Came to store to shop for major kitchen appliances last night around 6:30pm. In store for 30+ minutes and never approached or welcomed by a staff member. Saw 3 BB staffets in security area by front door in a conversation on way and way out but no one said hi and none on the floor helping customers. Also some displays were empty and derelict in appliance section. Usually the Frederick store is a superior customer experience so this was pretty disappointing. Hoping it was just bad timing.

Waited for help for 20 minutes. No employees were interested in helping. We left.

Rebuilding currently. No contact with any staff other than the greeter.

Went to buy an item that was on the rack but when I took it to the register, turns out they don’t have it and I would have had to spend $400 more for what I wanted. Waste of time and shows lack of shelf facing.

I went in fully intending to purchase an Apple Watch and accessories on my lunch break but couldn’t find a Blue Shirt to help me get one and ran out of time. Ended up ordering directly from Apple instead.

I was looking for some headphones. There are many options for technology products, everything is very interesting.

The managers at this location are super rude and nasty. I have worked in customer service for almost 50 years and this is the worst I have ever experienced. Hopefully this is one of the locations that will close down. I have shopped at this location for 15 years and it just continues to get worse.

This Best Buy has the worst service EVER. Do not go here. All of the managers are rude. They delivered me a broken tv and now won’t help me.

Probably the worst Best Buy I’ve been to thus far. Came today 2/20/25 needing help with getting an entire new system for my vehicle and the guy at the door was pretty friendly. He told me where to go after telling him what I needed and someone would be there to help. I stood there for almost 40 minutes and within this time frame I saw a couple Best Buy associates standing around looking like they’d rather be anywhere but work. There was a girl working in the computer section helping a guy and I asked her if there was anyone in the section where car stereos and subwoofers were. She said she would call someone and I went back to wait over by what I wanted to get. Another 15 or 20 min of waiting and still no one comes so I go back to the girl and the computer section to ask if anyone was coming she the attitude received by her was disgusting. She said she called and people are just busy but I’m looking around and there’s hardly anyone in the damn store. So I wait 10 more minutes and leave. Was willing to spend over 1k on stereo equipment for my car and walked out with nothing but attitude from a mediocre Best Buy’s customer service rep. Do better and hire people excited to work. I was here a few weeks ago and bought a new laptop, docking station and dual monitor holder and it was the best experience ever. It’s a shame the lack of support on one day puts such a poor taste in a customers mouth they would rather go anywhere else just to get some help from an employee who wants to be at their job.

Ripoff, I knew there was a reason I stopped shopping here, now they want to sell you memberships?

If you need it soon don’t do store pickup. It’s NEVER ready in “about 1 hour”. More like “later today… maybe... if you’re lucky.”
Just buy it off the store floor. It’s the only way to get what you need quick.
Better yet, go elsewhere.

*****Update***** as of 12/31 Katelyn Jenkins at Best Buy was able to get my order resolved. Between her and Ashley at the store they were able to correct the errors and pains that the call center had created. The associates at the store have been great. Too bad the call center and online services are not able to match their services. I was so disappointed in the process of this purchase but Katelyn took great care of me and made sure I got the best deals available. If you have any issues with any purchases go to the store directly for help. Do not call or go online. I am happy with my GE washer and dryer.******************
I purchased a washer and dryer on July 21st and ended up canceling the order due to the size. I spoke with a rep who advised me they canceled my order and tried to assist me with a new purchase. The representative never completed the return and left my order pending. I noticed the chargers were on my credit card statement in August. I called and they emailed me they would take care of the charges. They gave a me a partial return leaving me with over. $2,000 balance for the order on my credit card. I've spent numerous hours calling best buy and have placed 9 calls as of 11/14 to get this resolved.I last 2 calls were to follow up on manager call back request which has not happened yet. I've been waiting now for 2 weeks to be called back and find out what their back office was doing with my "escalation". The reps keep hanging up on me. I finally got someone to talk to me for an hour with NO resolution. She said I could go to the store to get a gift card for the amount of the discrepancy that remains of $312. It makes no sense why best buy would issue partial returns on an order that was completely canceled. I would not trust Best Buy for large appliance purchases they don't care about providing a great customer experience. Best Buy needs to provide me with a refund and provide me with some type apology for spending over 9 hours of phone time that still requires additional follow up. Look elsewhere to avoid a headache.

TL;DR: I will no longer be a customer due to a price match issue.
On January 21, 2025, I visited your Frederick, MD store to price match an Apple Thunderbolt 4 cable listed at Target for $34.99 (regular price $69.99). Despite demonstrating that Target could ship the cable overnight, your manager refused the price match because the item was not in stock at the local Target.
I've been a loyal customer, spending thousands annually and holding a Best Buy Total Rewards membership. However, this experience has led me to reconsider my patronage. I will no longer shop at Best Buy and have advised my social circle to do the same.
From now on, I will take my business to Costco and Amazon.
I hope this policy or the execution thereof proves beneficial for your business.

Easy online ordering and pickup. However, limited staff to help. Waited in the TV area at the check out desk for almost 20 minutes and staff never showed.
