**Update** The District Manager McKinley was very apologetic and more than made up for this. We were able to completely start over with better service and new paint.

Original Post - We Went there this morning 9/28. We are repainting our kitchen cabinets which is a huge project for us. We went to this Sherwin Williams because we were looking for advice on which kind of paint to use. We were met with a lethargic disinterested woman who gave us a recommendation and when we asked why, she said she actually didn’t know and directed us to the advisory board. We were very confused and walked back up the counter hoping someone else was in the back. A man came out and we asked the woman if he knows about the paints and she said yes. She asked him if he could help us and he said “I don’t care.” We then asked him which paint to use, he gave a recommendation and we asked about the the recommendation the woman made, he said “Do whatever you want, it’s your kitchen.” I really expected more from Sherwin Williams. I remember the old commercial “Ask Sherwin Williams.” My how the mighty have fallen. This location needs some better employees who actually care about their job and helping others.

Adrian a young female employee at this location has horrible customer service and a lack of knowledge and ability to advise people. She is very rude and disrespectful when talking to you and has no interpersonal skills. She should find a different job. Honestly if she’s here next time I come in I plan on finding a different SW store. She provides a horrible customer experience. Super disappointing.

So lucky to meet the Winter Sale - 30% off Paints & 15% off Paint Supplies.The painter guy is very interesting. Although his posture is lazy, he is very enthusiastic and his explanations are also very professional and meticulous. Just seeing our non-native faces, the younger brother hesitated for a long time and asked: Where are you two from? Hahahahaha.

My husband went to this location today and unfortunately the two white male employees that were working felt it was appropriate to make fun of the hispanic man also working there because he was unsure about a product. Saying in a fake Spanish accent "i thought we made it clear about that" they continued to make fun of him and continue to talk to him in a fake broken english accent and watch him walk around confused looking for the product. This is completely inappropriate under any circumstances but especially because he appeared to be a newer employee and was likely hired since he speaks Spanish to communicate with the high percentage of Spanish speaking customers coming to this store. Not only did the employee appear to be uncomfortable with the situation but in addition my husband felt strongly enough about the situation to come home and tell me how uncomfortable it was and how embarrassed he was for the situation. I hope that employee knows his worth and can find a better opportunity.

I come here fairly often and usually have a nice experience. Today, Amy helped us to pick out a tricky color and provided amazing customer service- she was a great consultant. I sincerely appreciated her! Edit- we went home with a sample color and she did a custom tint based on a gallon we had already purchased. I put them both on the wall and both colors were lovely! She really knew what we wanted based on what we had shared. Ultimately, the custom tint she did was the winner- saving us time and money. Thank you, again Amy!!

Dec. 26, 2022 - Take time to build a good relationship with the folks working at Sherwin -Williams. . . it’s worth it! They take good care of you!My home store is in Maine. But when I’m in town visiting my daughters, I tend to stay with the S-W brand of paint! I also happened to re-connect with one of my former high school students who’s working part time ! Nice to “ catch up” , he’s married & working Park Police as his primary career.He took good care of my paint needs, and painting supplies! I like a friendly personnel connection with local businesses!It’s a high quality paint, a bit pricey, but if you build the relationships, you often can receive good deals with discounts on the paint! Larry was awesome, I walked into the store clueless, so many color palettes to choose. I wanted a bluish -gray theme. Larry was very patient, and he made a stressful task enjoyable.

awesome experience! Will was my store representative who helped me out a ton great employee! I was trying to find some paint to finish up a home project i’ve been working for awhile but not sure what to look for, Will explained to me all the different kinds of paints and their properties and even helped me with a sample. Nice clean store too, Will was very friendly and made me feel confident about my decision, thank you sherwin !

I called before I went here and they were polite and told me they could help me with my issue. When I got there in person, some older lady was very rude to me and acted like I was just an annoyance. I walked out because I am not giving business to a place with unprofessional staff. Don’t waste your time going here.

Friendly staff with great knowledge of their products who provide top notch service. It's a nice alternative to the big box stores.
