Why even have a bank if you don’t want to deal with or help your members? It’s pathetic. These people have no one to answer to which means they treat you how they want and simply do not give a shit. From the highest manager to the lowest employee, you will find nothing but uncaring disconnected people

I've been banking with APGFCU for over 10 years now. Its not as great as it use to be. They just now got Tap to Pay (last bank to get it) they use to not charge ATM fees, now they do. Interests rates on savings are pretty low. They have a High Yield Savungs account but that requires minimums. APGFCU is more of a big bank now and less of a Credit Union.
Also if you live outside of Harford County, best bank elsewhere due to lack of branches outside Harco.
Customer service however has always been great. Real people to deal with and no AI

APGFCU reached out to me in Houston Texas during Hurricane Beryl to offer assistance, acknowledging my relocation to a new state and potential hardships I may encounter financially. I am a longtime customer of APG and though I am not in need of such assistance, I think it’s cool that even thousands of miles away they’re looking out for customers. Kudos

Dylan was an absolute pleasure to work with! He helped me with financing our Rv, vehicle loan, and setting us up with a checking account. He was very knowledgeable about everything and answered all my questions. Highly recommend working with him!!

My experience with Dylan was wonderful. He was very patient, responsive, and, organized. Dylan’s knowledge of the financial industry helped me better understand my finances. He assisted me with opening a checking account and a safe deposit box. I highly recommend Dylan for all your financial services.???

From a lot of reviews I’ve noticed the number 1 complaint is how bad the customer service is at this branch. It is also my complaint too, i didn’t get the bank tellers name but she was extremely rude. This woman wasn’t even the bank teller we were working with when she rudely interrupted the conversation that i was having with a very nice young gentleman that was actually helping us. But to give a little background I’m not even an account holder at APG my boyfriend is. I was just in there with him. My boyfriend was kindly explaining to the nice gentleman that his mom is also an account holder and has been for a long time. He also added that what he was trying to get resolved his mom ran into the same issue. His mom was able to get the issue resolved with her account months prior at a different branch and he tried explaining the way that branch resolved the issue. That is when the woman rudely interrupted as she was helping another customer and said “does your mom work here?!?”in a very snotty way. It was obviously a smart remark. I then laughed at the audacity of this woman and my boyfriend even said to her that was a smart remark that wasn’t needed. He was being very kind like always so I’m not sure why the woman thought she needed to say that to him in the tone of voice she had. After my boyfriend kindly said something about her smart remark that wasn’t needed that is when she back tracked and tried to make herself sound as if it was a genuine question when we both knew it wasn’t because of her tone of voice. I was honestly blown away by this because i also work in customer service and would never treat a customer with that kind of disrespect. This was my first and last time i will walk into that branch and i will never see myself having an account with APG because of that bank teller. Even my boyfriend is definitely moving to a better bank that will hopefully take better care of their customers and respect them. This branch has been in the area for a long time i would expect it to have the best customer service but obviously not.

Customer service by phone is horrible, you will be on hold for hours and people who you speak with are rude, unhelpful and have an attitude, don't want to help with any questions you have, very bad customer service. And don't even try to make sense of their online banking. It's a joke. Bank somewhere else, anywhere else but this institution, save yourself some time, money and stress.

The worst experience with a "local" bank I have ever had. Had an appointment with one of their account managers regarding my new truck loan. The paperwork needed to be signed by my wife, no big deal. I returned the paperwork 2 days later with the correct signatures and a voided check from an outside bank account. I dropped the paperwork off, was told everything was good and they would submit my paperwork. 1 week later my loan had not been updated. I called customer service, they assured me everything was all good, they were just waiting for the paperwork to process. Well...the paperwork was lost along with my voided check. When I called Customer Service again, they spoke directly with the Forest Hill Branch Manager Karen and she indicated there was no paperwork. Customer Service recommended I call Karen directly to resolve the issue. Karen Tucker was the most rude and unprofessional manager I have ever interacted with. She claimed I never brought the paperwork in, I was lying and even if they "had lost the paperwork" there was no important information on the paperwork. When I asked her about my account # and bank routing # being on the check, she laughed and said " that was no big deal". Karen finally agreed to send me the paperwork again so I could resolve the issue. After emailing the paperwork to her, I asked for a simple reply that the paperwork was received and the changes to the loan had been made. That email was sent on 4/26, still no reply. Unfortunately, with interest rates being so high, I have to continue my loan through APGFCU. However, once they drop, I will be moving lenders and never using APGFCU for anything ever again. Other branches may be better, but the Forest Hill APGFCU is the last bank I would ever use!!

Sent in extra money on my payments and they put it in a savings account vs against the loan. They said they didn't know I wanted it put against the loanha ha ha what a joke....but is gets worse....try reaching them on the phone....IMPOSSIBLE on hold for 60 min....at 61 min....disconnected automatically ....multiple times so it was not glitchSo I went to the closest branch which is 15 miles away.....they had the balls to tell me I needed an appointment to talk to them ( fall of 22) I told them they don't answer the phone so how do you make appointment .....blank stare.....I said I expect an answer to your question .....

Only bank I know that has an app that doesn’t update in live time. You could make transactions days ago and your account won’t show it at all (not even as Pending) causing you to overdraft if you’re not careful or not paying attention (doing the math yourself). Their appointment hours stopping at 3pm on weekdays is also unacceptable since most working people aren’t off work until 4-5pm. It was a great experience to be helped immediately when applying and becoming a member but literally only because their response time was quick. Outside of that, not too comfortable at all and doubt I’ll be keeping my money here.

Credit card was declined and I was never contacted, even though it had 15,000 on it that had never been touched. I call they have no idea why it was declined and 'sorry' is their help. Unprofessional
