Shante H. has got to be by far the sweetest and most professional customer service associate that I’ve encountered while shopping at this particular store location. I have lived in this area for over 20 years and have shopped at this location thousands of hundreds of times before it was even bought out by Walgreens and was still owned by Rite Aide. Just a few months ago, I even transferred to Walgreens pharmacy on W. Patrick Street because I disliked the pharmacist at this specific location, but thanks to my encounter with Shante this evening I may even rethink coming back to this location for pharmacy services, dispite my distaste for the attitude I received from the store’s pharmacist on numerous occasions. it all started when I placed an order for photos online for the first time earlier this evening. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and not familiar with Walgreen’s photo app. Upon picking up my photos I was not very happy but accepted my fate and assumed not to procrastinate when placing future orders. Shante noticed this and offered to replace the photos at no additional charge, but also took the time to show me how to use the app. Give this girl the recognition she deserves for going the extra mile with this customer!

I’m not sure why this place has only 2 star ratings…….
The lady at the pharmacy checkout was pleasant even though she was multitasking.
The pharmacy has NEW HOURS (as of 2/29/24) so be cognizant of that. I posted a photo of the hours. Even though Walgreens building is open on the weekends the pharmacy is NOT.
I also had a great interaction with a lady at the front checkout area. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
The store, inside, was well kept and organized and the bathrooms were clean.
I would go here again.

Had a great experience this evening. The cashier Makiyah was so warm, inviting and kind which was exactly what I needed. I hope she gets a bonus or a raise because she is exactly what we all need in this world.

I would give them zero stars if I could. This is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. I stopped going YEARS ago but my husbands doctor sent a script there so he tried, until today. When it was Rite Aid I had no issues and really liked them. Immediately when they made the change to Walgreens everything went completely south. The pharmacy is closed ALL weekend and has extremely limited hours during the week. But that’s not even the real issue. Recently my husband couldn’t get his medication filled. After calling 4 times, they pushed it back on the insurance. He realized he could self pay and filled the script at Wegmans with no issues. His doctor sent his refill script back to Walgreens by accident so today he went back to pick it up and was rudely told he was “not allowed to switch from insurance pay to self pay”- WHAT?!? If a doctor prescribes a medication the patient is allowed to decide if they want it to go through insurance or self pay! Who trained these people and why did the woman at the counter think it was okay to also get argumentative and accusatory that my husband was doing something wrong?!? He heard her telling someone else that he was “trying to pull something” and that he isn’t allowed to decide if he wants to self-pay. Insanity! It wasn’t until he said forget it, he would get it from Wegmans again that the woman “tried” to be nice. Awful awful customer service!! I left years ago after a whole different terrible experience. The pharmacist at that time (not sure if he’s still there or not) was rude and argumentative with me so I switched immediately to CVS on Ballenger and have had zero complaints there.
Corporate read the reviews here, management take initiative to make changes. I cannot believe this place is still in business. Read the bad reviews, I can attest they are all accurate! You’re losing customers- do better!

Dangerous pharmacy operating hours.
Pharmacy closes on weekends as if medication can wait till they’re open for business only. They open late, 10 am, and then close early at 6pm. The small window of time is ridiculous. Go to a 24-Hour CVS Pharmacy or the regular ones.
If you’re medication is Non-Stop like GENVOYA or something similar (meaning you can NOT stop it)… DO NOT COME HERE! They are unwaveringly out-of-stock of medication and then the patient suffers the consequences of waiting until business hours to get it. God forbid, any resistance from the illness builds and the drugs no longer have any efficacy, and then you have to get sick again until you see a doctor to prescribe you another drug that has extreme In side effects.
Other than all that, the front cashier staff are friendly. I find ordinary things at moderate prices. Super close to home.

I am not sure whats the point of this pharmacy. Its a joke. Open at 10 closes at 6. If you are at work you can not pick up ur meds. You get discharged from hospital on friday you cant pick up ur meds u til monday. You need something urgently you need to wt untill monday. Oh and by the way 100% of the time they don't have meds in stock. Waste of space.

Price gouging!! The price of Delsym cough medicine was about $7 more than CVS. I’m not from Frederick, MD ( just passing through) and it’s my first time at Walgreens. My fault! I should have quickly checked online for the price at CVS. Never again!!

I had no issue with the service at this pharmacy. I see all these horrible revue and wonder why? . The pharmacy manager is extremely responsive and very competent, all the others I dealt with are very courteous and friendly people. People who are writing bad reviews should be specific.

You'd think that if the manager of this store saw the horrible reviews that they would make some drastic changes. Can't believe that this location hasn't closed their doors yet. It seems like ll of the employees totally hate having a job. Find a different branch. This location needs to fire all of its employees and close the doors!!!

Looking at the poor ratings for Walgreens on Crestwood, I have to think that somebody has a grudge against them and initiated a lot of fake reviews. I used Walgreens here for the first time for my very first Covid vaccine when it was first available, and I have gone out of my way to go to this Walgreens repeatedly since then (vaccines, boosters, shopping.) Service is always prompt, efficient, kind, & friendly. The store is clean and organized. I appreciate and applaud the staff!
