I don’t have prescription drug coverage, so they took the time to find the cheapest price for each of my medications by using prescription savings programs. They have saved me over $3000 total during the past few months . I am incredibly thankful for their help, support and understanding.

If you've seen my latest check-ins and reviews, you know two things: 1. I'm visiting Frederick, Maryland (where I lived from 1993-1998). 2. I've been in the gym every day this month (October), sans Sundays. That being said... ...Weis was always my pit stop on the way to work for one thing: DONUUUUUUUUUTS!!!! I really don't have much to say about the store as a grocery store because it's pretty much what you would expect. But those DONUUUUUUUUTS!!! Lord save me... These are the best donuts I've ever had at a grocery store. Which is why I brought up Point #2. It's the last place I should be if I'm trying to lose weight. Hey, don't judge me. Mind your own bathroom scale. The assortment is great and they are ridiculously flavorful. Soft. Flaky. Huge. I could eat them all day! Which is why I'm going to be in that gym every day in November. Go to Weis, preferrably in the morning. Why? DONUUUUUUUUTS!! Enough said, I have another one to eat...

Lucy is awesome: knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Among many other things over the years, she fixed an issue with my mother's medication cost that another employee created. She had to figure out what happened, get management approval, refund a credit card, etc. and she did it all with a smile. She is Weis pharmacy's most valuable employee and I'm always happy to see that she's on duty when I go to pick up prescriptions, because I know everything will go smoothly.

Super friendly and helpful. When my grandfather passed away from his battle with cancer the whole staff sent my grandma a card they all signed. Lucy is the greatest.

Best in town. No lie. Go once show them what your doctor ordered, and they will not run out of stock. CVS doesn't operate like that, and I'm not old enough for Walgreens yet. It's seriously a good pharmacy and deserves a 5-star rating.

This location has a great selection of unique products at great prices! I'm an 80% vegan (can't get over that cheesy pizza!) and while I waited for my cookie cake to be decorated with frosting, I perused the fresh section near the produce and was pleasantly surprised by all the vegan and vegetarian options available. It's off the Golden Mile and easier to access, but the place still had plenty of people in the rain on a Friday morning. The workers aren't masked (including the bakery worker), but I'm trying my best to adapt to life without masks again (though I'm still masked bc, scared). The candy bar selection (another item we hit up for a fun gift idea) was well-stocked and the rest of the store was in good shape and well kept. The bakery especially had LOTS of options. Would definitely shop there again!

My family has been primarily shopping at this location for decades. Based on the dangerous behavior of employees in recent months, we will no longer be able to do so until and unless Weis trains their employees properly and stops violating public health and their own safety protocols.I have observed Weis employees at this store removing their masks, sliding their masks down below their nose, and standing in close proximity to customers and other employees.I was putting my groceries in my car when an employee came up and stood a foot away from me offering to put my cart back for me. He had no mask on.I have observed employees standing at the ends of their lines when they didn't have customers, removing their masks and chatting, feet away from where customers must pass to get out of the store.I have observed employee meetings where groups of 6 or 8 employees stand in a circle, blocking an aisle, many with masks pulled down and no way to get around them without coming far closer than 6 feet.I have reported this type of behavior several times now, including calling and being assured that a manager would call me back. No one has, and the behavior continues. The last time I visited was the last straw. A store employee came up right next to me as I stood in the pharmacy aisles looking at mouthwashes. She had her mask pulled all the way down, not covering either her mouth or nose. She reached and selected something off the shelf inches away from me. This is a long-time employee and if she doesn't know better, then there is absolutely ZERO real interest on the part of Weis management in protecting the health of their customers or employees. This is beyond unacceptable.

Chris and Lucy are the best Pharmacist! They are so helpful even go to computer to work with insurance companies to get you the medicine you need that the insurance will pay for. They are very friendly and remind me you use my Weis card for discounts.

Leaving Little to praise about a discombobulated store layout, and sticker shock on many everyday things . Sorry Weiss, it was not easy finding anything.

I can't believe how great the pharmacy is at Weis Market, 2 Old Camp Road, off Hwy 40 West in Frederick. Like many others, I was sad when the Safeway on 7th Street closed after 50 years in business. The pharmacy there was great! Absolutely top notch. All accounts were automatically transferred to a nearby, let's call them a 3 letter pharmacy. They're everywhere. The new place insisted on giving me only 30-day refills, which was slightly inconvenient and tripled the co-pay cost of the 90-day refills I'd been getting. So, looked around and heard good things about the Weis pharmacy out on the west side of town. I could not believe how hard these folks work to make sure you get the medicine you need at the lowest price possible. McKenzie helped me first, and I got a 90-day refill (using an on-line coupon) at no cost to me! A few days later I went back to pick up two more, different prescriptions. Again, a 90-day refill had a zero copay. The 30-day refill had a co-pay of only 97 cents! If you are looking for ways to save money, and want help from hard working pharmacists and staff who want to help you get the best deal possible, please give this place a try. I am still amazed at how much help they've given to me!
