Very pleased with JPS marble and granite in Forest Hill. Love our counters and island. Everything was smooth from order, template and installation. Had an issue with water marks on granite. JPS sent out a service tech who applied another coat of sealer which fixed the problem. Very happy with product and service! Thank you

We went to JPS Morgan because someone we knew recommended it to us. We were told that they have a lot of left over slabs we can choose from for our master bathroom. We went to the one in Edgewood and we found so many that I could not choose just one! So we decided to do our bathroom upstairs also! Rina was very helpful and courteous, she communicated with us every step of the way. Measuring and installation a week later went as scheduled! The installers were very nice and the plumber Eugene came later and did a fantastic job! If I had known it would be this easy I would have done it long ago! Live and learn. Live and learn.

We had a very good experience with JPS. Louise was wonderful to work with. She was always there to answer all of our questions and concerns. Matt did a great job with cabinet install and so did countertop installers and plumber. Our kitchen looks great! It was a great experience through a tough pandemic.

Impressive selection of granite and stone available in the show room. Manager was extremely helpful in helping to discuss various design options when replacing current granite countertops. Fair pricing and quick installation. Excellent customer service.

We contracted with JPS for approximately 40 sq feet of granite in order to replace a kitchen countertop and a countertop for a bathroom vanity. Scheduling was quick, template completed one week after selection. The installation occurred one week after the completion of the template. In addition, we paid a pretty hefty service fee for "removal", approximately $250. All was well until the date of installation. The installation was scheduled from 8-10 a.m., so I arranged for another family member to go over and ensure the installation was done correctly. At 10:55 a.m., with no one arriving at that point, I called and asked why they hadn't showed up. The JPS manager on duty told me that "we never called because you left us a lockbox key so we didn't think it mattered when we showed up". At that point, she said the driver rescheduled for 9-11 a.m. and would arrive in 5 minutes, which he did - at 11:00 a.m. Not sure I understand the point of scheduling appointments when you show up whenever you want and never contact the customer. A phone call was obviously warranted here. The same thing happened when they came out to measure. They changed the arrival window and we weren't notified until we called after the original window was over. A phone call was warranted in that instance as well. During the install, I had another contractor on site working on flooring installation. JPS asked the flooring contractor if they should dispose of the countertops and the sink after installation. They didn't ask me, didn't call me and it was clearly documented in the contract so any confusion would have been easily resolved with a phone call (there's a theme here). They asked a contractor. The flooring contractor called me, and he said that JPS had already left and left the kitchen sink behind in the MIDDLE OF THE LIVING ROOM FLOOR - after I paid $250 for service removal. About 2-3 days later, we called JPS to inquire about why the sink was left behind. The JPS employee that answered the phone then proceeded to blame us for everything that happened and told us "this was only our side of the story." Insinuating that we somehow fabricated this story. Lee/Ali and Melissa are the folks that we spoke with during the job. I believe that Melissa is the person that completely lost her cool during our last discussion. They did come back to retrieve the sink. The phone works really well when they called for their payment today, just not when there is a change in timing or there are any questions that may result in the employees doing the work they were contracted to do. This business has zero concept of customer service.

The most awful customer service experience ever! Save your time and go anywhere else..

I loved the granite we selected but JPS in Forest Hill is the worst! They neglected to tell us about the extra charge for the sink cut out and sent us an email saying they would deliver the granite between 9-11 but then changed the time to between 2-4, causing me to lose a whole day of work and pay. At $80 a square foot, they did NOT provide us the customer service that we paid for. I should have looked up other reviews before buying here. They don't even care that they get such negative reviews. Save yourself the trouble and choose another company!

Completely missed out template appointment. Called to find out when they would arrive on day of. Claimed that it was never scheduled. When we left there the day we purchased we had given the salesperson the date. Apparently he never relayed it. So two days later template was done. Got a drawing of the template with dimensions, I added the square fedet up and their math was way off. Charging me for 7 square feed which didn't exist, Had to get that corrected. So BEWARE of dimensions and charges. Day was given for installation with arrival of between 2 and 4 PM. 4 PM came and no one was here. Sent text to find out when they would arrive. The installer called me at 5 PM said he would be here at 6 PM. Arrived at 6:30 PM. When they installed the granite. A piece was chipped off behind the range which they filled with epoxy, The sink was not centered in the granite and said that they could not center it due to not having space to do so. To top it off, They never finished the poor job until 11 PM on a Saturday night. Didn't care much of granite being installed up too 11 PM in my house. Called JPS on Monday and sent pics of the bad sink installation. They sent someone from their service crew out to fix the problem. Those guys did arrive on time and did do a good job. When I called to pay off the remaining cost. Paid with my credit card, person on other end of line said they do not charge a fee for using a credit card. That is strange, the sales guy that sold us on the day of purchase told us he would give us a 3% discount if we paid by check otherwise he would charge us 3% more if we used a credit card. Very dishonest person. Would not recommend.

Absolutely awful...avoid. The salesperson Lee was personable, but once they came out and measured the price was about $800-$1000 more than I anticipated. No big deal really, but when I called to inquire about their square footage estimate which differed significantly from mine (basic math), they offered no technical explanation for the discrepancy and I was told "the owner is not interested in doing the job". How low rent is that? All I wanted was an explanation as to their measurements and if it were at all reasonable I would surely have gone with it...but they were so quick to dismiss me and my small ($2-$3k) job for my outdoor kitchen...screw them.

The customer service at JPS is horrible. I was prepared to purchase my granite today, but they made no effort to sell it to me. The person "helping" us said that he would meet us outside, but he never came. After looking around on our own we finally went to find him and ask about the specific type of granite that we were interested in. He said that type of granite was inside, but we were not even told that there was an inside area. He explained that that's where they keep more expensive slabs, and he didn't think we would want to look at those. Even though he was so unhelpful, we were still going to purchase the granite. We went inside to talk about pricing. He kept referring to our kitchen as a small job and was so rude that we ended up walking out. I would certainly not recommend JPS. If they are this terrible when they are trying to get my business, I can only imagine what their customer service would be like once they have my money.

Very happy with JPS. We went there on a very busy saturday. One of the project managers helped us choose a few samples to take home for a kitchen remodel we were doing. After deciding on the color, we picked out the slab. The following Saturday, Edwin came to our home to lazer measure the 4 pieces for our kitchen. The following Saturday 2 men returned with the cut piece that fit perfectly. Our range top had a very small lip that held the range on the granite. The opening was purposely undercut so the final cuts could be made on site so the range dropped in perfectly. The men cleaned, sealed and gave us maintenance tips for years of enjoyment for our granite countertops. I definitely recommend JPS. Very friendly from first visit to final install. Oh, the overall price was the best compared to others. Don't just compare price per sq foot. Compare the overall price including cut outs, sink, sealing, etc. Overall JPS had them beat.

We were really excited to go to this place to pick out granite. The guy who led us around was very nice. We found some options that we were excited about and liked. We left with the guy telling us he'd get an estimate out to us.... We never received it. The dude called us a few days ago following up..? Following up for what? We never even got an estimate... He called like we had to information to make a decision. He then asked who we were going with and why. I tell ya, peeps be special kinds of stoopid! Nope nope and nope!!

I should have read the one and only previous yelp review. I shouldn't have wasted time driving here. I did call a few hours before making the trip, but no one answered the phone. I walked in and a lady on the phone said hi, the man sitting at the desk said hi. And then he kept asking me if I was here to see two other people. I had to cut him off and say that I was looking for a piece of thin marble for the hearth of my fireplace because he wouldn't stop talking. To my surprise they don't carry it. I asked him if he recommended another store in the area, he told me to google it and put in my zip code. That was a completely stupid answer. He told me to call the stores first...my response was that I called your store but no one answered. He said, "Well apparently we are here. We were on the other line." Don't waste your time with this company!!! Definitely unprofessional.

Let me start by saying I had to give them 1 star to get started. They don't really deserve that one. Got my granite for my new kitchen here. Love the granite. VERY UNHAPPY with the service. Big blob of epoxy on my island where some quartz flicked out I guess during polishing. Bad match, and not on my island! Put that in the corner. Then we figure out they charged us for 60 square feet when we needed 47. It is an exotic granite which costs more per square foot. Apparently you have to pay for what is wasted. Then why pay more per square foot? They did replace the island piece but not without a lot of back and forth. Will NOT be recommending them to anyone.
