We were attending a function in nearby Boonsboro and didn't want to make a two and a half hour drive back home in the dark, so I made reservations for two rooms. The rooms were spotless, and the beds, comfortable, perfect for an overnight stay. There was a commotion going on in the back parking lot, so if you arrive at night, I would recommend just going right to your rooms. Also, the night attendant seemed a bit put out, but perhaps she was just tired. The day attendant was friendly and professional. Check in/out went well. One thing I would recommend to Days Inn is to do more with the "free breakfast" as there was only coffee, donuts and muffins, plus a microwave. When I think of breakfast, I think of a little more. Or maybe set something up with the Waffle House next door. I do recommend.

This place is disgusting. There were toenails in the carpet, pubes in the bathtub and food crumbs everywhere when I first got here. The staff ignores the do not disturb sign and one staff member even peered through the window with their hands on the glass while I was in there. Somebody opened my door, even though I locked it while getting ready, so I'm assuming it was staff. They didn't knock or anything, just decided to open my door. Additionally, none of the drains work properly and the sink/toilet seat were broken. When trying to address the issue at the front desk, they were dismissive and wouldn't listen to anything being told to them. I did not feel safe staying here and I had to leave a night early to find somewhere else to stay. Completely unacceptable and just flat out repulsive.

Went in and asked about a room right before midnight. Person at desk quoted me higher price than online and they require a $100 deposit. I asked if I could book online for a lower price and he said yes but there were certain way you had to do it because their machines weren't working at this time or something. His accent was so incredibly heavy I could not make heads or tails out of it. I just want a room and get some sleep. Obviously this is not the place to do it.

We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm. There was no one at the reception, although there was a cheerful sign that the concierge would be back soon. We couldn’t get to the reception and had to stand outside the door for about 15 minutes; no one answered phone calls either. At the same time, the hotel withheld part of the payment for the first day from me at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, although when booking I chose the “pay on the spot” option. After the concierge arrived, he once again withheld the full amount for my stay for two days and said that the previously withheld prepayment would later be returned to my account. They also withheld my $100 deposit. I had never read about a deposit on the hotel’s Booking page and this was another surprise for me. Neither the deposit nor the prepayment for the hotel have been returned to me yet... It was cold in the room, because... no one thought to turn on the air conditioning for dear guests on a rainy autumn day. There are only two small pillows on a king-size bed - this is a mockery of the guests, I think. For two adult guests - one small bottle of shampoo and absolutely no shower gel... As it turned out later, cleaning in this hotel is not provided, it was not carried out and this portion of cosmetics was intended for 2 days... There is a safe in the room, but was slammed by previous residents or the hotel administration, it was impossible to use it. Tea, coffee and glasses were all in the room, but in strictly limited quantities. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but it is terribly poor... For me, next time I will pay a little more, but I will stay in a hotel where they will trust me as a client and in which they will take care of me as a client... I can’t recommend visiting this hotel.

We showed up exhausted around noon after driving all night. With a one year old baby. Couldn't wait till regular check in time at 3 pm. Was told about a $45 early check-in fee. Took it in a heartbeat. It's a no frills hotel, but we only really plan to sleep here. Front desk girls were nice. Affordable price considering that there's a huge festival in town.

3 stars is generous. The bathtub faucet was dripping hot, giving the room a musty, humid feel. The room wasn't very clean and the blanket literally had a burn hole in it (some rooms allow smoking). The pool is "closed for maintenance." There were weird noises, I'm assuming coming from other rooms, and the A/C made less than sleep-conducive sounds as well. Also, this probably isn't the motel's fault, but the waffle house next door was closed.EDIT: Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention one other problem: the treadmill in the gym doesn't really work and some of the buttons on the elliptical are faulty.

Not to bad location wise very clean...people were friendly enough...beside One Short African-American very rude disrespectful housekeeper and I didn't mistreat her I was out smoking and I needed towels I asked her she told me no one has time for that and not to bother her and this was her response after I told her when she had time no rush & she went out of her way to be rude and disrespectful. There was one broken soda machine did not have any other kind of vending machine have to go main office which with the business they get selection is very very slim and the restaurant which is the Waffle House is like connected and they only takes so many take out orders and the menu is very limited so if you happen to Google restaurants close by there is so many other within walking distance also. And the pool was closed the whole week for no reason that I could see feel like it's just there for looks cause it was well kept and crystal blue.Rooms: Very clean and spaciousWalkability: There is alittle of everything within walking distance 7-ELEVEN Sheetz different little fast food McDonald's pizza spot just so many to many to list and we walked in evening and night cause it was really nice out it clean decent area busy but that's the worst I can actually say about location and that's not even badFood & drinks: They have alittle of whatever you could possibly want within walking distance and 35min out of town and a WaffleHouse like a 100 feet from any room you stay in.Noteworthy details: Very clesn spacious rooms. Beware of very rude short African-American housekeeper

Do not let them put you at back building. It's obvious that it is being used as a residence for homeless people or others who cannot qualify for an apartment. If you get a renovated king room in the front building it is perfectly good. The bed was comfortable. The internet works. Breakfast is a pittance tho. Just granola bars, toast and maybe a bagel. No proteins. Even fresh fruit or yogurt would help. Pricing is good. Location is great. We were there when the baseball team was playing in the stadium close by and stepped out of the room to watch the fireworks.

I am currently still here on my first night, but let me tell you, these people earned every penny of my money. The room is spectacular as I ought to know, Former Groundskeeper of an apartment complex along with six other properties that I managed and cleaned intensely weekly. The property is like a marine barracks, spit shined in all comfort. LOL. Whoever does these rooms cleaning wise should definitely get a raise, no lie. I am very impressed and I let the front desk now immediately after I entered the room.

The staff were very friendly so I will give them that. The room was filthy and smelled, broken toilet seat, long hairs all over the bathroom floor, they have a pool but it has been broken for months so they need to put that on their website. I was in the back building which seems to be where people actually live and not just stay for a few days, noisy and not a pleasant experience. My room was booked for a Friday and I was leaving on a Tuesday but I ended up checking out in Sunday morning because I was disappointed with this whole experience. The staff member at check out was not even concerned I was checking out 2 days earlier either, she just told me to leave my key card in the room before I leave, and didn't need to check out.Rooms: Room was very dirty and smelled of Marijuana, broken toilet seat, long hairs in the bathroom floor.

My family and I were in town for a wedding, and looking for an economical hotel stay. We made reservations for multiple rooms with Days Inn by Wyndham, Frederick MD, through a 3rd party service, which was unknowingly our first step into a bad experience overall.+ Pros:+ The way the room was set up was nice and well-equipped, all things considered (e.g., iron, hair drier, fridge, microwave, AC, good lighting).+ Housekeeping was attentive and replaced used towels.+ Convenient access to the highway.- Cons:- Did not smell very clean, the "non-smoking" room smelled faintly like cannabis and cigarette smoke.- The front desk tried to be helpful, but customer service/experience is not their leading strength. Interactions were frustrating. Many other reviewers mention a specific front desk attendant who I think we interacted with, as well. - Skip the free breakfast. The first AM I was confused why a hotel of it's size didn't have more people at breakfast, but quickly realized why. Breakfast essentially consisted of oatmeal (although the pot quickly ran out and it took a while to make more), mini bagels, granola bars, juice, and coffee.- No ice buckets (although there's an ice machine), and no corkscrews.- No pool, not sufficiently advertised that it is out of service.- Security was questionable, lot's of law enforcement activity while we were there. (Appears there are more long-term residents, and some were being evicted/kicked out.)This review is for my room alone, however I know that my other family members had the same concerns (non-smoking rooms that smell like smoke, frustrating interactions with front desk) and other issues including doors that wouldn't close properly (i.e., RM 230). Personally, I wouldn't reserve with this Days Inn again and would opt to pay a little extra for another hotel in the area until the issues above are resolved.

it's a little ridiculous that we have to put a $100 deposit down after booking our room and then be told it takes 2-10 business days to be reimbursed. I've never had to do this at any other hotel before. Also, said the rooms were non-smoking yet it smelled like cigarettes in the room. I would not really recommend this hotel unless you are in a bind and cannot find anywhere else in the area to stay and I will not be staying here in the future.

Definitely the best Days Inn I've stayed at in a very long time!Front desk employees were professional, friendly, and very helpful. I travel a lot for work, and for the last few years, most Days Inns are just dirty and look like a poor attempt at remodels, with awful mattresses. This one actually appears to be very clean and recently updated. The chairs, carpet and mattresses look and feel new and my feet didn't feel nasty and turn black after walking across the room. The mini fridge and microwave were clean, and ready to use, TV is modern, and linens fit the bed and aren't ripped and stained. The towels even appear new. Also appears to be quiet. As you can tell, the last few Days Inn locations where I've stayed were just pathetic, so I am very pleasantly surprised!

Extremely disappointed.Room smelled very bad. Some lights did not work in room. Pool closed. Truck noise all night from lot behind place. Vehicle covered in dust in morning from trucks in stone lot and construction site.Advised management and emailed owner no response no refund or even partial refund they want a 100. Room deposit that's insane compared to any other do not stay here unless you want to waste your money and get no sleep!!!!!!!
