I would leave zero stars if that was an option. Hidden fees galore. To begin with, if you pick up a vehicle late on a Friday for a one-day rental, intending to return it Saturday evening, you can't do that because they don't accept after-hours returns. They will charge you for two days and say you have to bring it back on Sunday between 9:00and 12:30. Apparently their definition of an a "one-day rental" on a Friday evening is from Friday evening until Saturday no later than 12:30. I've never had this situation with any other rental car agency. Having no option, I proceeded with my "two-day rental" now having paid twice as much as I planned to. Whatever, my husband and our dog and I traveled as planned and had a good time. All went well with the return, until I was called an hour later and told that they would be imposing a $125 cleaning fee because of dog hair in the vehicle. I had left the vehicle in good condition; it just needed a quick vacuum, which I assumed would be standard between renters as it is at every other agency. Nope. This is an opportunity for another money grab at Budget and you can bet they went for it. I have sent multiple emails escalating with management, and no one will help me. They have my card so they're charging it, and apparently there's nothing I can do except shout my experience far and wide online. So here I am. Never ever use Budget.

If you reserve your truck online make sure you take your reservation number with you to pick up the truck or you might get charged more.

Miguel took very good care of us and got us in and out very fast. He was very friendly and apologized when he didn't realize I was waiting (it was maybe 5 minutes). We were a little confused on why the door was locked but it was just because they only had one person and he was cleaning cars. Over all good service!

The customer service team is horrible. They had 1 person working the front. The fast track was not open to get our car. No one there to help us and see what we needed to get our car. We were told to go in line and exit to be helped!!!!! We prepaid, pre signed in for fast track. Why do we have to wait in the line of 30 people. We have fast track. This happened in Boston and Baltimore. The worse experience. We will never rent from budget again. We decided to rent another car and we were on our way after waiting 2 hours with no car from budget.

They had the van and it worked great! In fact, they had three when I arrived to pick up the rental van! I was concerned at first they might not have it because of car shortages, but they delivered!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY OR FACILITY. They rent unsafe vehicles I rented a truck from this location. Fortunately I purchased full coverage. Two hours into our move the passenger side mirror flew off going down the interstate but it gets better! The second day it was raining the entire day and the cab and rear of the truck leaked heavily. We drove for 853 miles soaking wet. calls to customer service were dismissive.

Lousy customer service. Reserved a truck online, showed up to pick up the truck only to be told that they had no trucks available. No apology, just a comment that "they should have never let you reserve a truck here". Now a few days later, and they've charged my credit card $75 for a truck I never got to drive. Called customer service and they told me it was my fault because I didn't cancel the reservation. I was finally able to convince them to refund the money.

They rented me a truck that leaked. The cab leaked so much on us that we were soaking wet. It also leaked in the back. There was standing water on several items one we opened it up. Here is a picture that shows where the water was running in around the rivets. The passenger mirror also flew off 2 hours down the interstate. UNTRUSTWORTHY. When I reported it to corporate they were extremely unhelpful.

Do NOT rent from Budget and certainly not from this location. I would give zero stars if I could. I will absolutely never, ever rent from Budget again - worse company ever. Budget corporate is worthless and they give you the run around - totally shirk their responsibility and make you work with the local Budget where you rented from. Got a surprise call and bill from their insurance company alleging car was damaged while in my possession which is a total lie. Was advised by my insurance company to make sure to take pictures and video (including the underside) of your vehicle in the future before you pick it up and when you return it because car rental companies are pulling this scam more often these days....even when they acknowledge the damage was pre-existing. Will gladly pay significantly more to go with other car rental companies in the future to avoid ever having this experience again!!!

DO NOT rent a moving truck from Budget! Spend the extra money and go with U-Haul! We moved from Maryland to Florida this past weekend and it was the worst experience. After we loaded up our 26 foot truck about an hour into our drive the breaking light came on and beeped for the entire drive (14 hours!) We tried to call the road side and they said it would be 3-4 hours and wait for a new truck, we did not have that long to wait nor did we have time to reload the truck that we spent hours packing, so we had no choice but to deal with it. I paid an extra $200 to be provided a service that was useless. They obviously did not inspect the vehicle before it was given to us, on top of the brake issue, the driver side seatbelt did not work and also the radio did not work. Also, there was an issue with filling up the tank, they said that it was our fault because we didn't do it correctly, but no one ever told us any instruction on how to fill up the tank differently, we even had the truck driver that was filling up next to us try to help us and he couldn't even do it, we were never able to get the tank to fill past 3/4 til full, the guy at the budget truck drop off was not understanding and said he would charge me what it cost to fill the rest up plus $35, I understand paying the fill up cost but to charge a fee seems crazy to me considering all the issues we had. We have done 15 moves in 17 years, we were a military family and my husband is a veteran, we have always used uhaul and never once had an issue, I'd decided to try and save some money because budget was a little cheaper, I wish I would have just gone with a company I know is good and worthy of my money. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT rent from budget ever!!!

They must be under new management because I had a 5 star experience!!!! I dealt with Miguel who was very polite and professional. I requested a full size and was upgraded to a SUV for no additional cost. The vehicle was clean inside and out. I paid the deposit and Miguel advised it would be 3-5 days for my deposit to be released. It was released the very next day. When I returned the vehicle, it was so easy. I have already scheduled my next rental!!!!

Rented a f150 pickup for a little over a day...showed up at 8 am when my rental began to get the car and was told that it had not been returned by the previous renter yet and to come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later called and was told on the phone that the guy who had the truck wanted to keep it another day and that I was basically out of luck even though I had reserved and payed for the rental over a month in advance. They told me they had a dodge journey that I could have and that would be my only option... they wouldn't even refund my money. So I drove back to the place to get the 3 row journey SUV that I was going to have to make work in place of the f150. Then to make it worse as I am going through the process of getting the paper work done the guy helping me which happened to also be the manager told me he could not rent the car to me... why?.. well because I'm 19 and you have to be 21... now that would be the case but I am a USAA member and I booked through them so not only can I rent the car being under 21 but I also get the young driver fee waived. Now I had to explain this to the manager because he was extremely clueless as to any of this and told me I was wrong... when I told him that he should know this as my reservation shows my age and that I booked through usaa and everything he became very irate and started screaming at me that I didnt know his f***ing business and to shut the f up. When he calmed down he finally agreed that he would call someone to check and he went to the backroom and make a phone call.. when he came back he was so angry he didnt even want to talk to me anymore so he had another employee finish my paperwork and hand me the keys to the vehicle. By the time I got in the dodge journey and drove off it was 10 am and I had already lost 2 hrs of my time and the time I had paid to rent the vehicle. On top of that they still charged me for the rate of the f150 which was more expensive then the car I received and never compensated me for the time of my rental that was wasted.

I rented a truck from them and they only gave me a key to the ignition which I would assume unlock the door. However my assumption was wrong after I locked the truck went inside a store came out and could not unlock the door with the key they gave me. Two hours waiting, 90° weather, I had four cases of candy in the cab that melted at $28 per case. They calle I rented a truck from them and they only gave me a key to the ignition which I would assume unlock the door. However my assumption was wrong after I locked the truck went inside the store came out and could not unlock the door with the key they gave me. Two hours waiting, 90° weather, I had four cases of candy in the cab that melted at $28 per case. I had to call a tow truck that they gave me the number for to unlock the truck. When I returned the vehicle they did not apologize I told them what happened and their response was I hear you. I called the corporate office to see if I could get money off my rental and they offered me $11.45. This is not a joke. To make matters worse, today I received a bill for $300 from Budget for the tow truck that had to come and unlock the vehicle for me. I have a corporate account with Budget which I will no longer use. This is not the first time I've had issues and unprofessionalism. The trucks are in terrible shape as well
