Worst pharmacy, my monthly medication is always “delayed” every single month. Then when a day or two passes I call to check the status and miraculously the medication can be ready in 30 mins. Oh, did I mention they also lost my prescription and said they didn't have anything that was sent in. When I showed up with “receipts” (text messages from Walgeeens, and date stamp from the doctor of my last refill), they said oh, yeah, we have it, it's just not filled, it will be ready in an hour. The pharmacy is a complete joke.

Worst customer service and incompetent and rude pharmacist. The staff doesn’t know how to correctly quote prices of medications.They can’t even fill medications in a timely fashion and correctly. Corporate needs to step in and clean house! Go to another location if you can!!

Ive gone to this Walgreens maybe 4 times on 6 months just to grab sale items or snacks . So far each time ive had to hunt down someone to check out ! On the one occasion that an employee was near the front ( not behind the register) they were chatting it up !! Very annoying lack of service at this location!

Horrible customer service- arrogant pharmacists, medications that are supposed to be ready are not. The staff is combative and unprofessional. Staff doesn't know what they are talking about or doing when it comes to insurance coverage. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

This is the only Walgreens myself and my family go to in the Frederick area. We have consistently received excellent customer service, especially from the pharmacist named Joy Spice, she is quite literally a joy! We get our vaccines here and we frequently stop to pick up any necessities, and the store is always very clean and well stocked!

by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to the staff at the pharmacy are nasty and very unprofessional and let's not forget the manager KORELL he's nasty and rude and has terrible customer service I don't even know how he has a manager position this is my second time coming to the pharmacy from the drive though right before 8pm when they close and once it was 8 pm I get up to the window they don't even acknowledge you or even say I'm sorry we are closed they don't even accommodate the people that's been waiting in line for their medication I went into the store to ask KORELL the store policy for the pharmacy when cars have been waiting this man wouldn't look at me he didnt greet me like a manager should and had the nerv to say even with cars waiting they don't have to help them if they busy past 8 or if they have cars in front of you that took longer I have called before and complained but nothing was done and best believe the store manager Joy doesn't even care because she never called me back

The Pharmacy @ Opossumtown Pike in Frederick is great and so is all of their staff! I've been going there for years. It's a pretty simple process. You go in and drop of your script. Let them know @ that point if you need it in a hurry or they can just take their time on it. Then you leave. You simply check your Walgreens app, and that will let you know when what process your medication is in at that point. Once your script is ready, you will get a email or a text. At that point you go in and get you prescriptions. It's been working for me this way for YEARS, so I'm not sure what the hell the rest of you are doing that's pissing you all off. It seems like a pretty simple process to me.

Left one Walgreens to go here . BIG mistake. Nothing more than kids laughing at you after they loose your prescription 3X . To sit there all day without anyone even telling me they’re working on it. All day NADA! Dr s can only send 3 . So they finally did find the 2nd one and then told me it did not have the prescribers address on it. OkSo I had a 3rd one sent which took them another 2 hours and the pharmacist Richard Gana and tech Morgan Brown then tell that my address isn’t on it and they still can’t fill it. Richard specifically asked for the Dr s not mine . It gets better so I called another Walgreens were I’ve had that medication filled out and tell them that my address wasn’t on the prescription and they can’t feel it. The tech literally took two seconds to say well that’s easy all they have to do is make a profile for it they don’t need your address. So after one lie after another richer then finally says oh no, I asked for that address. I swear I’m really losing Hogan are human race and how they could possibly have these people handling drugs is just unheard of sad, sad and sick. I think it was no one’s. Richard had his next flu shot. I’ll bet he wasted no time at all to jump on that . Just really sucks when our fellow race simply does not care and not only not care but to laugh at the fact I can’t get my medicine

Pharmacy says 8am-8pm however, they close for lunch. No sign in drive through window. Kept pushing the call button and they just kept hanging up. Called store and message stated pharmacy closes for lunch. Who runs a business like this? This store sucks.

My insurance just changed and I had to leave CVS, which I would note as 5 star, and begin using Walgreens pharmacy. When I arrived I noticed an older gentlemen with some difficulty standing and waiting at the Consultation window. I asked how long he had been waiting and he said 5 or so minutes. When I looked into the window I noticed a lot of workers milling about, so I leaned in, caught someone’s eye and let them know a gentleman had a question. At this point a woman begrudgingly come to the window, spoke very loudly, didn’t have any patience when his prescription was the wrong one and he would have to reach out to his doctor for the correct one to be filled. He asked if there was any available when he got the right prescription and she said “No” and not sure they could get it in when he needed it. She never offered any assistance to take some of the stress off his plate. It was painful to listen to this whole interaction.I continued to observe several interactions like the aforementioned with ungaged counter workers who appeared to not want to be bothered by the fact that they had customers needing assistance.I waited 30 minutes for an immunization appointment and I had to intervene several times. The counter worker took my information and walked away with no other communication. Eventually, I leaned in while she was helping another customer and asked where I was supposed to be standing and she confirmed my location and said that the pharmacist would be right with me. I waited again and asked the young lady for a time check and she said that it had to do with my insurance. I asked if it would help to see my insurance card and in fact she said it would. She never even asked about seeing my insurance card or anything that could have expedited the process. Then they tried to close for lunch without executing on my immunizations that I registered for, but I reached out as they were trying to close the gate on me. Finally, I got my immunizations after intervening multiple times and waiting 30 minutes.After reading prior reviews, I would definitely take them seriously and not use this pharmacy if you can possibly avoid it.

If I could rate a zero I would. Meds are NEVER ready when promised. Only ONE friendly person I've ever run across. Very hard to get a person to answer the phone. And when they do answer they act like your putting them out of their way to do their JOB. I will be transferring all my and my husbands prescriptions and going to Weis on Thomas Johnson Dr. And we have a lot!! Always friendly. Items are in stock most the time and if not by the next day! Take my advice and go there!

Do not use them for print services. Horrendous. I also changed my prescription services. Didn’t print on the correct paper. Couldn’t get me an updated job on the correct paper (card stock) until later in the night. Can not reach the store had to drive over, completely unprofessional.We were testing 25 brochures will most likely do 500 month. Went to UPS instead.

Avoid at all costs, 40 min wait through pharmacy drive thru with 1 car in front. I then pulled up to the window to find no one there and waited 15 minutes for someone to finally arrive. No apologies, horrible customer service.

This place is a JOKE! The pharmacy is incompetent, failed to fulfill a prescription, not once but twice, hardly apologetic, add inconvenience after inconvenience already to this day from hell, thank you Walgreens.
