the service department twice and I was told the District Manager Matthew Reeves, would contact me within 24/48 hours, I have yet to hear from him. I also was told the ticket that I opened online regarding this matter, Shannon replied to (which I didn't have knowledge of, no email reply to me) was closed. My unit is still off track and I have yet to hear from management regarding this presumptuous store manager's behavior. The manager lacks customer service skills, knowledge, and the ability to de-escalate a service call. If she hangs up on customers, what kind of example is she setting for her staff members? A poor one. I wish I would have read the reviews before choosing CubeSmart.

We had a mouse in our unit as well as left with mold on some of our furniture. The office claimed for weeks that they would refund our last month's payment due to extenuating circumstances. Nothing happened. I escalated it to the DM, he claimed it would be taken care of. Nothing happened. But don't worry, we had insurance on our unit that we could file a claim. They're a bigger joke than Cubesmart. NEVER again.

So my family is in a huge housing pickle and we needed to find an affordable storage unit so we are prepared for a hotel stay if necessary. I quickly reserved a unit online, I went in late and never having rented a unit before had no idea what to expect. Cheryl was the agent on duty in the office. Right off the bat she calmed me down lol She explained how it works and explains each and every unit size and so on. She locked the door so she could safely guide me around and show me my available options. She was insightful enough to pick one very close to the front office that met all of my needs both longer term and short term. I had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience with Cheryl, and I highly recommend both her and CubeSmart for your storage needs. The place was immaculate and clean! They have clean restrooms too which is a plus for me anyway! Ask for Cheryl when you call , or book online and go see her in the office. Pricing straight forward, no hidden fees the signing procedure for the lease was quick and easy. They took my debit card for payments too which is a plus. Some people don't use credit cards so no need to worry about this here. So far so good I'm loving my storage unit and living the customer service! Definitely recommend this place.

The customer service and ease of renting were fantastic. Unfortunately my stuff was destroyed by mice/rats. They shredded anything paper and covered everything in poop. My entire unit is sitting under my carport until every single thing is cleaned, free of poop and repacked. Horrible to have to deal with this and comprehend 2 price increases since I had moved in. I'm moving to a new facility next week

Both local and corporate employees are helpful and friendly, and the process of renting and moving in was efficient and easy. However, lack of appropriate security led me to move my stored possessions to a different company's facility after only 3 weeks.The facility backs onto MARC tracks, and the entire rear section of it is concealed from view.But there are NO SECURITY CAMERAS observing the hidden area.I came out to get a couple of things from my unit, and discovered that thieves had cut through the back fence, pried open 5-7 units with some sort of power equipment, and rifled through them.The doors were damaged and contents of the units left exposed to the weather.Since there aren't any cameras, CubeSmart had no idea it had happened until I called them & reported it.My unit was further towards the front, and thankfully hadn't been broken into, but I got my things out of there ASAP!!
