Advised by pharmacy it would be four hours before prescription ready when I am sitting here waiting on it. Then told an hour and half because they had other people waiting i lobby for their prescriptions. No Manager's available. Advised could come in store and talk to upfront manager. come into store. ONE person waiting for prescription. Go back up front told store manager had family emergency and nothing they can do about pharmacy and could talk to pharmacy manager who was told was not here. What happened to if you are waiting for prescription you move to the front?? I get my doctor sent the prescription 5 minutes before I got here but really FOUR HOURS to get it filled. Then they sent the other customer up front where I was talking to someone and said my prescription was ready come back and they lied it's not ready. So much for the commercials putting the customer first and how great care the pharmacy takes care of you.

0 stars. My mom went to the drive thru to pick up a very important prescription. She is 80, disabled and unable to walk into the store. When she had questions about the billing bc Walgreens was TRIPLE CHARGING her they refused to answer Instead of asking her to drive around and speak with a manager or anyone who would feel good helping another human out they refused her further service and called the police for blocking the lane. I then called the store and spoke to someone, a Lucas De Oliveria, who identified himself as the store manager. This fool just kept interrupting and refusing to be accountable for himself or his staff. Seemed like a very small man IMO. Not only is this a violation of her ADA rights but now my mother doesn’t have her meds either and we are scrambling to figure out how to remedy that. On top of a senior citizen being denied access to the meds her doctor has prescribed the lack of customer service, empathy, and over all disposable treatment lead me to contact the corporate offices. And surprise!! they were closed. I will be sure to update this review once they respond however given their current Google reviews my expectations of making it right are low. I wonder if they know what their NPS score is or why it’s so low. As a corporate leader myself I would consider closing this store if it was under my leadership. Let’s see if corporate walks the walk if they even choose to follow up.

Service at this location in the pharmacy is the absolute worst. The pharmacists are extremely rude and could truly care less about the people that they are here to serve.
Every single month the give me the wrong manufacturer for a medicine.

I've been coming here for years to get my prescriptions. Used to always be friendly and on top of things getting it to you as fast as possible. Past two years I unfortunately keep falling ill and I need my prescription ASAP. I'll be sick sitting in the parking lot for over an hour waiting for them to fill my prescription when there's absolutely nobody in there waiting. They'll be absolutely nobody in the waiting area for a prescription or no one in the drive-thru line waiting. Very unhappy with how downhill this place has become. I'll be sick and contagious and they even suggest I come inside and sit in the waiting area. Why in the world would you want someone sick and contagious just sitting in your store for over an hour waiting for a prescription!? This is the last time I'll be getting my prescriptions here.

I had a great experience at their Pharmacy , particularly with Destiny. I’d just come from CVS because they canceled my appointment without notice (made two weeks prior) and was in a rush to get a vaccination. She was patient and incredibly helpful dealing with my insurance. The rest of the staff was friendly as well. Definitely made my day better and appreciated the care I received!

Pharmacy. I gave my new ins card to the tech, said my name, and that it was on the card. He took the card and asked, "What's your name".
I said it again and said" As I said it's on the card". He typed something, put the card on the and left leaving my card on the counter. He came back and started helping other people never saving a word to me. I had no idea what was happening or why he left. 7-8 minutes passed and the pharmacist came. My RX was filled 3 days ago and I received a text. Not sure what was going on. The pharmacist rang up my order using my old ins. I explained I had new ins. He responded,"This is what we have on file." So I had to tell him I had new ins, all the while the tech I had been working with is 2 feet away helping someone. Then I explained my new ins card was right there in the counter. I assumed the original tech entered the info when he received the card and typed something in. The pharmacist left and came back 10 minutes later, now there's a customer asking me if he was in the right line. There is ZERO communication in a PHARMACY? They didn't seem busy. I had been the only one in line for quite a while. I won't be returning here for RX's. I am in the medical field and work with patients every day. I am verbally and mentally present when I speak to my patients.

The pharmacy is a clusterfuk of epic proportions. Constant staff turnover. They never have your medicine ready on time, and then when you wait, they never leave you alone to come get it. The bull dike manager is rude to her employees and customers. I have seen her get short with elderly customers. Corporate needs to come in here and clean house, but I don't see that happening. I am going through cancer treatment and some of the medications I take need to be taken almost as soon as they are prescribed. This walgreens acts like it can take all day with an order whether you need it or not. YOu are on their time they make it seem. I had my doctor call in one today with explicit instructions that it be filed ASAP. They told me it was locked in a time delay safe and they somehow could not open that safe until after their lunch break. Staff arent trained well leaving them open to the fury of customers which is probably why there is constant staff turnover. Bottom line, just dont go here and if you are going here, transfer elsewhere. There are plenty of decent pharmacies in the area that dont treat their customers like a major inconvenience

Worst pharmacy, my monthly medication is always “delayed” every single month. Then when a day or two passes I call to check the status and miraculously the medication can be ready in 30 mins. Oh, did I mention they also lost my prescription and said they didn't have anything that was sent in. When I showed up with “receipts” (text messages from Walgeeens, and date stamp from the doctor of my last refill), they said oh, yeah, we have it, it's just not filled, it will be ready in an hour. The pharmacy is a complete joke.

Worst customer service and incompetent and rude pharmacist. The staff doesn’t know how to correctly quote prices of medications. They can’t even fill medications in a timely fashion and correctly. Corporate needs to step in and clean house! Go to another location if you can!!

Ive gone to this Walgreens maybe 4 times on 6 months just to grab sale items or snacks . So far each time ive had to hunt down someone to check out ! On the one occasion that an employee was near the front ( not behind the register) they were chatting it up !! Very annoying lack of service at this location!

Horrible customer service- arrogant pharmacists, medications that are supposed to be ready are not. The staff is combative and unprofessional. Staff doesn't know what they are talking about or doing when it comes to insurance coverage. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

This is the only Walgreens myself and my family go to in the Frederick area. We have consistently received excellent customer service, especially from the pharmacist named Joy Spice, she is quite literally a joy! We get our vaccines here and we frequently stop to pick up any necessities, and the store is always very clean and well stocked!

by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to the staff at the pharmacy are nasty and very unprofessional and let's not forget the manager KORELL he's nasty and rude and has terrible customer service I don't even know how he has a manager position this is my second time coming to the pharmacy from the drive though right before 8pm when they close and once it was 8 pm I get up to the window they don't even acknowledge you or even say I'm sorry we are closed they don't even accommodate the people that's been waiting in line for their medication I went into the store to ask KORELL the store policy for the pharmacy when cars have been waiting this man wouldn't look at me he didnt greet me like a manager should and had the nerv to say even with cars waiting they don't have to help them if they busy past 8 or if they have cars in front of you that took longer I have called before and complained but nothing was done and best believe the store manager Joy doesn't even care because she never called me back

The Pharmacy @ Opossumtown Pike in Frederick is great and so is all of their staff! I've been going there for years. It's a pretty simple process. You go in and drop of your script. Let them know @ that point if you need it in a hurry or they can just take their time on it. Then you leave. You simply check your Walgreens app, and that will let you know when what process your medication is in at that point. Once your script is ready, you will get a email or a text. At that point you go in and get you prescriptions. It's been working for me this way for YEARS, so I'm not sure what the hell the rest of you are doing that's pissing you all off. It seems like a pretty simple process to me.
