We went into Kay’s because the Leo diamond on my ring was loose. We live in a remote location in Alaska and are not able to get the ring serviced there. We are visiting for a limited time as was told it would not be ready until January 11th. They didn’t even try to problem solve. We walked across the street to Jared worried that I couldn’t get my ring serviced. As soon as we walked in Alexis came to the rescue. Not only is my ring going to be ready before we leave, she made some recommendations to reinforce the diamond. While we waited Rebecca and Beth helped me find my husband a beautiful gold chain for Christmas. They helped me find the best one based off my price range. My husband and I will be back there for any future jewelry purchases and inspection service. Thank you so much.

My favorite jewelry store in Frederick is Jared because everyone there is incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. I’m especially grateful for Nick, who makes every experience easier and smoother. As a big fan of LeVian and Shy Creation, I appreciate how well Nick knows my style—he even gives me a call if something special comes in, if there’s an upcoming jewelry show, or if I simply need a repair or resizing. Nick was fantastic! I went to multiple places to find the perfect engagement ring and the service was not impressive. When I went to Jared, I was immediately greeted by Nick and over the course of 18 months he stuck by my side, knowing exactly what she wanted, if not for Nick, my proposal to my now wife would have never happened. Even when I put him in a time crunch, Nick came through so in my opinion, he should be the face of Jared.

Most of the staff are very friendly and the store is clean and organized. However, I did not have a pleasant experience Saturday with one gentleman, and he unfortunately didn’t tell me his name - his an Asian male who wears a lot of rings. My husband bought my white gold ring in 2022 and ever since, I go to Jared time to time to get my ring cleaned and inspected. I was just told recently because it’s white gold, it can turn yellow so I needed to do some sort of treatment on it. When I told this to the man, he seemed disgusted that I hadn’t gotten this treatment on my ring yet. He kept repeating my ring looked “fine” and “good” considering I hadn’t gotten said treatment. Considering his tone and the fact that he seemed disgusted, I told him I was recently informed the ring needed this treatment. He rudely said, that’s not good, and laughed sarcastically. I won’t be letting this gentleman help me anymore when I go in, considering he insulted me and the ring my husband worked hard to get.
