**Avoid This Dealership, don’t trust the positive reviews! They beg everyone who walks in the door for a 5 star review and text them a link to make it simple. They will lie to you and scam you if given the opportunity !**After I posted a one star review Hi-Lo finally reached out to me after previously refusing to engage with me when I discovered they had lied to me and sold me a vehicle that had been in an accident and need thousands of dollars of electronic sensors and radar in the rear bumper. This was after they swore up and down during the sales process that the only issue was a single sensor that was faulty and would be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. It seems having their treachery laid bare in a business review got their attention. They offered to pay me $2,000 to ‘help them out’ with the review I posted. In order for them to mail the check, they made me take down my review. I accepted the money and took down my review, but the repairs to the Kia Telluride they sold me will cost over $3,800 according to a quote from my local Kia dealership. By my math, their lies and scam still cost me $1,800 for repairs, and I have a vehicle which has been in a accident, even though they told me when I bought it it had never been in one and had a clean record. They claimed their repairs manager mis-diagnosed the vehicle, and this was all a big mistake. I don’t believe a word of that explanation. If they were interested in being honest and doing the right thing they would have worked with me to come to a resolution when I reached out with the problem, instead of ignoring me until I left them a negative review. The only resolution at this point would be to pay me the remaining $1,800 the repairs will cost me.Here are a few things I learned about buying a used car during this process:If the dealer includes an agreement for required arbitration in the sales contract, run immediately! They got me to sign one when I bought the Telluride from them. This effectively prevents you from taking them to small claims court and having a judge hear and decide a ruling in your dispute. Instead, you are required to hire a third party arbitrator to hear the arguments and make a ruling. This will cost much more than small claims court, as you will undoubtedly need an attorney and you have to pay the third party arbitrator. In addition, you are less likely to get a fair decision from an arbitrator as they rely on lawsuits to make money. Businesses who get sued often, and have required arbitration agreements are a big source of the arbitrators business. This is obviously a conflict of interest and tips the scales in the dealerships favor.Always, always, always take a used vehicle to a mechanic you trust to look it over prior to purchasing. If the dealership will not allow a pre-purchase inspection- run immediately! They may be trying to hide issues with the vehicle.In summary- even though they made a partial payment to me, Hi-Lo auto sales still deserves a 1 star review and potential customers still deserve to know how they too may be treated at this dealership.

When I say that Desia and the sales manager are sincerely willing to go the extra mile...... I have never had such a stress free time when it comes to car shopping. These good people are the truth, I don't think I will go anywhere else for another vehicle again. Thank you to Desia and the staff at the Frederick Urbana Pike location

Cameron is absolutely the BEST salesman Ive ever dealt with! He and Hi-Lo will definitely be my go to place from now on. It was definitely worth the 2hr and 45 minute drive it took me to get there from WV. They were all super easy to deal with, and left with exactly what i wanted! They are an extremely giving and heartfelt Auto Dealer, they donate to less fortunate kids and thats an additional reason that ill be goin back for my next purchase!

Desia was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. She stayed late on 2 different occasions and went the extra mile to see that we were happy at every turn. Because of her I will not only use you in the future but will send all my friends and family to Hi-Lo on 355.

I’ve gotten my last three cars from here and my experience was always excellent.This time my credit was the worst it’s been and i was nervous I couldn’t get what I wanted. Desia changed that quickly. It was probably my best experience at any dealership. She was determined and authentic. Effortless to work with. Very happy! And on Black Friday ontop that!!!!! 10/10

Desia was great! I have a low tolerance for pushy car salespeople and she had just the right mix of being on top of our needs and giving us space. I told her our "must haves" and, while they didn't have a good car for us right away, she called within a week or so when the right one came in. After we bought it, we noticed a couple of issues and the team at HiLo fixed them all with no problem. This is the second car we have bought from HiLo and will probably be back again someday!

I have purchased two vehicles from Hi-Lo, and they do not disappoint! Prices are very competitive, and they are easy to work with. On my latest purchase, Desia did an excellent job communicating with me, and even went above and beyond after the sale to help retrieve a couple missing items from my trade in.I highly recommend using these folks for your next car purchase! As for me and my family, we are definitely Hi-Lo lifers!

Ken was very kind and professional. I was treated with respect. I was shopping around my Subaru to sell. I got a low-ball offer from Carmax. Went across the street to Hi-Lo Auto. Ken offered to buy my car for what I considered a fair price . The process was very easy.

I went into my car search not knowing what I even wanted. Desia was super helpful with allowing me to test drive whatever I wanted to help me start to figure out a car I wanted. She was really patient and helpful the whole time. It was one of the best experiences I had at a dealership !

I was recommended Hi-Lo Auto Sales by a buddy at the gym. Had never heard of them before. My friend tells me he bought a car there and has sent many people in the past, all with happy results. I met Cameron Brenchley at the Urbana Pike shop and he impressed me by being honest, pleasant and very low-key. Came back a few days later, test drove a used car and purchased it! Dealing with Cameron and then later, with Allen Persaud (the "scary guy" in the back) was a pleasure. When Allen gave me a bit of the history of Hi-Lo, family owned business, local farm family, it all made sense and made me double pleased at giving them my business. Highly Recommended!!!

Very overdue review but honestly the worst experience buying a car. Everyone seemed very nice and nothing against desia because she was very helpful but this establishment 100% sold me a car with pre-existing issues. battery died and a coolant leak became apparent only 2 weeks after getting the car. also problems with the oil and the RPM. took it to the repair shop associated with the dealership and was told nothing was wrong. the problems continued , a few months later i take it back and they find the coolant leak. they “fixed” the leak but next day the coolant was back down to the minimum level. took it back and now it’s the water pump - which was never noted or mentioned until after they attempt to fix the leak. communication is lacking even from management as i’ve messaged them multiple times and yet to get a response or direct solution. very frustrating and definitely don’t recommend spending money here.

Bought a truck from Desia with Hi Lo a few weeks ago after much searching. The experience at Hi Lo was generally great, aside from the truck not initially being ready for my scheduled test drive, and I felt little pressure from Desia to buy (which was a relief after other dealers). She was very helpful and kind. Financing was easy and they stayed open late to finish everything so I could take the truck same day.
