My blood work tech was unreasonably rude. All I did was tap my finger a bit and be nervous and she starts yapping about how I’m getting on her nerves. Okay then quit?

Professional, efficient and the phlebotomist was one of the best I've ever had and I have a phobia of needles. I also need blood tests done regularly so I've experienced a LOT of phlebotomists.

Easy online appointment. Online check in was simple. The phlebotomist was quick, efficient, and friendly. The procedure was almost painless.

Do not go to this center. Appointment was given at 8:10 am and nobody was available in the quest.

This was my first time at this particular Quest location and it was perfect. I rarely have a less than perfect experience at a Quest lab. Well done!

I took my 2.5 year old to get her blood drawn and the ladies there were phenomenal. They were very competent and helped guide us through the process. My daughter was not happy about getting her blood drawn but they were quick and made the experience a lot easier than I had anticipated. I would definitely recommend them for anyone bringing in their small child to have blood drawn.

I brought my 1 year old here for his lab work, after being turned away by a flustered phlebotomist at another Quest location. We had made an appt and they took us right on time, and were wonderful with my son. He didn't even know anything was happening, didn't flinch or cry, and we were in and out. It was such a relief, and I was grateful that this was not a traumatic experience for us.

Super hot in there, no AC. Everyone is next to each other. No space for distancing. Low on staff. No way to ask questions as in the others location. I don’t like when my doctor send me to QD.

Horrible experience. My first time here and I hope never to come back. I had to get a pre-employment test and I was told to pee and that I only have 4 minutes. They didn’t let me get water so of course I couldn’t go. Then they told me I have to wait 45 minutes and can’t leave. They said I couldn’t even go to my hair appointment across the street and then come right back. This service here is awful.

Terrible, mean, nasty receptionist. She needs to change jobs to the morgue so she isn't around live people. Couldn't get any straight answer out of her about a couple of simple questions i asked. Ordered me to room 1 where she jabbed the hell out of me and punctured through the other side of the vein. I've been in the military and would rather deal with a Drill Sgt.

Highly recommend the Ellicott City Quest! After 37 years of being a very difficult stick, I have finally found the lab that is AMAZING to get blood draws from! I have been there twice and both times they were able to get an insane number of vials (22!) in just one stick! (Other places have needed to stick me 9 times). Thank you to Ian and Hope who are phenomenal phlebotomists! Very professional, competent, detail-oriented and talented at what they do!I arrived, checked in on their iPad and was seen almost immediately. After carefully checking the lab order, they worked quickly and painlessly, and tried to help me stay relaxed and even laughing while they drew blood. I was shocked to be in and out in 15 minutes! They are miracle workers here! I will make sure that all my future labs are done here.

DO NOT GO HERE. Sketchy service, technician asked for non-existent email confirmation (I showed him the one I had, which apparently wasn’t the ‘right’ one) and then said to pay him $100 dollars (I didn’t). Later they confirmed I was in fact registered and did the test. Very dirty, disorganized, chaotic in the hallway where they do the testing and more importantly, we are still waiting on our (now redundant) PCR test from a week ago.

I just went to the Ellicott City location at 9055 Chevrolet Dr Suite 101 and experienced the worst blood draw I have ever had. The tech, with no warning, jabbed me so hard with the needle that I let out a cry and felt an electric shock up and down my arm but she said nothing and continued the blood draw. Now I have a large blue swollen circle on the inside of my elbow where she punctured incorrectly, that I have taken photos of. I have numbness in my wrist and could have permanent nerve damage. I have NEVER experienced this in the many times my blood has been drawn. To make matters worse when I asked if it was normal to feel as if my vein had been shocked she told me “there are no nerves right there”, which after a simple search I found out the tech had lied to me. This tech should not be allowed to draw blood, and it is clear from the reviews that they have done this before, do not go to Quest and risk getting nerve damage!!!

Today this morning, I went to Ellicott City location for the blood work. I had very unpleasant experience with a technician who drew the blood. I expressed my concerns and asked her name to post the review about her She inteo9her by the name "Hope". She was very rude and did not follow the health safety protocols during this pandemic situations. If I decide to come to Quest diagnostics for my blood work in future, I will ask for other technician. I would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this technician.

Stood in line for an hour to get a Covid test. After confirming via telephone AND in person once I got there that they ARE taking walk-ins and our paperwork would be brought to us in line, I was then told I could not be seen today because I didn't register and they were not taking walk-ins. Wasted my day thanks to this poorly run operation. The nurse was also very rude.
