Horrible customer service. I rang the bell at the deli and received an eye roll from the employee. All the deli meat in the to go case was several days old. I will not be returning.

I went to the deli to order a pizza and while I was first in line I waited for the next person to get her deli meat cut. The representative finally got to me and after I asked for a pizza I was told they were short staffed and they would try but if a customer arrived they would need to stop and help them. I remarked that I was a customer too. I did get my pizza and nobody else interrupted but I left feeling disrespected. Is a customer ordering a pizza less important than one ordering deli meat cut?

Amazingly clean inside- wide aisles and many check out lanes. Some have staff, most automatic.
Prices are reasonable compared to other Maryland chains. Good stock of many items, produce was fresh. Bakery smallish.

Nice and quiet, very clean, and the staff was friendly. Able to find what I wanted easily, and parking was spacious and ample.

I found pretty much everything I needed, the store was clean, and the prices seem reasonable to me. I have two complaints: I felt cold in there, as if the temperature was set at 69 degrees or something, and, like other places, they didn't have enough human check-out clerks. They had only one. If I'm buying more than about 10 items, I don't want to do it myself, because almost invariably there's some problem. Adding to that, although I don't necessarily count this as a downside, they don't provide bags, unless you want to buy theirs. I knew that, going in, but had forgotten to bring mine. Didn't realize it until I got to check out, but then had time to run to my car and get the bags I keep in there for that purpose. None of that will stop me from going back, as there is more to like than to dislike, and it's a convenient location. In fact, it was my go-to grocery store for years and years.
I should add, for those who care, that the restroom is somewhat strangely located. To get to it, you go through a section where employees work, suggesting it was an afterthought. But it's otherwise fine, and I don't frequently need to use it.

The Weis in Pasadena is way better than anyone in Frederick! Super spacious and modern! They even have a real seafood dept. I wish I could move this location to make it my reg store. The prices aren't always correct, and you must look at ALL expiration dates. For the most part friendly service.
