Absolutely the best experience ever! We drove to Frederick for the weekend get away and as faith had it we found parking right in front of this beautiful shop ! From the moment we walked in we were greeted very warmly . We bought gorgeous apricot rose floral candle and cutest faux fern , there is soooooo much to love in that shop . We will definitely come back . We also got so many amazing local recommendations - loved our whole experience there .

Special finds are abundant in this store. Great gifts or treats for yourself. The employee there was so friendly and chatted comfortably with everyone as they entered. There was street parking but the location is an easy walk from a parking garage.

I stumbled upon this cute store while walking through downtown Frederick and am so glad I did. I really needed new jeans and had been dreading going to the mall or ordering online, so when I saw styles from an American made brand with a reasonable price tag, I took the gamble and decided to try on a few. The employees were so nice and helpful while I found the right size. I'll definitely be back!

I have been to this system numerous times when I am in town for work.
Love there clothes. Butttt..... I spent a considerable amount of money and went to return something and was told store credit ONLY!! Never in my shopping experience have i heard of this when u bought the item the day before and have the receipt. I was shown a small sign by the register hidden behind wallets. Then asked did the person who helped me tell you about store returns. I stated No.
I will not shop here anymore. :(

2023, 6Aug.2024 This is a cute, boho chic store in downtown Frederick. This store is always organized and have the friendliest people working in here.
Someone is always keeping the store neat and replenishing the supply. There is always something new and different in here. At the register there is always something there that supports a good cause. The back room is nice as well. Great shopping experience.

I absolutely love this store! You really need to visit when in downtown Frederick. I’m not 100% sure who the owner is but a nice older lady was amazing and so sweet she even let me bring my puppy in when I asked. Great store with a large selection of items you don’t see everyday.

A fresh and fun boho store! I bought some stackable crystal bracelets here that are lovely, and I look forward to returning. Nice staff, unique items, and ultra-feminine styles.

First I want to say that I love both Treaty and their sister store Relish. I frequently shop at both stores for myself and gifts for friends and family. I bought my friend a Frederick T-shirt for Christmas after having a discussion with the woman working there that day. She agreed it was risky to buy clothing as a gift, but said my friend could exchange it and get something else if she wanted to. Never was it mentioned the exchange had to take place in the next 14 days.My friend, who is not local, went back to the store 3 weeks later wanting to exchange for a larger size and possibly pay the difference to get the long sleeve version that is $20 more expensive. She was told she could not exchange the shirt as it was outside of the 14 day window. I called and spoke to the woman working, Summer, and tried to explain the specifics of the situation. She admitted that a mistake had been made when I was not originally told about the 14 day exchange window, but exhibited very poor customer service and frankly business sense by not allowing my friend to exchange for the more expensive long sleeved version of the same shirt when both are still being sold in store.Again, I loved these stores and have been more than happy to support the amazing small businesses in Frederick. However, the poor customer service and unwillingness to be seen as an individual case will keep me from being a return customer.

I love to visit Treaty General every time I'm in Frederick. Last time I was there, the employees were so patient with me as I tried on multiple pairs of jeans to find the exact fit and style I wanted. This is the difference in shopping a small business! The fun atmosphere and advice from the stylish staff always bring me back.

Tried to exchange a gift I received for Christmas and was told no exchanges or refunds because it was “on sale” when it was purchased. Awful policy. I received another item from that store and I don’t want anything from there. My advice: spend your money somewhere else.
