I just had an installation of a gas stove purchased at Best Buy by a third party company.
I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH MY INVOLVEMENT AND SERVICE BY AYS-AT YOUR SERVICE!!!
FITO AND HIS HELPER, DOUGLAS WERE WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL, KIND, EFFICIENT!!! VERY TRANSPARENT AND HONEST!!!
I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN IF EVER I NEEDED!!!!
The encounter at Best Buy was a mess. No information given to me by the INFANT Worker.

I bought an oven from Costco, and once I saw that the assigned installer was AYS, I was very hesitant due to the bad reviews. However, Matt and his crew showed up and did a great job of removing the old oven and installing the new one. We encountered a minor issue because there wasn't enough clearance (depth) in the cabinet, which they explained they were not allowed to make significant modifications to. They gave me the option of cancelling the order and purchasing a different oven, or calling another contractor to handle the modification and installation. They were honest and informative, genuinely wanting to assist within the boundaries of their company policy.
In the end, I decided to cut out the plywood myself to create more depth, which was a bit messy but manageable for me. I can't imagine older or less handy people attempting it on their own; it would have been quite a headache.

i bought a dishwasher from costco, got worried when i saw these bad reviews, I was ready to do the installation myself. But Mike D is the best!!! better than my previous costco appliances installs. He takes his time to install every piece and level every side. If u have a choice, pick Mike.

I ordered 3 separate appliances from Best Buy and AYS was the assigned installer. It's been over 2 months and they have constantly rescheduled and cancelled appointments with less than a day's notice. Best Buy was great to deal with, but this company has essentially held thousands of dollars in appliances hostage. If they can't keep appointments, I wouldn't trust them with repairs or installs. I've cancelled their install appointments and will be installing it myself at this point. Look elsewhere, and I hope best buy cancels their contract soon.

Abysmal communication trying to coordinate delivery of a new dryer from Best Buy. First they canceled 2 days before delivery (scheduled for Dec 23rd) "because of the holiday", then canceled the second delivery because the forecast called for rain, then canceled the 3rd delivery 3 days before the appointment date because "customer wasn't home to receive delivery." Can't imagine staying in business with such poor customer service.

Installation was part of a Costco gas range purchase. The team was up front about the cost of fitting the LP conversion kit (makes sense, it's extra work, but it was reasonably priced) and the WSSC permit fee (an unreasonable tax for nothing that MoCo and PG have authorized WSSC to collect, but also not anything AYS or Costco can control... just the cost of living in Maryland, but I digress). The installer let me know he was on his way, arrived on time, and completed the installation swiftly and professionally. He even moved our old range to our garage, so I could donate it. The quality of the work was outstanding. The stove was level, well fitted, and the installer let me know to burn off the oven for 30 minutes, which was a good thing because I hadn't thought of it, and it'd have been a upsetting surprise to ruin my first dish by subjecting it to the burn-off odors from the new appliance. Costco's terms state that LP conversion won't be done by their installers, so I had expected to need to find an installer on my own. I'm so glad they contracted with AYS, because I wasn't having any luck finding someone willing to do the work for a reasonable price. Based on this experience, I will definitely call AYS first for any other appliance work. Thank you!

Denny and Brandon were extremely friendly, and provided excellent service for the installation of a dishwasher I purchased for my son and daughter-in-law from Best Buy. So many things went awry from the purchase to the delivery and removal of the old appliance that I was concerned how the installation would go. These two gentlemen arrived on schedule and knew exactly what was to be done, quickly installed the item and made sure it was working correctly before they left. They definitely provided GREAT service (level 10, for sure).

Costco used this service for our Costco purchase of a dishwasher. Selvan was on time and did a great job. About an hour to haul away and install. He also explained how it was installed in case we had any questions. We are very happy with this service.

I had mixed experiences with this company. I had every appliance replaced in my house, so I had some experience with AYS. I met some sloppy installers, average installers who did a ok job, and one really good installer. I found the installer Little Chris was one of the best. I started to request him for everything at some point. And I would request him again, if I had to buy anything else from Best Buy. The office people / schedulers were also very nice to work with.

Don't use them. They will try to upcharge you for their time when they were hired from a major appliance vendor

Avoid, if possible. We ordered an appliance for my mom thru a major retainer and AYS was their contractor for the installation. Their guy came and said that the new appliance was bigger and the old one and it wouldn't install in the space so they would have to do additional work (at $150 extra expense). My mom is on limited income so decided not to incur that additional expense and decided not to get it. I checked the manufacturers specs and the new one was only 1/8 inch bigger than the old appliance and there was more than enough space for install ?. Either the guy was too busy and didn't want to spend time doing the install or simply wanted the additional ?. My brother said he'll do the install himself instead

Ordered new appliances from Costco and was terrified when we saw that AYS was the installation company based on the reviews here. Have to be honest, they far exceeded my expectations. They communicated constantly, calling twice to remind us of delivery and then again on the day of. Danis and his partner showed up right on time, got everything done quickly, and showed us how to use the appliances and then were gone. It was honestly a painless process. I think this company gets a bad rep based on individual installers, but Danis was great. No complaints from us, the whole experience was awesome.

i finally received by cooktop and dishwAsher after waiting 5 months (Best Buy). AYS did the install incorrectly. Today was supposedly the 2nd appointment, because of course they didn't show for the first one over a week ago (no call). Today I called to see if someone was still coming, she had no record of my appointment. Advise she would call one of her installers to see if he could "swing by". This has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Best Buy and AYS, both are extremely unorganized, and are not recommended. MsBe
