The Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City is the best daycare our son has ever attended! The teachers are exceptional, and we've watched our son thrive and grow in this nurturing environment. Communication and transparency have been outstanding, with all our questions and inquiries addressed promptly. The staff is warm and friendly, clearly passionate about working with children. As parents, we always strive to find a safe, nurturing place for our kids, and this academy has felt like a second home for our son. We've tried numerous daycares due to moving and other circumstances, and this has been by far the best program we've encountered. While we are sad to be leaving, we are deeply grateful for the positive experience our son has had here.

We love Kiddie Academy Ellicott City! We've seen huge improvements in our 4 year old boy's fine motor and emotional regulation skills in just 2 months, and our daughter 2 loves to sing songs, count, and talks about her new friends every day. Ms. Faiza and Ms. Michelle are the warmest people, sending detailed updates and videos/photos daily of our little girl. Ms. Jess and Ms. Bono are on top of all the energy in the 4's room and there's always a fun activity, from yoga to STEM to art, going on. Our kiddos are provided nutritional snacks and lunch, everyone knows their names including outside their classrooms, and there's even a resident pet, Alphie the sweetest dog. We've been to a few other care settings due to moves that were great, but this is hands down our favorite. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I are really happy with the quality of care our son receives at the Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City. Our son loves going to school everyday and always has a smile on his face when I pick him up at the end of the day. This is a testament to the teachers and teachers aids that are so attentive and engaging to each child in his class. Ms. Faiza and Ms. Michelle are doing a wonderful job in the young 2's class, they are so patient with my son and have really helped him grow and keep him engaged with great activities. Education is really important to my husband and I, and I think the teachers are doing a great job providing my son with activities that help him develop and meet his milestones. The teachers and directors have always been communicative about how he's doing, events, and anything else we need to be aware of. They have always been willing to answer any questions we have from the interview to present day. Thank you for everything you all do! We appreciate it :)

We love our son at Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City . Excellent engaged staff. Great teachers. Extends beyond mere attendance; It represents a sense of belonging to a community and a family. Highly recommend.

Kiddie Academy of EC is a fantastic and extremely diligent educational Care Center for our little ones. From the point of our initial interview/meeting up to now, my spouse and I have been satisfied with not only the quality of care our children receive, but the communication and attentiveness of staff and teachers. In addition to a quality education, one very important aspect for me, is the overall communication between staff and teachers and families. I've been extremely satisfied with the communication, especially in regard to events, incidents, or every day interaction. My children are happy and learning, and we are happy with their continuing success, and the team that supports them. Highly recommend.

Our son has been at Kiddie Academy for the last 6 months and we have been extremely happy! He loves going in every morning and his teachers, Ms. Linh, Ms. Aryne, Ms. Maddy are all wonderful! They are always kind, patient, upbeat, pleasant, conscientious and caring towards our son and have really helped him grow both academically and socially. They always keep him engaged with fun activities including science, art, dance, yoga programs. The curriculum is great and we have been amazed by how much our son has learned already! They are the best teachers!!!
The atmosphere at the school is excellent - we are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome at pickup and drop off time from everyone at the front - particularly Ms. Malika and Ms. Amanda (plus more)! They always know how our son’s day has been and love if I call in to check on him. They are very responsive to any questions. The school organizes lots of community activities to include the whole family!
We highly recommend Kiddie Academy!!

We have been with Kiddie Academy since last summer. Our child has fairly serious healthcare needs, and we've been so impressed with the dedication that the teachers and administrators have shown. From learning our child's signs of distress to engaging them/making treatment fun, it has been a relief to know they're in such good hands. Additionally, the teachers have done an amazing job instructing our kiddo (and the other children, who range in developmental abilities) on gross and fine motor skills, reading, counting, writing, and using critical thinking. Ms. Aryne, Ms. Linh, and Ms. Maddy especially go above and beyond every day. Our child always appears so cheerful at pickup. This is why good childcare is crucial: it supports families and communities. We happily recommend KAE.

KA of Ellicott City has exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The dedication of the staff to our children's development is unparalleled. We love the curriculum, and the love and care shown to our children make it feel like a second home. We are so impressed with the school that we are okay with driving a long distance to ensure our children receive the best care and education. Choosing KA has been one of the best decisions we've made for our family.

My daughter was enrolled at Kiddie Academy from ~20 months until ~3 years old. There are some great things about it and also some things that really need some work/attention.Pros:-very loving and committed main teachers- we had really great experiences with several teachers that my daughter had- they were loving and caring and seemed really committed to the kids-all the main teachers in the school and the admin staff knew my daughter and most knew us even if they hadn't directly cared for her-the food was really wonderful and a huge burden off of us as parents-they arranged some really nice activities for the kids/parents for things like Christmas, Mother's Day, etc-nice facility- was generally clean and nicely kept, cute decorations/crafts aroundCons:-cost is significantly higher now than surrounding centers and the bump in cost happened without much of a heads up-the activities/curriculum were less creative than I would have liked- they did a TON of worksheets each day in the 2-2.5yo classroom which felt repetitive and a little unnecessary to me-the main issue we had was a total lack of transparency with parents- examples: they decided to change the opening/closing times of the school with 2 weeks notice to parents and the reasons for doing so were extremely unclear and frankly dishonest at times (they ended up rescinding this decision after parental pushback), admin refused to provide/post names of the helping teachers/aides that were in my daughter's classroom stating that it was for the privacy of the teachers/aides (in my opinion, that level of privacy is not appropriate when you're caring for my child- I only asked for first names to go with faces), the sudden increase in cost with very little notice, moving kids to other classes during the day without informing parents and telling teachers not to photograph them during those times-I'm a Pediatrician and felt that there were a few times that I noted safety concerns that I thought reflected overall poor judgement- examples: whole grapes fed to 2 and 3 year olds, loose tiny magnets in the classrooms with young toddlers, babies propped on boppy pillows or with bottles propped in their mouthsOverall, we loved several of our daughter's teachers so much that I'm sad to write this review but want to provide honesty to other parents looking at this center and others in the area. At the end of our time there, I unfortunately couldn't trust the owners/management and that was a deal-breaker for me and my family. I also was bothered by the fact that there were occasional incentives for leaving reviews which I think is why there are so many 5 star reviews personally.

Could not be happier with our decision to go with Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City! The staff is incredible! the teachers are so sweet, energetic and very patient with the kids. They follow the education curriculum and our little one is learning so much there. Lots! of updates throughout the day through the app. Special thank you for the 2's class teachers, they are exceptional! Management is very kind and communicates very well. The facility is extremely clean and the weekly food options are excellent and healthy! Overall, we feel like we were accepted to the KAEC family and cant thank everyone enough for what they do every day with so much care and love!

My son Kevin has been in KA Ellicott City since 2019. He enjoyed every day there with the teachers and all his friends. Everyone in the facility is nice and friendly. He learned so many things to be ready for his coming kindergarten school. We would like to thank all of the teachers and staff at KA Ellicott City for their efforts and supports during the pandemic!

Could not have imagined a better place to send our child! The teachers and staff are the most caring, genuine, loving people and treat all of the children like their own. It’s more of a local community family type feel compared to many of the other daycare providers I’ve seen which feels more corporate. Every morning and afternoon the staff welcomes us into the doors with a smile and friendly face. They knew all of our names on day 1. Just one small example of how they make us feel special and comfortable.
