Hectic and rude staff. I made an appointment for 1:30 today (8/2) I got there early to choose a color and almost 10 minutes later I was told to have a seat and they would get to me when they can. I told the girl I had an appointment at 1:30 and she repeated “go have a seat” A staff member also bumped into me and didn’t say sorry or anything. Very rude and uninviting overall

We had two mother daughter nail salon experiences at Rose Nail Salon. Clean, fun nail art possibilities, and relaxing.

I have been coming here with my daughters for years. The owner is super sweet and all of the nail techs are FANTASTIC! Kelly, Helen, and Lily did our nails most recently. Each tech took their time with shaping the nails, and really doing an amazing job with the designs we requested. I’ve never had a bad service here. I recommend anyone in Frederick to visit rose nails. They even have cute pedicure chairs for little ones, perfect for a mommy/daughter date. 10/10.

Went on Tues for a manicure & pedicure. Pedicure was ok except color on nails has already turned kind of orange-ish. Don’t know if it was old polish or what. Same person did my manicure, except she never took me to a manicure table. She just had me put my hands on the armrest and did my manicure in the chair while my pedicure dried. Nails are different lengths and polish just doesn’t look great. She seemed very rushed. Will be removing fingernail polish and doing my own. All this for $70 plus tip!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Have to say tho, previous appt was good! Different manicurist did gel polish and it was beautiful.

Started coming to Rose Nails after moving to the area. I've had my pedicure and manicures with different technicians and found that some are better than others. Most recently I had a pedicure with Lee and I have to say she made me feet look more healthy and natural than most. Helen has been wonderful with my liquid gel manicures and has encouraged me to try different styles other than the French manicure I am used to having. I truly appreciate the extra effort both of these ladies have put forth in my self care.

I was able to walk-in with my 7yr old and they immediately helped her pick out her color and gave her a great manicure! Definitely would recommend. Very friendly

The ladies were very nice but this place was disappointing to us. My daughters and I had our nails done yesterday and our nails have already started to peel off. After spending the amount I did, this is upsetting.

Before traveling out of state for a special event, my perfectly healthy (but unpolished) feet had their very first pedicure. Unfortunately, I went to Rose on Toll House in Frederick. I left disappointed, because even though I sprang for the top-tier pedi and specifically asked about callous removal, I still had to get home and finish the callous removal. Bummer… And a sign of things to come.
So I had a gel polish, and my toes look pretty. Within 3 days, half the polish popped off of one toe. The others lasted for a good long while. Well, when the polish came off for good, my right baby toenail looked different. It turns out that my first pedicure came with a bonus: toenail fungus!!! I have since lost the nail on that toe. My left big toe is losing its nail, too. The baby toenail (the ENTIRE nail) fell off painlessly. Unfortunately, my left big toe hurts. A lot. So my pedicure treat also costs the price of podiatry care. And I’m told that toenail fungus, in addition to being gross, is next to impossible to cure.
In short, I am sorry I ever walked through the door to this place. In all likelihood, I’m literally scarred for life. Save yourself. Don’t go.

The day before my birthday I went to Rose Nails Spa with my Grandma. The people polishing my nails acted like they were in a rush to get everything finished. My nails were a little dry. They put my hands in a liquid, then started cutting my cuticles really fast, and cut my finger nail! I felt the pain of my finger almost instantly, then I started to get really nauseous and dizzy from the blood of my finger nail and all the smells. They kept pouring alcohol while pressing hard on my nail and it just kept bleeding! I felt horrible. After a little while it all got to be too much, so then I just fainted. Someone nearby called 911 and I was rushed to the hospital. My Grandma finally headed back to the salon to see if she could get our money back. But they said I cut my nails and they have cameras to prove that they didn’t cut my nails. This terrible experience made me never want to go back to this nail salon or any other ever again.

Nothing special. Basic. My particular nail specialist was very impatient with my requests and had attitude. It also lasted only a few hours.
