No one there is helpful or knowledgeable about the products. They ask if you need help and then aren't able to be helpful. Good bye to Best Buy and here I come Amazon

Zero star. I went to a different location in Rockville, MD and asked to buy cartridges for my printer. I forgot to check the model number so I gave them my printer model HP 6400 envy. They gave me #64 cartridges to bring home with just to found out it was wrong one for my printer, it was supposed to be 67XL. So I came to this Best Buy location which is closer to home and hoping I would get better service and asked if I can exchange it to the right model, since I don't have a receipt, but I paid it with Apple Pay which they should be able to track it in the system. After looking at the screen for a bit, the manager at the front, was a preggo had informed me that I cannot exchange it because I didn't have a receipt. I told them threw the cartridges in the trash can, and I left.

I just purchased a head set for my tv at the Best Buy in Frederick, MD. We went to best buy because we have had problems with other stores with "off the shelf" items. Of the no less the 10 employees that I saw walking around the store (texting and ?) I got four to talk to me. One had no clue, two sent us on a goose chase and the fourth checked us out. I would think that Best Buy would take more pride in customer service. None was offered. When I asked questions, I got a deer in the headlights look (you talkin to me). I assume Best Buy Operates on a trial and error method. I will try these head phones and if they don't function I will take them back. no sense in trying to get help, it doesn't exist.

Ordered a product online. Says it comes in today. "Preparing for pickup" I called the local store number. They said it's still in transit and I'll get an email. I said can't you just look on the desk or in the shelf, it says it's in today. Well, turns out that they don't even have local store numbers, you can't call your local best buy. Very frustrating.

Buyer beware, this location must be under new management because they are atrocious. Tonight was the second time in two weeks that I have placed an order and gone to the Frederick location to have them give me damaged Apple goods. Two weeks ago it was a $1,000 iPad Pro with a huge dent in the corner of the box and tonight was an Apple Watch with the outer carton ripped open. In both cases the BB rep handing me the product showed no concern when I pointed the damage out and said just bring it back if there is anything wrong with it. Even after asking for a manager they became rude. The girl tonight practically yelled at me, taking the inner packaging out and saying, see it's still sealed. I wonder how Apple would feel about BB taking care of their customers like this. This year alone, I have purchased a MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch, and I am a Totaltech member so you would think they would treat me better. Twice is enough, I won't be returning to this store. J

Very disappointed with Best Buy. Bought a high ticket item for Christmas and the advertised included items were not included. Worked with Best Buy for 2 hours and all I could get was, well you'll have to contact the manufacturer cause that comes from them. I didn't buy it from the manufacturer, I bought it from Best Buy. Done....I will go to the manufacturer and not back to Best Buy for anything

We typically find what we are looking for here--both appliance and electronics wise. Today we were looking at TVs and loved the Oled Evo LG TV. The TVs are fantastic. I love the interactive experience you get looking at TVs at Best Buy. Plus, we were able to do side-by-side comparisons of the Bose and Sonos sound bars. The sales reps were knowledgeable about their specific products and gave us some good advice on installation. Seeing the TVs in person really helped--versus just seeing pictures online. This is a product that you really need an in-person, interactive experience for!

POS delivery and install services. POS customer service. POS company all around. Do not trust you time, wallet or home with the contractors that Best Buy Fredericks hires to handle their installations and deliveries. We have NEVER had a positive experience dealing with any sort of delivery from them. We were supposed to have our dishwasher delivered today between 1 and 4 -- AFTER waiting a month and a half to receive it. The delivery man called us at 11:30 AM to see if he could come at 12. We said we were unable to make that work and they they needed to come during their SCHEDULED WINDOW of 1-4PM. He decided to mark us as "Not home" and cancel the delivery because he could not wait until our delivery window-- then proceeded to NOT TELL US HE WAS CANCELLING ENTIRELY. The first best buy customer service person we spoke with around 2PM or so (we were looking for a delivery time update because we had reached back out to this man and his phone was off) told us they were unable to reach the delivery person to get an update on the ETA. They said technically it could still be delivered as late as 8PM. Waiting, waiting waiting.... We called again at 7:50PM and spoke to another customer service representative and found out that we had been marked as "not home" ........Even though I work from home and have been home ALL DAY. Previous experiences include leaving wires exposed causing electrical fire hazards. Our hallway was also completely destroyed with holes during a delivery and nothing was every done to fix that situation-- we called multiple times and were never able to get anyone to help us to resolve the matter.

Went there Saturday to pick up a Apple Watch my wife's brother bought from them went there today Friday almost 6 days later to get the watch fixed screen broken long story short first went in lady at the counter was like ok we can return the watch after telling her it was broken she goes the watch is still paired to the phone so tried unpairing watch couldn't do it they say go to the mobile place for help I go there the first thing the guy behind the counter says is watch is broken we're not returning it I proceeded to tell him that I just need the watch unpaired he says it is already unpaired witch he obviously didn't know how to unpair it so go on my phone on YouTube find out how to unpair it did that so there was a lady there listening to the conversation we were having I go back to store pick up she comes over and literally starts yelling in my face he already told you we are not returning the watch what are you coming over here for blah blah I said to her let me speak to the manager she goes he is one I said one higher then him so the other manager comes over starts to go on about how theres nothing they can do that I can sign up for a Best Buy gift card if I want to buy another watch thinking I don't have money or something funny thing is I could of bought 7 watch's if I wanted to so I then tell him why I have insurance on the watch Apple care mind you not one of them asked me do you have Apple care so he tells me go to geek squad I tell him about the lady and he's over there talking laughing with her never in my 27 years have I seen something like this before I would never do Business with them again I go to geek squad and the lady there new what she was doing and helped me with everything I came there for from the beginning

Bo and Devon came from the Geek Squad to install 3 TVs and the mounts. They did a great job! They were super professional, super knowledgeable and super friendly. They asked permission before doing things and had a truck stocked full of alternate things we might need (and we did). Time efficient during the job and they arrived exactly when they said they would. We are glad we didn't try to mount these TVs ourselves. These 2 are masters of their trade. Give 'em a raise Best Buy!!

I came into Best Buy in Frederick because my iPhone was defective. I had been scrambling all morning to have the issue resolved. Gerardo assisted me. He was courteous, multi-tasked with other customers and had a patient temperament. One could clearly tell that his affect is destined for customer service. He asked me multiple questions and took the time to fight the root cause of the problem. I can't thank him enough for what was an incredibly stressful day initially, turning into a seamless experience! Continued support and kudos to Best Buy in hiring professional staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about their technical subject matter expertise. I will definitely recommend them for future business!

My second unhappy experience with Best Buy. Was talked into buying a new Galaxy phone. Told my Samsung phone was getting old. Phone was order and received week later. They stated I had 14 days to return. Three days later I tried to return $600 phone and they found a small crack. No could not do anything for me. Must keep the phone. Will not buy anything from them again.

Just use Amazon. This store sucks. They don't know customer service and after spending days on the phone and weeks I'm still waiting for Christmas gifts in January. WTF? Again on the phone and went to the store. They don't have the item. They said it was pulled but they pulled a PlayStation game instead of the actual item I bought. Morons. The managers are as inept as the staff. I stopped shopping here years ago. I am now remembering why. 2 months for Christmas gifts that I wasn't able to get in time but they sure did get their money. I even drove to 3 cities because they promised me they'd pull the items. And guess what... when I arrived.., YELP... they didn't have them there either. So I tried calling the Frederick store. Stayed on hold for 2 hours till the line disconnected. I wasn't really just sitting there waiting ... I do have other things to do. I just left it on speaker as I ran errands, cleaned and went to the post office. No one ever answered. It clicked as those it was ringing through and a couple times it rang and paused but no one ever picked up. I spent an hour on a chat and then was disconnected... my issue still unresolved. I FN hate Best Buy more than Anal pillaging.

You better know what you are buying because you will pay the price if you do not! This review goes for all Best Buys regarding their 15% restocking fee. But Frederick was the one who charged me the 15% restocking fee on a $750 camera that did not end up working out for me. It was not broken, it just did not fit my needs. So because of that they charged me $105 dollars simply for not buying the right product. They will tell you "it's the police" Yes it is and if you want to know what a dying company looks like, its best buy. 15% is a lot of money and it sure doesn't cost that much to "restock" a camera. They are trying to stay afloat but they are going about it the wrong way. It's these policies that are putting them out of business, and from now on I will be buying from amazon, because returns with them are %100 free. They even pay for the shipping!
