This place has gone downhill. I've been going here for over 13 years. I have never seen it this bad. They consistently have 0 stock now. The fridge that holds milk, drinks, and other items is broken. This fridge is huge as well, its well over 75% of the cold items. It has been this way for nearly 2 or 3 weeks now. I have considered getting rid of my CVS pass because of this. I remember this place had hard to find snacks and foods. They don't sell single serving ice cream snacks anymore either. I don't come here expect to use my cvs pass on some cvs brand pharmacy items for the discount one a month. Other than that this store is worthless. 1 stars just for the pass and cheap headache meds. Would give it 0.

If you’re traveling for work out of state and need a controlled prescription filled don’t go here. After the pharmacist spoke with my doctors office and my doctor they “aren’t comfortable” filling the prescription.

I encountered some very rude pharmacy techs today. The manager was very condescending and insulting towards me. I had to escalate a complaint. I almost wasn't given my prescription today even though it was ready. I am a long time customer too. I doubt my complaint will go anywhere. The store manager needs some customer relations training. She spouted off some store policies that were not in line with a positive customer experience. Her rendition of distressed employees is to blame the customer.

Busy pharmacy, but the employees are great. They go above and beyond to fix any issues and genuinely care about their patients.

Get the J&J Shot here if you have a chance. Forget about the 2 shot competitors, the CVS "Minute Clinic" here has the one you need. One catch though is the clinic here is basically a sectioned off part of the store that has chairs and masquerades as a medical facility. The medical staff consist of 1 yes thats solo, nurse, tech or whatever that is also responsible for booking patients into the system (read insurance) prior to performaing services. So if as in this case the patient walks in trying to do the right thing and get a shot, plan on providing your complete medical history, insurance information, collegiate dissertation first online and then repeating the process at the store. The digital keypad check-in system is slow as molasses and there is litteraly a 3 second delay entering a character before the screen populates.. Arriving on time for appointment, turns into ~ 15 minutes just to get past the check in.. When finally the one, (read solo) medical person calls you be ready to produce ID and Insurance before service. If youre insurance card doesnt register, even though its good and just worked the week prior, plan on waiting while the medical person tries their hand at "medical billing" and entering the patient data into the system for pre approval. Its easier to call it in youreself.. Dont ask how I know.. At the end of the day, this CVS has the J&J so there is a positive but waiting ~50 minutes to process in for a ~ 3 minute shot is a bit excessive.. Maybe someone from CVS will get the messasge eventually, with all the patients waiting and waiting. Thanks and good luck.

The past 4-6 months, their customer service in the pharmacy has gone way down. I have consistently waited over 20 mins for someone to pick up the phone in the pharmacy. If I am in the store I always hear "2 pharmacy calls" being announced without ever being answered. I try to use their app for convenience and honestly so I don't have to call and I still have issues getting refills. Had a prescription that needed a prior authorization that insurance wouldn't cover and instead of contacting my physician, they just tell me it will be $680! I had to ask them to contact my physician. After no contact for 2 weeks about this med, I call them and they say they haven't heard back from my doctor. Call my doctor and they say the pharmacy never contacted them and got medication authorization immediately. This was a medication for heart failure! Currently waiting on a refill that I have now requested 5 times over the past 2 weeks. First incident, the tech didn't mention any issues when I went to pick up my refills. I didn't realize it until I got home. My mistake. Requested refill again and try to pick up a week later. Tech hands me other refills and again says nothing about any issues I check this time and ask about specific medication. Says there is a hold. Okay? Says he will contact my doctor as this medication has refills. Call 2 days later and again wait on hold for over 20 mins and get hung up on. Try again and am told there is a hold but he can have it ready by 5 pm. Great! Go to pick up med inside pharmacy because line for drive through is around the building. Am in line behind 3 other customers for over 20 mins. Get to register and I am told that my prescription is on hold! She then tells me I need to go to the consultation window for assistance. Awesome! Another line. I tell this tech what is going on and what does she tell me? It is on hold! Says she needs to hear back from my doctor. I show her on app that it says is was ready and she says that was the original prescription written in April. I tell her that can't be as the original was written by a different provider. Her answer is that she needs to hear from the physician. I ask that she contact them and she responded " we already did". Fine, I call them. Nurse says it was sent in on the same day their app is showing. Says she will call pharmacy to assist. Calls me back to let me know she spoke with them and requested they fill ASAP. This was around 4pm. As of 9 pm last night the prescription is still processing. I give up!

Staff are incompetent. They always give the wrong information and policies exacerbating any issues you may have. Speak to pharmacist directly or go to another pharmacy altogether.

These guys deserve more than 5 stars. I've never been to a better CVS. Not only are they professional, but the are FRIENDLY and NICE! They are willing to go the extra mile to check insurance, etc. I've been with CVS for years, and by far, this is the best one around. I have never had an unpleasant experience. I love coming here, always a great bunch of people!

I've already waited 30 minutes in line at the CVS drive-thru and I got up there and they asked for my son's insurance so I gave it and she told me to CIRCLE BACK AROUND and by then it would be done. SHE HAD THE MEDS IN BAGS IN HER HANDS AT THE WINDOW. So now I'm behind 3 cars again!!! So another 30 minutes so wait!!!! Just hoping my son stays asleep during this whole ordeal

This review is regarding my Minute Clinic experience at this location and if I could rate the practitioner a 0 I would. Unfortunately, she probably rotates between CVS locations but, be aware that your experience could be different from mine. I was seeking treatment for a sinus infection. What I got was a lecture on smoking cessation, called a liar to my face and was told that a 90 year-old was in better health. When I refused a flu shot, I was told that was "stupid" for as much as I travel for business. I finally got a prescription for antibiotics after all this unnecessary and unprofessional BS from someone with zero people skills and a toxic personality but I'll never go in there again for fear of losing my temper and doing something that might get me arrested for assault. Nobody should have to tolerate being treated like that when they're not feeling well and I am forced to wonder how CVS could allow someone so socially incompetent to be in direct, face-to-face contact with customers.

Issues? I have no idea what they would be. The staff is courteous, pharmacists and techs are amazing. I never wait more than 15-20min for my medication, it's always ordered, and on time every month. Any issues, any questions, they've always been there. What to see a horrible pharmacy, I can name many in this town, however CVS in Ballenger Creek isn't one. Come on, they even keep plastic spoons available by the register so that when my daughter and I stop in on our walk home for ice cream, she can eat it on her way out the door. Love this pharmacy.

The non pharmacy staff here are very nice and courteous. However, the pharmacy staff here are rude, incompetent, and are discriminating. Sarah the pharmacy manager here had the audacity to tell me to go fill my prescriptions "someplace else". I will go take my prescriptions and refill them "someplace else". You are a person who has no life and will end up with cats when your old. Go f yourself with some prescriptions!!!!! Just know that under ADA law of 1964, I have a RIGHT to file a lawsuit because I need those medications due to my disability and since you have now denied me ALL my prescriptions (and I need them to function because of my disability). You have just discriminated me based on my disability which is grounds for a major class action lawsuit.
