About District 40
District 40 is a comfortable theater with comfy, heated, and reclining seats, offering stellar viewing from any spot. It features excellent sound quality, throwback movies, Mystery Movies, and interactive movies, making movie-going an experience. The atmosphere is great with a good choice of amenities like an awesome beer wall. The workers are super nice and efficient. While the screens could be larger and the bathrooms are noted as too far from the theaters, it has made big advancements, seems safer, and is a great transformation of the old mall. The movies remain the biggest draw.

Only place I go to see movies in Frederick! Good food options great snacks and popcorn great seats then you can reserve in advance so you can sit exactly where you want to sit etc..... I can't remember the last time I went over to the Westview Promenade

Favorite theater... It's like a bar, with taps you get to pick what beers you want to try, serve yourself, they've got regular movie theater food and some more substantial stuff if you're hungrier.
