Lidl has very good croissants and European style baked goods, and prices for vegetables and fruits are good. It is not as wide a selection as larger stores but the quality is good with an interesting variety of German frozen dishes.

Produce can be hit or miss, but cheaper and generally better than the local chains. Needs more than one cashier lane open - went on a Sat afternoon and a Sun morning and only one person was working.
