Wawa is an all-day, everyday convenience store in Elkton, MD. It offers freshly brewed coffee, delicious built-to-order food and beverage options, competitively priced fuel, and so much more. Customers can start the day with a hot Sizzli breakfast sandwich, get a freshly made hoagie for lunch, or find crave-worthy dinner options. The food selections are great, including pre-made wraps and salads, breakfast burritos, subs, paninis, burgers, and pizza. The store also has smoothies in many different flavors, from fruits to cappuccinos and lemonades. The staff is often described as super sweet, friendly, and exhibiting great customer service skills, with employees noted for being patient and helpful. The store is mostly clean, and ordering food and checking out is fast and easy, though self-checkout only accepts cards. However, the location faces issues with beggars, vagrants, and drug addicts frequently outside, which makes some customers uncomfortable and untrusting of the environment. Despite this, Wawa remains a popular spot for its wide variety of food, drinks, and convenience items.
There was a fire today at my address and a couple of employees from Wawa came by to distribute coffee, lemonade, iced tea for those of us that were affected, as well as the first responders. It’s so nice that a local business would take the time out to do that.
