It is infuriating that we can no longer call CVS and speak to a real person. You must wait for a call back. The call back is usually pretty quick but if you are at work this can be very inconvenient.

Came in to buy DayQuil, sick with my toddler. Self check out asked for my ID which I had left in my car. Waited several minutes for an employee. Employee working insisted that I needed it. Went to get my ID from my car while holding up the line, all for the associate to have me wait several more minutes to not even look at my ID; and ask me to type in my birthdate.

been going to this location for the last 8 years but the past year has been the absolute worst to the point of not even wanting to deal with CVS as a whole due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism from their employees. the technicians are extremely rude and impatient just like half of the pharmacists working there - and this is coming from someone who used to be a pharm tech. i get everyone has bad days but for majority of the women workers there to take it out on their staff on multiple occasions is insane, especially when people are just trying to get their prescription. 0 stars

I came here for 6 months and experienced no issues but the last three visits in three months have been terrible.. the first bad experience was one of their systems being down where an associate asked me to please write to corporate so this may be fixed. The second I needed one of my medications but their insurance system was down which may take a day to fix; maybe two but don’t worry.. This only happens once every two weeks and the third was today where the IVR wouldn’t ensure me my prescription was being filled and now there’s no possible way of reaching an associate. The associates are INCREDIBLE! And some of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever seem which is why I’m giving them two stars but CVS as a whole does not give them the tools and resources required to efficiently do their job and due to that… I’m taking my business elsewhere…

Of ALL CVS locations in Frederick this one is the best. The pharmacy is the most efficient and friendliest. The drive thru is quick and they have been really helpful with our RX issues. Heather in the pharmacy is really friendly!

I walked 15 minutes to CVS yesterday evening and got a Hershey bar for $5 (which is already a lot). After that I took my siblings to Food Lion and saw the same chocolate there for $2. I went back to CVS to return it and get my money back and the lady at the front desk told me I couldn't return it without my I.D. I just turned 16 last week and don't have an I.D on me. The lady then got her manager and she told me the same thing. I proceeded to ask if there was any other ways I can get them the information they need like a school I.D or if I could call my mom to come with hers and they both just looked at me and didn't explain anything. The only thing they kept telling me was that I need an I.D for a return. The manager was unprofessional and kept trying to just dismiss me.

If I could give zero stars I would. A patient went to pick up Rx one day after it was called in and was told it was not sent by Dr. This was a lie. When we called to inquire, they admitted the prescription was written down by pharmacist and just never "entered into the system". The pharmacist did not offer an explanation, excuse or apology. Totally unacceptable! We will advise our patients to go elsewhere.

CVS on Rosemont Ave has plenty of parking although the parking lot needs to be resurfaced. The exterior is well lit and clean. The interior was recently updated. Pharmacy drive thru can get crowded at peak times, otherwise, it has one or two cars at most. Pharmacists are always helpful with answering questions in drive thru and inside the store. The store has a little bit of everything. Checkout rarely has a wait of more than a minute or two. It is easy in and easy out. Product pricing is higher than a Walmart but you can't beat the convenience. The same goes for most pharmaceuticals. The lot and store are handicap accessible.

The pharmacy employees are unfriendly and barely assist you. They don't automate a call/text you to let you know your prescription is ready, like my old CVS. I dont want to call in as much as they dont want to answer my calls.

Worst pharmacy we have used in Frederick. Take weeks to fill prescriptions and are not consistent at all. Also do not send notifications when prescriptions are filled. So you have to go constantly to check. Rude staff.
