GTC Rock Shop is a wonderful place with a large variety of gemstones, fossils, crystals, shells, and rocks. It offers a really good and large selection of very interesting and colorful specimens, including rough stone, tumbled stones, polished specimens, and geodes, available at very good prices. The shop features one of the area's largest varieties, with everything from tumbling-size pieces to larger stones for cutting. Visitors can see a nice display of Labradorite showing iridescent colors. It is a good place for Christmas presents. The shop also has a Science Education Center for education, with more educational resources being added. It is open for public classes, speaker events, and private events like birthday parties and school field trips. The staff is nice, super knowledgeable, and excited to talk about and teach anything. They can help identify rocks. The gem mining sluice is available for the public on weekends and for programs. This is a store with so much to see, learn, and purchase, and you can't rush through it.
Awesome place. Lots of amazing rocks, and fossils. My daughter loves to open geodes, and the sand sifting 🪨 Lots of neat educational stuff as well for kids 📚 Owner is super funny 😁 This place is truly a real gem 💎

Wonderful place, large variety of gemstones and fossils. They were also nice to my kid when he was deciding what he truly wanted.
