I visited this Ross location in Frederick MD on Saturday July 13. When at the checkout line I was approached by a lady who was very angry about having to make a long line to pay 1 item, she tried to cut into the line in front of me, which I politely declined informing her that everyone behind me (at least 10 more people) only had one or two items to pay for, she proceeded to make a fuss, throw things in the vecinity to the floor, kick them, she then proceeded to insult me in multiple ways before proceeding to continue to bully other people into letting her cut into the line. She continued to behave aggressively towards me for the rest of the time we were in line, which was easily more than 20 minutes.
The whole time there was no security staff to be found anywhere. As an individual with a disability I was beyond distressed, my service dog continously alerting me of a potential medical emergency due to the distress I was facing.
I will not be returning to this location and recommend others be wary of going there, other Ross locations have security staff.

This is your basic Ross store. Cashiers do their jobs. Most are barely/marginally polite. But it's a Ross, so I don't really expect more.
The main problem I have is with the two men who I think are managers. They both appear to be (I'm guessing) South Asian (Indian, Pakistani???) or maybe Middle Eastern. One has grey hair. The other has dark hair that looks like he cuts himself (especially in the back). Both come across as rude and mean. The grey hair man is dismissive to customers. It's clear that he thinks this job is beneath him and he takes his frustration out on customers by being condescending and rude. He is also rude and mean to his staff, sometimes reprimanding them in front of customers. The dark hair man is also rude, but he also gives you a death stare, like he wants to kill you. Very scary! How did these two ever get jobs at managers??!! I would suggest they get some managerial training, but it's clear from their behavior that they just don't want to be there and they despise Ross customers. In short, they don't belong in customer service. I feel sorry for the staff there. As for me, if either of these men is the next available cashier, I always let someone else go ahead of me so I don't have to experience their arrogance, meanness, rudeness, and hostility. It's a relief when neither of these two men are there. I can shop and check out without having to see or deal with their negativity.

It's a shame that the merchandise was disorganized, people do not respect the spaces designated for them.

I don't even know how they're still open. Smh. Their racks are bare, I mean, you can literally count the number of clothing items. There are barely any cosmetics, children's shoe rack....empty. I don't know if it just so happen that every time I go in there, it's empty, but yea, no, lol, I doubt it! Whoever their vendors are, need to step their game up??♀️

I went there on Friday to shop and encountered a employee when checking out who apparently didn't want to be there. Her greeting was non-engaging nor was her demeanor. If you don't have customer service skill then work behind the scenes.
