Tried to charge me $2 for 8 inches of tape. They would not print a receipt for me and got visibly annoyed when I took pictures of my packages being returned in the store. This was after I left the store and had another business kindly donate me 8 inches of tape. This happened some time in the past year. I am leaving this review because unfortunately I now have to go back today. I will update this review later.

There were 13 people standing in line such that it wrapped around the center table and next to the register. The man 10th in line happened to be next to the register where the employee was working with another customer. The guy asked the employee to take his package (drop off) and the employee took it even though he was still working with someone else ignoring the fact that the rest of us were there first. When I said something to the employee he brushed it off that he "thought" that guy was the next in line which is a lie because the beginning of the line is on the opposite side of the room, which that employee would have known if he worked there for more than 5 minutes!

This “small bussines” is ridiculous charging $2 for one feet or tape. Be prepared when you are shipping something. Unfortunately is the only place in town during weekends open.

Closed in the middle of the day (1PM) without a sign on the door. Very inconvenient

Be mindful when returning Amazon packages through this location. Kohl's may be the better option as they don't charge for tape or require the original Amazon box. Customer service is usually good, but my experience yesterday was less than desirable.

The kids in this store are always unprofessional and trying to enforce made up policy’s. Especially with Amazon returns. They will try to stretch “amazons” policy’s where they don’t apply just to try to upsell you on a box, bag, tape etc. Amazon accepts returns in any recycled box with or without original packaging. Directions are Put the item in a box, tape it, take it to ups and they give you a label. This UPS makes up rules like “this plain brown box once was an item’s box instead of an exterior shipping box so it needs to be double boxed. Amazon doesn’t care about original packaging. This is a UPS scam to make you have to pay for a box. If this were the case, UPS would need to open every Amazon return box to ensure it has original packaging, their excuse for me needing to have an exterior box is so that the item box isn’t damaged with a label causing Amazon not to be able to resell it. The item box is a regular brown sturdy box with no markings. The item is bolts and nuts that were thrown into a plain box with no branding. They only knew it was an item box because it had one small Amazon sticker on it that could be peeled off. If this “policy” of needing to have the item box protected can not enforced for other packages then why does UPS have a say at all what box I ship a package in as long as it’s a plain and sturdy. There’s no chance they’re checking every taped up box to ensure it has OG packing inside.. I was returning another box with the same item in it but it did not have any original packing/item box, and the item was loosely thrown in a reused “exterior shipping box”. This return did not even contain the item box they are claiming Amazon required in good condition for the other return… yet they could return this one. There is no logic here. When I tried to explain my thoughts to the associate helping me to better understand, some bratty girl just kept talking over me repeatedly telling me I didn’t understand ( so helpful). She also kept telling me that the other package they would accept is double boxed and I’m like I’m the one who packaged it, lol no it isn’t? It’s loose item thrown in a reused box with ZERO original packaging. Therefore furthering my explanation of why this can’t consistently be enforced even if it was an Amazon policy. I do in-fact understand the concept of what they were saying but there is absolutely no way to enforce this 95 percent of the time so why now on a box that is perfectly suitable for shipping? Also originally they told me that they could ship it but there’s a chance Amazon doesn’t accept the return. I said ok I’ll take my chances and they said actually no we won’t do it. lol I would accept this decline if this was a flimsy toaster box with branding all over it but that is not the case. This was simply ridiculous. Every question I asked, I had 3/4 employees surrounding me talking over each other saying the same thing over and over and unable to actually respond to any question that challenged there “policy” or logic. The girl was like whining and getting attitude. I left with my packages and I reached out to Amazon for clarity on this so called policy and they confirmed my thoughts of as long as the item is in a box it is fine doesn’t matter if it is a shopping box or reused item box as long as it is sturdy and the item is in there- the item box/packaging is irrelevant. They apologised for UPS error. Someone needs to train these kids on 1 how to speak to people, 2 using common sense. There are no issues like this at other ups locations. I took it to another location and they had no problem taking it with no issue. Not sure what’s going on on Wormans mill

If you're new to town and need to return an Amazon package, make sure you box AND tape it up yourself before dropping off to this location. You will be charged $2 for tape, no matter the size you need to secure your package. This is the first time, I've been charged for anything pertaining to an Amazon return and the associate didn't give me a receipt for the charge when asked. Hopefully they only take the charge for the tape.

Not impressed.
1. Impossible to speak w a living human to ask questions via phone.
2. Advertises as a notary but does not specify very limited hours or required appointment. See #1 above.

I dropped a package off and they did not want to provide a drop off receipt. If I want to report a loss package, there is no way for me to do it, as UPS would only reimburse you if you have a drop off receipt.
Very sketchy UPS store. The clerk also mentioned that all UPS stores in Frederick don't provide receipts, which is very weird and sketchy.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE !!!

The damn snarky tape. To the owner who's to review this with half apology, no. This is a pattern that this store has that I've not witnessed at other locations. There are easier ways to get lunch money.

I would go to another UPS store in Frederick next time. I went there earlier today because they open on Sundays, but they processed the customers slowly and charged me $2 for using "improper" packaging tape. Other UPS stores would simply put another layer of the tape on the box for me within 5 seconds free of charge.
