I actually rented a car for a total of 4 weeks. I extended my rental weekly. The last time I extended thru the the customer service the employee did not do their job. So my extension wasn't recorded. So unknowingly I was put on a repo list and when I went to turn the vehicle in after being told I had to come back in to resign a contract being over 30 days so I reserved another car. Just in case . I was told I was on a DO NOT RENT list and they wanted to charge me $1000 above my fee for a repo they didn't do. I have more facts and proof. Just want to give the best idea of how I was treated . I felt like a criminal, I had to get Lyft home. I went and rented another vehicle elsewhere. I'm waiting for my insurance to settle my payoff so I can buy a new car. I'm also going to file fraud for the $1000 charge they put on my credit card . For a bogus repo that they did not do. It's not over. DO NOT RENT

This is the ONLY Avis/Budget I’ll ever rent from ! Although it took several days for me to finally get into a vehicle , it wasn’t the employees’ fault . Between technical errors with Avis/Budget systems & miscommunication of accepted forms of payment , Phoebe stuck in there with me the entire time & went beyond the extra mile to make sure things worked out in my favor in the end . If the awesome family atmosphere doesn’t lock you in , the astonishing customer service definitely will . Everyone has a unique experience with everything we tackle in life , but it’s ultimately our personal perspective of things . Instead of focusing on the 15 bad things that happened during my experience (because of Avis & Budget , not the staff) , I’d rather focus on the 5 great things (because of the staff) . Negative feedback isn’t always necessary & some of these comments are absolutely absurd ! I can’t believe I went to the same place as some of these people which makes me think it was more their fault than they’re owning up to . The staff here is wonderful , they provide excellent service & help any way they can . Anyone reading this , please don’t allow someone else’s “bad day” to determine your choice of this location . A “nice , well mannered” individual isn’t going to have the same experience as a “disrespectful or ignorant” individual may have . Im just saying ?♀️ lol . Keep up the good work team ! You’re doing GREAT ! ?

No messing with them, no haggling on extras, they supplied me with an upgrade over what I'd booked and I'd thoroughly recommend them.

I should have payed attention to the negative reviews, I would give negative stars if I could. I was charged a late fee on my corporate card when I returned the vehicle as scheduled. The owners are unreasonable. When I said I would leave a review I was told “good.” No concern whatsoever! Bad customer service. I do not recommend this location. The rental company up the street is more reliable. I will take my business elsewhere.

I scheduled a reservation in the morning, The customer service agent contacted me on 6/22/2023 @ 3:40 pm to say they will be canceling my reservation for tomorrow at 8 am. After I informed her that this has happened over 5 times with my family and this location. She hung up on me, I tried calling back she let the phone ring until you received the voicemail. This location is unorganized and very trashy unprofessional people who work there. I will be telling everyone not call or book this location.

If i could put zero stars i would. dealt with this location two days in a row 1st day i canceled my reservation due to them not having my vehicle then tried to give me something smaller plus $250 deposit 2nd encounter(next day) made another reservation go to pick up the vehicle an was told they didn't have any vehicles when plenty were parked outside. Entire experience was very very u professional. Only a matter of time for this location to close for good

Had me in a rental within just a few minutes of arriving. The proprietor helped me as I was injured from a car accident. She brought the paperwork to me. She helped me to my car. Thank you so much! Avis

Great location. Both ladies were great to deal with and very accommodating. I wouldn’t use another rental service moving forward. Highly recommend this location in particular.

I made a reservation on October 21st for a full size SUV. I was called from the Fallston, MD location this morning and they informed me that the vehicle I reserved was not available, instead they had a minivan. I asked what options I had, after checking with other locations the sales person told me I would need to pick up the Minivan in Fallston and travel to BWI to exchange the Minivan for the SUV. I asked the sales person in Fallston if they were sure that BWI had the vehicle I wanted, they said yes. I reconfirmed this in person when I picked up the minivan.I also visited the Avis Web site, I searched for availability for a full size SUV (expedition or similar) and the site indicated that there was availability.I traveled to BWI after picking up the minivan, a 40 minute ride. When I arrived at BWI of course no SUV was available, I was offered another minivan. I told the clerk that the online site indicated that SUV's were available. To quote the clerk "Online lies all the time". Needless to say I was less than happy. After accepting the minivan (thinking I had no other option) I walked the lot and saw multiple Explorers on the lot. I went back and after talking to the clerk I switched to the Explorer( again not the vehicle I reserved). All in all a terrible customer service experience. I then traveled home, another wasted hour.

***If your African American please take pictures and record if you come here***I went into Avis due to my long relationship with enterprise because they were out of cars. First time at Avis when I entered, I was the only customer it took the representative 5 minutes to assist me. She wasn’t quite pleasant.I signed all paperwork. Gave them to her at this point there were other customers all bring Caucasian in. She yells and says to me you didn’t sign this. I stood there and she finds what I so called didn’t sign. She could have looked first. she took me to a truck that was dirty had scratches a lot of sticker residue. She had a lot of nicer cars. The additional driver I had stated why did we get this dirty truck. She rushed me to look around the car I never experienced this with enterprise. I took pictures of everything as well as the fuel gauge.I brought the car back I took a video so I wasn’t accused of not being there on time due to their late policy. She turns the car on and yells I had it on a full tank. I knew she discriminated against me so I told her you did not I have a picture. Her attitude changed and said oh I trust you thankfully I had this picture.The additional driver with me overhead her tell an Asian and Caucasian lady who by the way came there due to enterprise not having cars. I gave you our best car. So I got a beat up scratched up car for 100 a day? I WILL NEVER go back to Avis I was discriminated against the entire process.

New Owners n great customer services. Don't look at any bad reviews from previous owners this people are fantastic n prices are sooo good to go for what it is out in the rental industry. Anyways rent rent rent. Also 90% times they have rentals just call n put in reservations

Very dissatisfied with this service!! They don't accept a lot of credit/debit cards and the women that were there were very unprofessional and kept trying to get my girlfriend and I out there door cause they were closing. What kind of blasphemy is this?!?! That's okay we will go right down the street to your competitor to Enterprise where I know they will not only accept my debit card but have the upmost respect and professionalism!! Highly do not recommend this place!! Want a rental?! Go to Enterprise Rent-a-car!!

I've always had a good experience with this location and use them pretty frequently. They've always called if they were not able to fill my reservation and been helpful when I needed a car last minute.
