Use to be one of my favorites but it's just a low stocked and crowded as most others. I'll just stick to Target. The parking lot is terrible as well.

I dunno why this location has such low stars but I went here for the first time and it was clean and neat. Definitely prefer over the Columbia location!

Standard super Walmart. Clean enough and stocked enough. Lines move fast. Staff is courteous.

It's a Walmart guys...so don't expect an overly fancy experience. But that being said, it's one of the few Walmart's that seems to carry organic produce so it's our choice grocery store for the area

We come to this Walmart pretty often during the weekends to do some small shopping. This Walmart is busier, but also gives off a more welcoming vibe due to location. There used to be a McDonald's in there as well, but I think it closed throughout the pandemic unfortunately. This is a supercenter so it basically has all your typical Walmart items with the grocery store component that includes the deli, bakery, dairy, meat, etc. Parking is not a problem because the parking lot is huge. The parking lot also offers EV charing for EV vehicles as well. It can get pretty busy on the weekends as we typically park pretty far, but walking further is not that big of a deal to us. There is never really a limited selection since you are in Walmart and they are never really limited in stocks. They often have long lines but the self-check out line actually moves pretty quick despite it being visually long. There is usually a staff member there managing it and keeping the line moving by helping people who aren't moving through as smoothly. They also provide wipes and hand sanitizer by the front door due to COVID-19. There is security at the front door managing people in and out. Sometimes it looks like they check receipts but we never really got check before. Maybe that is because we usually only buy a handful of items. Since this location is in Ellicott City, they do charge you 5 cents for a bag now so bring your own bag to save that money!

DON'T SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO TO JAIL!!!! I have over the years shopped at plenty of Walmart stores in Maryland. I live in Owings Mills and my mother lives in Baltimore city. My husband and I decided to take my elderly mother to this particular Walmart to avoid the ghetto Walmart in Catonsville. Our shopping experience started off okay. However, like many other customers on here complained of not being able to get any assistance from Walmart employees. My mother wanted to purchase an air conditioner and I scanned the barcode through my Walmart app on my phone and it kept saying the item was out of stock. No this is not true because I'm a actually scanning the barcode on the air conditioner box. I told my mother I was going to go find a store employee to assist us. After ten minutes of walking around I finally found a male employee who said he would have someone called to help us, never happened so we left the air conditioner since we couldn't get a price on it and it was way to heavy to lift. We continue to shop and noticed the store was filthy and poorly stocked. We got a few items and headed to self-checkout. This heavy-set angry black woman looks my mother and I up and down as we're waiting in the self-checkout line. So my mother and I see some self-checkout stations open. We wait for the employee to say "oh you can go to station number whatever." This never happens. I then proceed to politely ask the employee if self-checkout number one was open and she nods her head yes ( couldn't verbally open her mouth). My mother looked at me and said "what's wrong with her?" I said "ma I don't know, but let's just ring our stuff up and go." We began self-checkout and had an issue with one item scanning. No problem this Indian looking male employee came right over and politely helped us. We continued to ring our merchandise up and had another problem scanning an item. My mother said "the Indian looking guy is no longer around, but the black girl who was looking us up and down is looking at us struggling to scan this one item." I said "are you serious?" She refused to come offer us some help after watching me struggle to scan an item. I turned around and asked for some help from her. As she's walking towards us she yells " YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY IT LIKE THAT!" As she got in arms reach of me, I asked her to repeat herself to me and she wouldn't. What this lady failed to know is that I'm a female TRAINED boxer and would have SERIOUSLY hurt her. Not too mention she's way out of shape. All my mother could do was shake her head. As my husband pulled up to the front door with the car my mother began to tell my husband of the incident. My husband said "thank God you took the high road because you would have seriously hurt her." People, watch who you talk to and the manner in which you talk to people in. This could have been extremely ugly. I am a black woman myself, but it's such a shame how we treat one another. To SOME of the employees at this particular Walmart...your customer service sucks! Please change your attitude towards your paying customers or go find another job where you are NOT working with the public. I get some customers are extremely rude and difficult, but that was not my mother and I. We were extremely polite and are happy-go-lucky people. This particular woman looked extremely unhappy to be at work. Her name tag was turned around so I couldn't get her name to file a complaint. I still think I can work around that fact though. People, please patronize another Walmart because this Walmart will possibly have you in handcuffs after hurting one of their employees. This message is to the heavy-set black girl with the braids and all them bracelets on your arm that worked self -checkout yesterday around 5pm or so, you better be glad I know God because baby you would have been carted out of that Walmart by some EMT's. I will also advise you to lose some weight. After all

3 cashier's. 10 stands to take cash. 8 or more people in each line. Nobody was outside getting shopping carts the cart area was completely empty. Guess Walmart is having trouble keeping staff.

Worst experience ever! They wasted an hour and 15 minutes of my time sitting outside in 80° weather. I placed my order yesterday and received a email saying that my order was complete and ready for pick up. I checked in as they asked me to and then I drove to the store and called the number and they said they would be right out. All the cars around me you got service left more Cain got service left I'm left sitting there. I asked the associate what was going on with my order they said they did not have a Order for me and I would have to come back tomorrow and drive again from Ellicott City to Sykesville waste more gas and sit there longer. They won't offer me any compensation whatsoever customer service the best they can do is cancel my order and give me my money back with no conversations for everything I've been through when this was all totally their mistake!

I appreciate that there is so much civilization in Ellicott City. I was in the area to pick up an item from Home Depot and needed to grab a few items from Walmart (groceries and not) and it was quick to get there. I was disappointed that some of the items I needed were out of stock, such is the COVID life though. Otherwise, the selection of items was vast and the store wasn't jam packed on a Sunday morning, which was suprising.

Was cussed at and almost attacked by a grocery cart clerk who screamed to the top of her lungs at the point where security needed to be called on her. general manager nowhere to be found..called corporate to file a formal complaint..customers should not have to deal with employees who behave in such a disgusting manor in front of employees and customers

Never answers the phone. In a world with COVID and trying to minimize exposure by attending the store, I tried calling on various days to place a bakery order to no avail. Not one department answered the phone on any day that I've called. Ridiculous!

I was pleasantly surprised with my trip to Walmart today. Every grocery store is out of meat, I guess people are nervous about another shutdown. But this location's meat section was basically fully stocked. They even had meats that regular grocery stores do not carry. Lamb, bison, swordfish anything you can think of, they had it. This location was busy, which is expected for this time of the year. Carts were few and far in between and I know that the capacity is well over 25%, but I guess you really can't control that time of thing during this time of year. I am not even sure if big box stores are required to follow the capacity rules. I just say, this is by far my favorite Walmart and now that I see their meat selection is pretty expansive, I will be coming here more often! Mask up and be safe!

In this pandemic, the shelves are sometimes empty of popular items but employees are stocking as fast as they can. The employees are as helpful and respectful as customers are to them. We are lucky to have this one stop store in our area. I do most of my shopping there

Called the store about 5 times because I had a question to ask about an item they had in stock and no one picked up. I called all different departments and there was no answer. I then later talked to a cashier about it and he said that "no one picks up the phone". Walmart needs to be more professional!

I enjoy coming to this Walmart over any. It has a real smooth flowing atmosphere. The shelves are pretty stocked when I go on Saturdays at about 7am ish. I get in and get out pretty quickly. Seems to be clean as well.
