If you are interested in receiving midwifery care for pregnancy I would recommend going elsewhere. While the midwives and nurse practitioners at this office have been knowledgeable and easy to work with, majority of appointments are not able to be scheduled with delivering midwives due to availability.In addition to this, I've had 3 appointments cancelled by the practice in the last trimester of pregnancy. As a first-time, working, soon-to-be mother who also works in healthcare this has been incredibly frustrating as I've made every effort to schedule early to see the delivering providers. When attempting to reschedule, I was also told that there were no appointments with delivering providers available... at 37 weeks. When the office manager returned my call, she was able to get me scheduled between midwives, a non-delivering NP, and a physician, but again that's not why I came to this practice. They also offered minimal apologies/explanation for the cancellations, scheduling miscommunications, and the fact the Midwifery care is advertised, but not able to be provided at its full extent.I'm really disappointed that this has been my experience with pregnancy, as I did greatly appreciate the gynecological care I'd received in the past (Judy M is wonderful). I would not use this practice again for future pregnancies or recommend to others as I don't feel I was able to get a true midwife experience that I was looking for.

I rarely give gyn 5 stars,but for SMH they deserve it. My wait time was very little. The Dr I saw was wonderful. She spoke to me, asked great questions & put up w/ my poor memory of past medical procedures. :-) I got a very good exam. The instrument they insert was heated & asked if the temp ok. The exam was through & instead of me sitting in the exam room to talk about my exam, we went to her office. When she was done with the exam, she told me that there are wipes & panty liners in a drawer if I needed one.The receptionist was polite, Sweet, said hello & explained everything to me when I was finished. I highly recommend them!!

All of the staff members I interacted with were wonderful. I felt comfortable and my questions were answered and Judy spent time discussing my concerns. I feel like my appointment went very well!

I have been going to this practice since I was a teenager (wayyy back when it was Dr. Muir.) Very efficient, knowledgeable, takes the time to listen to concerns and explains your healthcare in a way you can understand. They have delivered both of my children. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The radiologist took great care of me. I felt comfortable, safe, and she helped take my mind off of my scan. It was quick and she was very professional but also kind and warm. Was much easier than going to a large imaging center.

The African American receptionist on duty 1/15/24 morning must not have been in a good mood because her attitude wasn't job appropriate. However, I've been with the doctors/practitioners for a few years and they are great.

At some point doctor offices actually have to start being accountable for good work practices. It has become impossible to find good service among doctor offices!I've touted this provider as being the best in the area since I moved here but I've slowly come to realize the only reason I prefer them over the other OBGYN office in the area (of which there are only a few), is because they offer a midwife only option when pregnant.However, the office itself is very poorly managed. The phone system is basically non-existent. Of the multiple options on the phone tree available, only the triage will give you a real person. If you try calling to make an appointment, you will not be able to talk to someone! You will have to spend the 5+ minutes going through their extensive phone tree, to wait on a dial, then have to leave a message. It has been like this for the past two years that I've gone here. I have to drive in to the office to make my appointments. They rarely have appointments available within the next two weeks but they also don't open the schedule when it's more than a month and half out approximately.They apparently outsource their billing now, so when you try calling with a billing question you are forwarded to a secondary company also with a 20+ waiting time.As for service, the nurses and midwives always seem rushed and only one or two of them take the time to answer your questions patiently.I understand that the medical field, especially women's care, is flooded in our area. I understand that can make it difficult to keep up. However, people don't have an option to get medical care. And just because other medical offices are disorderly and not patient friendly doesn't mean all offices should feel comfortable sinking to that level.There is no excuse for such extreme poor customer service. Having a phone tree that doesn't actually provide service to your customers is not acceptable. Hire someone just to answer phones if you need.Medical care is too important for clients to be rushed and unappreciated during medical appointments. Please try to provide better service, we don't have options!
