This is my second experience with Safelite AutoGlass. My first visit was in Hagerstown, MD and more recently (01.30.24) I visited Frederick, MD. The first time they had to replace my entire windshield on a 2013 Prius and the second time they had to repair a ding in my 2023 Prius, so I have had experience with both a Repair and Replacement. Both times I had a great experience. JEN checked me in and confirmed the repair was covered by my car insurance, while DWAYNE worked on filling the ding. There was a TV and coffee station in the lounge area and I barely got situated and my windshield was ready. It was less than 15 minutes; I was happily surprised it was a simple fix. Attached are before and after photos of the ding. It is normal to still be able to see small lines after repair. I was also told if the ding changed into a crack and started traveling across my windshield, they would replace the windshield and it would be covered. Win-Win!!

No matter how many times you say "Questions about an upcoming appointment", the WORTHLESS phone tree directs you to "Questions about a completed service". What the heck is the point of a phone tree with automated features that DON'T WORK!? Then on hold is just silence, so you don't know if you're in the abyss or actually waiting for someone. Oh and if it doesn't understand you, it just says BYE and hangs up on you instead of actually directing you to someone who can help. Cancelling my appointment and going somewhere else. AND THEN AFTER WAITING ON HOLD FOR 7 MINUTES IT JUST HUNG UP ON ME.

Had my first windshield replacement back in October. About a month later the rear view mirror fell off so I scheduled a warranty appointment. After the warranty appointment, I noticed my A pillar trim was all butchered up, seals were put on in a shotty looking manner, rain sensing wipers don’t work, and the rear view mirror is still absurdly lose. The manager told me he was going to be ordering the parts to fix it. But now a month later, parts are still magically on “back order”. I do not find this to be an acceptable response and hope this location reaches out to me soon with a solution.Update: getting work done tomorrow so will give them a chance to make things right.

Tesla windshield has a crack. I submitted all my info and was scheduled. Got a call the windshield has to be ordered and appointment was rescheduled. Dropped off vehicle and took an Lyft home $35. A couple of hours later I get call warehouse sent wrong windshield and I would need to reschedule. So after spending about $80 on ride shares I give up and will take it back to Tesla. They were very polite.

Nice online ordering system. Easy to use and no need to interact with a human. Both email and text messages from order time to installation finish. Cheaper to go to shop ten on site repair. However, time is money so on site repair could be worth it. They do all car window glass including car door glass not just windshield.

Came in day before service to drop off vehicle. Was told windshield was damaged and not available. Very outdated place and slow inflexible process/system. Poor customer service. Go someplace else.

Appointments for mobile service were too far out. Over a week out! Quote was expensive too. Found a mobile service who was able to repair my window within 24 hour for half the price!

Two weeks after moving to Frederick, a tree branch fell on the top right corner of my truck's windshield, cracking it severely. My insurance referred me here. The service was professional and excellent in all regards. They took great care to reinstall my after-market car alarm receiver and the entire job took about an hour from check in to check out.

The web site made it easy to estimate the cost of windshield replacement for my specific vehicle and to schedule an appointment convenient to me. The mobile service option is reasonably priced but I opted to drop off my vehicle for service as it is located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Two hours later, I was on my way home with a new windshield that looks like it was installed at the factory!

This was my second service using Safelite (my first time at the Frederick location); one windshield replacement and one repair. The service only took about 30 minutes, and the damage is barely noticeable. The technicians were professional and efficient, providing me all the information I needed to know prior to the repair. Checking out was too easy, as Dwayne handled my insurance claim for me, answering all questions that I had. Jen's customer service is top notch and she is super friendly! Will absolutely return (in the case of another unfortunate event)
