People are nice and stuff but everything just throws you off. 1. The Atm ate one of my checks and didn’t deposit the check and then didn’t give me the check back once it didn’t go through. 2. I called about this and talked to one of the associates there and they said “There’s nothing they can do about it.” Then I call PNC themselves and they said “The branch schedules the time and date for the service to come.” Listen you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to open up an atm and find a check but i don’t know if these people are just lazy or what but just unhelpful at all.

I’m a longtime PNC client and needed a Medallion signature on a form. After 10 minutes of interrogation, they decided they couldn’t give me the Medallion on the type of form I have and that I should go to the institution which is asking me to sign the form. That is 100% not how it works.

I don't think that I have ever given a one star review for an institution--and I have tried to be patient and overlook all the snafus that have happened with PNC bank and this location. (I think the polices are due to corporate...and not the employees who work there.) We've been clients for over 10 years--with multiple accounts. The Urbana location did away with their drive-throughs (which would have been very helpful during COVID). Then they did away with their only ATM machine that reads checks with any consistency. When we needed to get a Medallion Signature Guarantee stamp--there was a lot of confusion at PNC, and several people working there weren't even familiar with what a Medallion Signature Guarantee stamp is. We have another local PNC location in the Giant food store, but now the "tellers" who work there can't handle any transactions (or so they told me). They can only show customers how to use the ATM and sell financial products. The final straw was when they told us that our free safety deposit box was going to cost, and they never informed us in advance of that change. PNC seems to be stepping backward instead of improving processes. PNC management or the corporate people clearly don't understand what is important to their customers.

Rude employees! They refused to cash a check that their account holder wrote to me, because I don't bank with them. Why would I want to bank with an institution with that attitude?!

The folks working at this particular branch are some of the nicest and most considerate that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are never short on cheer nor are they ever reluctant to help you in any way. Keep up the good work. I appreciate you guys!
