Kathryn Bitter was absolutely amazing. Purchasing our new CR-V was the least stressful car buying experience we have had to date. They were fair in pricing and worked with us to negotiate at every step of the way. Would definitely recommend Ourisman of Fredrick and specially Kathryn to anyone looking to buy a Honda.

I’m sorry to say Don’t go to Shockley Honda to buy new car for any reason. They are horrible! I bought a new 2020 odyssey November and then I have so many problems with that van they installed DVD player and they broke battery hooks and 4 time I returned this van for same problem and every time they not fix properly and something wrong. And I call manager he said this third party installed so that’s not us . When I bought that time they promised everything they take car and now they saying this is third party problem so I like to return this car back and I need my money back . And lemon law that have if is same problem in 30 days then you can return car back to dealer but he said he cannot give money back and also this car it’s have finishing is not good body not properly fitted and rubber are loose and DVD player wires are they did then they not close body properly and they said they don’t know lemon law. So I need to talk with vise president of Honda then I need to ask him . What is law..!I have uploaded pictures on photo they can see how is service they give you..😡

Very Disappointed – Refused Service by General Manager
I am a loyal customer of Ourisman Honda Frederick and have purchased two brand-new vehicles from this dealership — a 2020 Honda Odyssey and a 2024 Honda Accord.
Recently, I scheduled a service appointment and dropped off my vehicle as planned. About an hour later, I received a call saying I needed to pick up my vehicle because the General Manager decided not to service it.
What’s even more disappointing is that this same General Manager previously worked at Toyota DARCARS, where I had a similar bad experience with him. When he started working at Honda, I met him again and decided to give him and the dealership another chance — but now he’s doing the same thing again.
I was told that the reason for refusing service was because I had left an honest negative review in the past when I was treated poorly. It’s unacceptable and unprofessional for a dealership to deny service to a returning customer just because of a review — especially after buying two new vehicles from them.

My wife and I made a appointment to see a new 2026 Honda Civic Sport Hybrid and when we showed up there was some confusion but without skipping a beat Kathryn Bitter jumped up and gave us the red carpet. She treated us great didn't try and hustle us at all. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating. She made it easy and smooth. In and out. I'd recommend her all day.

I’ve worked with Justin Breeden many times over the years between Honda and Mercedes, and he provides top tier service. From doing all the paperwork online and not having to wait in a dealership, to Justin delivering my dads car to our house, I couldn’t ask for a better experience (however Justin always goes above and beyond so I’m not surprised). The payment, protection plans, and all the other options surpassed my expectations and I can’t wait for my next car purchase! Thanks for all you do Justin!! You’re the best!!

My husband and I bought both a new and used car in the past month. We worked with Pierre Ndiaye, Jay Shrestha, and Shaun Rollin. They were all terrific to work with. No hard sell; they just worked with us to make sure we were satisfied with our purchases. I highly recommend this dealership.

I normally hate dealerships, but this place is pretty solid. Chris, the manager heard the problems I was having with my new car and took care of me w/ an oil change and a wash for free. Long story short, the manufacturer over torqued the skid plate screws and I stripped one of the heads.

For years I brought my car to Shockley Honda for service and was always very pleased. Since they have been bought by Ourisman, the Service is horrible. DO NOT LET THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE. They do not know what they are doing and they don’t seem to care. This is NOT your former Shockley service department that was trusted by Frederick area families for many years.

Surprised to see a 3% processibg fee on credit card payment. Labour charges/repair estimates are way too high compared to other shops. Will not go to this service center.

I am not one to right poor reviews, but this one has cost me a lot of money. When I went to Ourisman Honda of Frederick, I went in with a mindset that it was the best place to get the job done as it is a dealer that has the parts and knows the vehicle. Boy was I wrong.
As I needed my CV Axle’s replaced, an oil change, and some other stuff done, my Honda Ridgeline came out in worse shape than in went in. After $4,000, it made more noises, sounds, and a rougher ride than when I sent it in. Additionally, I look under my truck and I find that my heat shield protecting my exhaust, was peeled back not attached correctly.
So when I took it back, they fixed the heat shield, and they said that my strut was going as well, and that was going to have to be replaced as well, which they estimated another $3,000. They said that everything else looked “good” though. Funny enough, they never mentioned the strut needed fixed in the first estimate.
After getting home with all of the same sounds and noises coming from my truck, my grandfather recommended I check the power steering fluid, just in case. So I did and it was empty. That is negligence. I always made sure that my fluids were filled up, and sure enough it was empty after the work they did (after $4,000).
Additionally, I asked that they do an alignment and balance. After I left, the alignment was not in much better condition than before.
After putting up with the rough riding, and the sounds that came from my truck after the work I got done on it, I finally took my truck to a local Mechanic Shop, and they posted out the issues. That the strut was far gone, and should have been replaced from the beginning, and because of that, my truck needs a new alignment again. Furthermore, the CV Axils Ourisman Honda installed were not “torqued correctly”, and that they need to be fixed due to the negligence by the technicians and mechanics at Ourisman Honda of Frederick. All of this said and done, has cost me thousands more dollars, and put me farther in the hole.
As I thought I would be getting the best care of my truck at Ourisman Honda of Frederick, but what I have learned is that is FAR from the truth. When you take your vehicle to the dealership to get worked on, it will cost you more money than any other place, and after my experience, and other family members and friends experiences at Ourisman Honda, I have not heard positive outcomes or experiences had by friends and family, all while paying more money than any other local shop around.
I will not be going back to get my vehicle worked on here in the future, Norwell my friends are family members, as they have agreed that it is not worth it, and that other local shops are more trustworthy, and will do a better job.
Additionally, I will not be buying a new vehicle here, as the prices and incentives they offer are much higher with a lack of customer service and experience than the other local dealerships as well.
All in all, I am left with not much good to say about any experience I’ve had at the dealership, and unfortunately do not recommend any people looking to get worked on on their vehicle, or to purchase a vehicle at Ourisman Honda of Frederick.
